This hotel property is unique and beautiful. Style of the hotel is that of an old traditional Korean house, with all the modern touches. If visiting the Incheon area again we will definitely book this property again.

First off the staff was very unwelcoming and when i asked for the welcome drink and plater never received one.
second, bathtub had alot of black spots on it that was easily removed when we scrubbed it few times.
Lastly, my wife left her glasses and they never called us and when we ask them for it they had it. but they told me that it was not their policy to give the courtesy calls on returned the items that they found. and Also the gym was closed but was never informed ahead of time. To be honest, this was my worst experience from staying at a hotel. I stayed at a Novetel the night before and it was alot more accommodation and had way better service with over 500 rooms. But this hotel being very high standard and having only 30 rooms i expected much better service But i wss thoroughly disappointed.

The hotel is in traditional Korean architecture and is in beautiful condition!! The staff were all professional and exhibited a genuine demeanor when asking how I enjoyed my stay. I would truly enjoy returning to this property for another stay!!

It was really good !

The service was superb!!! Despite the late check-in, (approx 11pm) the staff ran towards our taxi to assist with the luggages upon our arrival and was so welcoming. Also, the staff escorted us to our room, guided us about their services and amenities, provided snacks and a welcome gift (bath salt). Will de

We went to Korea for 2 weeks. We stayed in Seoul for 5 days at the Four Seasons (wow that hotel is awesome too), traveled to Busan for a few days, and then stayed at this place Hanok Village. This hanok village hotel is so awesome!!!! It was our favorite part of our trip. It is like staying in the past with modern touches (AC, internet, free snack bar).
Honestly people just book it! I am korean American and we go to Korea all time and we just discovered this place. My daughter who is 4 said it was her favorite part of the trip. We stayed in the suite which was bigger than most Korean’s house. It was nice for her to run around and have some space.
This hotel is close to all the action. You can walk to the park, restaurants, and shops.
The staff was real friendly and helpful. They speak English well enough. I can speak Korean so it wasn’t a problem for me but my husband is white so it was nice for him to get things done without my help.
I definitely recommend this place. My parents live in Song-do and they were so impressed that we are going to get them a room for my moms birthday.
I love this place. Book it people!!!!

Overall service was outstanding. Hotel building has korean traditional archtecture style. Room was clean and spacious. Minibar in the room is free for guest. Every room has small private front yard for having tea. One thing I really liked was breakfast. Number of food was not that many but quality was good and you can find Korean food as well.
4.7
Whilst the external appearance of the hotel is amazing, there's no assistance outside. The main hotel door is so heavy and try opening it with a couple of heavy cases in your other hand! Maybe getting through the front door is a fitness test???
The interior of the hotel room is poor. The room furniture is so cheap and worn out. It would have been better to fill it with IKEA products and replace it regularly.

Room and atmosphere were acceptable as 5stars hotel. However, welcoming and breakfsst should improve.

I wanted to show an old style living with modern comforts. So decided to stay in this hotel. It is a bit pricey but it was well worth it. We stayed in deluxe suite and it was beautiful. My daughter was so taken with the hotel, she didn't want to leave!

An amazing experience... the suite was so aesthetically pleasant and comfortable. Complimentary minibar was a nice touch. Great location -- there was a beautiful waterside walk area right next to the hotel.

Staying at Gyungwonjae was unique and memorable experience.

Undoubtedly, unique and excellent set up where you can experience the traditional Korean atmosphere. The lobby is a bit disappointing though. It's quite a pity that their services do not match up with the great facility maybe because this hotel is still very new. The hotel is close to the Incheon airport but there's no other tourist attractions nearby at this stage. For breakfast, decent variety of Korean food and a limited choice of Western style are provided. Liked the free minibar and Nesspresso coffee machine.
