The bedroom floor was a tripping hazard . The flooring material was popping up as I was walking. There was not enough people waiting at the tables during breakfast. We had to leave without breakfast, and the staff did not care about giving us at least a loaf of bread.

The proximity to town and the beach were awesome! The staff were very kind and helpful, no English so good if you want to practice your Spanish. The pictures make everything look fresh but the sea elements have weathered the property, and although we’ll maintained it is looking a little tired. I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Pros: Friendly customer service. Very friendly. Amazing view of the beach, AMAZING!! Very quiet and relaxing. The food is amazing. Cons: The dogs in the neighborhood will bite. Be careful. You can take the hotel taxi (for a fee) into town. However, it is only a 4 block walk. Dont risk it. The dogs are dangerous. I was shown, as an option, a “cleaned room”. The room had a used condom wrapper on the desk, I choose another room. I cleaned my room. There were insect parts on the floor. I visited during the season of the crickets. They were everywhere, even on my bed. The cricket season is not the fault of the hotel, but they can invest in better sealing the rooms and doors. Between the bugs and dogs, I checked out early.

Stayed for two nights and had a great time. The property is clean and the service is top notch!!! I highly recommend the hotel. It is a place where one genuinely relaxes. The food is delicious and excellent. Private beach with rooms with ocean views. One cannot go wrong staying at this hotel. I wish them the best of luck and prosperity.

The hotel was infested with crikets that got into our rooms and we couldn't sleep, the safe didn't work, the patio door lock was broken and the food selección was limited. Yo add insult to injury I wasn't afforded a refund for the second night even though we did early cheok out and requested both in writing, vernabyy in person and through travelocity.com and the application. Don't stay here, go somewhere else, not worth the aggravation.

This is a nice hotel on the beach of Mancora. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and provide great service. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and the food is good and has diverse options. A place to come back

Great staff. Great breakfast. 1st issue was with our family room, which was above a garage that became very noisy in the early morning. 2nd issue was the infestation of red ants in the room. Staff used raid the the remove them which made the whole room stink and it only solved the issue for 12 hrs. All of this is in my opinon unacceptable at $200 a night.

Not at all as presented in photos Very tired and worn out buildings and furnishings. Beachfront was completely eroded away and had been for at least a year or more. Rooms were dank and musty.

Nice hotel in a good location not far from the center of town. Nice pool. Great view of the ocean. Nice friendly staff. Restaurant food is just ok nothing special, but nice that it is there. Overall really nice couples stay. Hotel could use some renovations.

the hotel is so pretty and the location is perfect! The pool and the beach are right outside your hotel rooms - Mancora beach is literally 5 minutes away from the hotel and vichayito beach, las pocitas beach and punta sal are 15, 10 and 25 minutes away respectively. The food at the hotel is great and it is so well locates you have other options around you as well! I have to talk about the hotel staff. They are kind and helpful. They made me feel like I was at home. Don’t forget to tip your servers/hotel staff. They go above and beyond to make sure that your stay in Mancora is divine.

Brilliant hotel , setback from the party areas but was nice to walk and stretch the legs to the main Street in the evening , very clean and the staff are very pleasant . Spent 10 days here relaxing and really enjoyed it

The sunset from our balcony was picture-perfect. We saw frigate birds flying by and even saw whales from our balcony! We woke up to the sound of surf. IT was very relaxing and private.

Down one dirt track, turn right and down another dirt track, past an unnerving hostel with the banner #neversleepalone Avoid Mancora it is overrun with tourists. There were so many problems at Suites del Mar that I got sick of going to reception. The mosquito door did not work. All the outdoor seating was torn and stained. Little to no security. The curtains did not close. It was SO NOISY. There was never any peace. There was no hot water. The jacuzzi did not work. The electrical sockets were loose and dangerous. Breakfast was not worth getting up for.

We came for one night and stayed for four. Nice spot and a great price right on the beach. This hotel is very clean and quiet yet still within walking distance of downtown.

Nice rooms. During a short stay of nearly 2 days the wifi was out nearly the entire time and then even worse there was a power outage specific to the hotel only (not in town) that had the power going in and out for hours at a time for nearly 24 hours. The owner did not take responsibility or offer some compensation only to say it was the power company's fault and offered us a refund for the remaining nights. The place was ok but I felt the photos are deceiving and make the place look a lot nicer than it is. If they fixed their infrastructure issues it could be a nice place but right now for 330 Soles a night is a lot of money to have such problems.

We stayed at three hotels an this hotel beats them all! Receptionist Welcomed us very very friendly, the rooms are great in comfort an quiteness, easy access to the beach an good security throughout the night. Restaurant is great. Hotel Staff is always willing to help an assist you in anyway.

This hotel effectively double charged us. Charged me 50% on my American Express card and asked me to make full bank transfer (which I did as per their instructions). And then, they went ahead and charged the guest, a friend of mine, despite the fact that I transferred US$235 to their bank account as per their message.

Hotel location is lovely and staff are great. Rooms are very hot at night though and there is a lot of music from nearby nightclubs etc, so it's difficult to keep the window open. A beautiful spot but, for that reason, not the most restful.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights, but left early due to problems with room. The double room I paid for is not in front of the sea, as advertised. Its a rather small room, on top of the front desk and garage, hence noisy and unconfortable. The room is located next to the water pump so if you plan to rest, stay away from this hotel. Hotel facilities are poorly maintained so dont guide yourself with the pictures. The hotel was fully booked so they couldnt change the room. However, they did reimburse me for 2 nights but did not offer any help to book a room in a different hotel. Overall very disappointed.
