Awesome place to stay and great view

This is our 2nd time staying here in 1 month , we absolutely love it and have already booked our next stay with them .

There are no steps to the beach. You have to climb over huge boulders. Close to the beach. Close to town.

can't beat the view!

Very quiet, close to the lake, nice beach. You can walk, swimm, go canoeing. It's quite close to shopping and restaurant. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed

The owner is very polite will stay again in the future. The beach is right at the property so not far to go swimming

Location was perfect between Oscoda and East Tawas. The beach was really nice, just needs a safer access to it. The grounds need some attention; the trees and shrubs should be trimmed to be able to walk through the common areas and the curb appeal is greatly needed as well! The accommodations were appreciated, quaint and tiny, but it served us well and we enjoyed our stay.

Property is right on Lake Huron with a gorgeous view of the water. Access to the beach meant climbing over some big boulders which was a bit challenging. The property around the cabins needs to be weeded and trimmed since it is very overgrown. Cabin was relatively clean. Appliances were clean and worked fine but were very old. Big black ants were found in the bed. I had to hunt for and wash enough silverware for dinner for four. Probably won’t go back

Yes, it is an older property, but it was clean. The view was fantastic and is not too far from the town. We stayed for 5 nights as we were visiting family in Oscoda and we could not beat this price. The two bedrooms in the cabin are small but allowed our son to have his own room for privacy. The gentleman who runs this property was very nice.

Very peaceful ❤️

Not a bad stay. But it was pretty cold at night and there was no heat hooked up. Windows, I believe, are original. Couldn't open. Screens where tore and falling out. Exterior needed cleaning up a lot. But inside was clean.

The view we had was awesome. The property was unkept, and overgrown. Our cabin was nice but very dated, bring your own pillows because the pillows provided were flat.

For the price it is not what you would expect...it needs work and tlc. Quite dirty...there was hair in my bed. The best feature is that it is right on the lake and you can see the lake from most cabins.

Beautiful location and view. Love the cozy cabin feel, we cooked most of our meals and socialized with other patrons. Very clean Beach for wandering along.

When we arrived at the property and was given keys and the cabin was very musty smelling and we had to open windows to air out the mold smell. The beds were filled with sand and it was good we had our own pillows and sheets and blankets. The coffee pot was used and not washed and coffee was baked into the pot. We had our own coffee pot to use. We requested another roll of toilet paper and they said they only provide 1 roll per stay and then we have to buy our own toilet paper. The only good thing was the beach and the view. I will never book there again

On the water convenience’s and close to town. Cabin was not the most clean

The website states no one on property to contact before you get there but when you call the owner is on site so that was confusing. Online check out says 11 but in the cabins it says 10 . Everything was clean except the bedding looked verrrrry old and there were some stains on the blankets. Other than that the owner was very helpful/friendly and the cabins were clean. Beautiful view of Lake Huron ! Nice private beach! Will definitely go again!

Nice little cabins to stay in. The flowers and trees were a little overgrown making it look crowded, but it was a nice place to stay. Beach area was very relaxing & plenty of chairs & lounges to lay out. You have to walk down a little way to use the ladder to get down by the lake or just climb down the rocks. The owner was very pleasant!

My best friend from out of state and I rented a cabin at Scenic Resort for a weekend to relax and catch up on each others lives. We booked the cabin closest to the lake because my friend has missed the Great Lakes.
Our cabin was clean and the owner was very friendly.
The only issue we had was that even though we probably could have thrown a rock into the lake from our cabin, we could not access the lake due to the jagged boulders that we assumed were being used to help with erosion issues. We had hoped to spend time at the water, so we walked to the ends of the property thinking we would be able to get the water's edge with our chairs, but the rocks were wrapping around the property and we could not reach the beautiful, sandy beach.
We would not hesitate to rent there again if the lake was accessible. But we booked next year's get-a-way at another cabin in the same area.

Very close to the lake, beach not crowded at all. Proprietor didn’t know we had a dog. Since she was small and they weren’t crowded he let us stay with her.

The best thing was the view of Lake Huron. The bed creaked and was up against a wall so hard to get in and out of. I guess I shouldn't have expected more, but I did. Disappointing.

The property is dated and could use some updating and maintenance. Not enough parking available and a full time guest was rude when they had to park in the grass through no fault of mine. The host was phenomenal and friendly but could spend a few dollars upgrading features and get a better price per night.

The cabin we stayed in was filthy. Binds were broken. Smelled so musty . It was the worst place we have ever stayed at. Will not go back there
