Owners were very nice. Other cabins looked very charming but ours was definitely in the "value" category. It was next to a dilapidated Class A motorhome and several non-functioning cars/trucks. Hot water in bathroom sink but could not get past a chilled shower temp. Floors were uneven to walk on. Wi-Fi was weak/slow due to distance from office I assume. DVD player stopped working and there is no television. Heater was an antique! None of these were deal killers for us though as the bed was comfortable and the cabin was free of drafts. Coffee maker worked as did the small dorm frig.

The property is in a great location off the main road with easy access to Seward. The cabins are adorably decorated in a rustic motif with wild flowers everywhere and a stream that runs along the property. The cabin was clean and great for families. The owners are very sweet. I highly recommend.

The cabin is exactly what we were looking for and more. Comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The host was friendly and it was nice that there was everything you would need to have a coffee as you sit on the porch to enjoy the view!

There was NOTHING I was unhappy with. The cabin was immaculate, the staff was helpful, courteous, and accommodating! This is a rustic setting, but perfect for what we wanted, and I would 10/10 stay here again!

This was a comfortable stay and worked great for a central location in the Kenai Peninsula. This was mainly a place for us to clean up and sleep as we were active every day. Perfect for our needs.

We arrived extremely late and they waited up for us which was nice. They did change our cabin we had originally selected without telling us. We accidentally forgot to say we had two small children with us on the Expedia app but we did select the right number of beds. They switched our cabins which only had 1 full size and one twin when originally we had a cabin with one full and two twins. If I remember correctly, we were supposed to be in cabin 1 and they switched the cabin to six. Other than that it was a good short stay.

We loved Janet and Chris! They welcomed us into their homes and fed us a nice pancake breakfast and we even got some Alaskan Bacon... Moose steaks. Hosts were very friendly. We highly recommend these cute cabins!

While the location is farther from Seward than I thought when I booked the cabin, it was not a big problem. It is about 30 minutes to town. That was with significant road construction going on, which included periodic road closures.

The cabin was perfect for our family of four. It’s an easy and beautiful 30 mile drive to activities in Seward. The room included coffee, a microwave, and mini fridge plus dining table and chairs in the room. The kids had their own twin beds and we enjoyed the Queen bed in the upstairs loft. Having a whole place to ourselves for a couple days was a nice change of pace on our weeklong trip around Alaska. We also enjoyed a pancake breakfast with the owner one morning - just be sure to give them a heads up the day before and let them know when you’ll be by.
We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Seward in the future.

Very quaint and clean. We had the Papa Bear and it looks as if they have raised the floor several inches so the ceiliniare low and you need to squat in the shower to get your hair wet. There is no blow dryer. Would be nice to have hot cocoa for those of us who don't drink coffee There is a nice shared fire pit and covered tables . The hosts were very nice. .

Good budget-value stay. Not luxurious and a bit dated, but the cabin was nice and large. Comfortable beds and clean. Nice thick towels are always a bonus. Says mini kitchen, but it was only a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. So the food I bought to cook on a stove went to waste. Wouldn't stay with small children since the loft area is not safe for them. We enjoyed our stay here. Happy Travels.

Has a very rustic feel to it. I was alittle disappoint that the outside common area with the bbq grill for cooking and fire pit was unavailable. The cabin sloped down on one side so you didnt want to put anything that could spill on the counter top. Check in was friendly and fast as was checking out. At check in i was told i could use the kitchen inside where they live since they hadnt been able to get the bbq grill common area set up yet. However i wasnt totally sure if its their kitchen or only for the guests .The living quarters were nice and spacious and clean. Hot water for shower was wonderful. It was a cold weekend which meant cabin was cold so the hot shower did wonders. Besides the common area not being set up the only real issue i have is the price we paid even tho we didnt have use of the facilities. It was quiet for the most part except for the traffic on the hyway . I can see how this could be an ok place to stay later in the season. Bring spider spray. Im assuming the time of season had to do with the amount of spiders .
