Our stay did not start off as well as we had expected. The shower enclosure in the bathroom had a huge leak even before we checked in and that would flood the bathroom. But the hotels managers, especially Mr. Nasimi Taghiyev empathized with us and was quick in moving us into a better room. During our stay we were well taken care of, and Mr. Nasimi and his managers always made sure that our stay was enjoyable. They have a good breakfast spread with an array of options available. Room had a great view. Heat worked well. Will come back to this place again

I rarely write bad reviews but this hotel made me to do so!
1) I reserved a triple room and actually that was the only reason I reserved this hotel since they offer triple rooms with THREE TWIN BEDS (explicitly mentioned in the description) as usually rollover beds are very uncomfortable. However, when we checked in, we were given a twin room with two twin beds and a rollover bed, and they said they do not have any triple room with three twin beds! The room actually was too small so they could barley fit the rollover bed.Talking with manger did not help and even hotels.com did not take responsibility! To me, it's exactly what called as FALSE advertisement.
2) the hotel is very small and even do not have an elevator and restaurant is on 4th floor! You have to take stairs to get to your room or restaurant. The breakfast buffet is also very normal with few options and not at the level of a 4 star hotel.
3) We stay two nights as we had no choice to change our hotel that lately in our trip and they did not clean up our room
4) For a day and half, the hotel did not have warm water so we could not even take shower during our stay.
So dont be fooled by Photoshoped pictures and few good reviews. You get nothing for your money from this hotel. Please take my advise!

This Hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were so friendly and attentive they couldn't do enough for you.
The rooms were spacious but ideally would benefit from a makeover.
Breakfast was adequate, was pleasant to sit outside on the rooftop terrace.

The nice location and pleasant staff don't quite make up for the poor room, which had just a tiny window in the corner. The owners obviously recognized the problem because they hung up drapery all across the wall as if there were windows behind it, which to me just emphasized their absence. Maybe because of the lack of sunlight, the greenish florescent overhead lights--the only working lights--seemed particularly unpleasant. There were a host of other minor problems--a broken tile, a broken towel rack, a safe with no instructions and no obvious way to set a code, no wash cloths--that were no big deal on their own but all together made the experience feel shoddy.
The staff was pleasant and helpful, though a little confused. My last night there I tried to set up a taxi to the airport and was told to just walk over to the street (outside the old city walls) and hail one, but the next morning when I checked out the attendant told me they could call one to come straight to the hotel door.
The location is good, in a quiet corner of the old city--a little further away from the main area (near the Maiden's Tower) than I would have liked, but still just a short and pleasant walk. Not easy to either hail a cab or get a cab close to the front door, however. The breakfast was adequate, but improved by happening on a lovely terrace overlooking a park.
Would probably stay somewhere else next time--it looks like there are better options nearby for not too much more money.
