Big , clean room. Starting to look a lil beat up.

This was a very nice hotel. The front desk was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early. The location was great.

We had stayed her in 2022 and the hotel was very nice, clean, fresh, etc. Our visit in Sept 2024 was a totally different story. The hotel looked run down, like it wasn't kept up with. The bathtub drain was clogged and the only person at the hotel was the front desk person. She tried to fix it, but couldn't so we where forced to just deal with showering in a filling tub, which is disgusting. There was no other maintenance person on the property and it showed by the way the hotel looked. The pool was closed "for service". The floors where dirty, garbage cans around the property where full and the outside area with the firepit was over grown and messy, nothing like the pictures on the website. I heard it was recently sold, so maybe the new owners will give this property the love it needs.

This hotel charged me twice. I booked through Expedia and charged my credit card again. The credit card was supposedly use for incidentals. I called the next day and said they’re sorry to charge my credit card instead of them charging Expedia. 1 week and half has passed still waiting for them to reverse the charges. Beware of this hotel charging you twice.

We had never stayed at this hotel before, but really liked it. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. There were several nice restaurants within walking distance.

The gym's facilities are largely unusable and most are labeled under repair. And the sound insulation is very poor, and the air conditioner is very noisy at the bedside.

Ownership of the property changed midweek. Instantly smelled cleaner with more evident cleaning visible. Dislike that the Today show blares all morning long in the lobby. And weirdly enough, is piped to the elevator lobbies too. I don’t need to listen to ads as I wait for the elevators! Both treadmills broken..unimpressive! Overall felt this stay was not as pleasant as previous stays.

A bit far from campus, but worked well for our needs

Great accommodations. A lot of dining options close by and within walking distance.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good and had lots of options. I was not happy with a parking fee as this was not disclosed and there was no need to charge because parking was not limited.
The location is out of the way if you are just traveling through the area on the interstates.

The suit was big enough to host my work group and we asked the manager if we can use the lobby for an interview. He agreed to let us use a corner of the room, by the fireplace.

An overall good hotel stay. Breakfast was on par with usual hotel food. Pool was well kept and big enough for everyone to enjoy. The room was better than I thought it would be which was nice. We had a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and full dishware set which allowed us to hit the grocery store for food and save a bit of money not eating out the whole time. Definitely appreciated that! Just a few details that brought it from 5 stars to 4. The shampoo bottle pump was broken and there was some small water damage on the walls in the bathroom that were kind of gross. The first night there we went out of our way to be gone from the room to allow room service to do their thing and they never made it to our room. After that first night we just put on the do not disturb and didn’t bother. Overall we were happy with our experience and would stay again!

This used to be my favorite place to stay, but really beat up from my last stay 2 years ago. Lobby still nice. Staff is nice. I was on 4th floor, hallway carpets are stained, my room door would not close or lock without being pulled shut, the couch has big
marks and stains, sheets are clean, but are really worn. Bathroom wall by shower, drywall is crumbling at the bottom from water damage. Just lacking maintenance, Hilton needs to spend money to refresh rooms. To be clear still better than many hotels in town especially towards I74. But used to be a 5 star hotel for me, now it's a 3

This is the first time that I stayed in a hotel that has an additional charge of $6 for a parking fee. I understand if it’s a big city like Chicago or LA but it’s in a middle of nowhere. The room that we stayed in was clean, has a big fridge and regular plates/utensils were provided. Though the carpet was still damp when we came in. They have a sliding door to the bathroom, and in our room, this door was very hard to slide. The flush in the toilet was not very strong as well. If I have a choice, I will not be staying here again.

This home2suites was dirty, the carpet of the room smelled so bad and they had left food in the drawers of the kitchen drawer. Obviously the cleaning lady didn’t care much. On top of it all, they charged us $6 for parking! which was never said and there is a huge regular parking lot available, this is not New York. Abusive fee, Not planning to go back there.

The only things that could be improved would be
1. to keep the swimming pool more clear (it’s cloudy and though I think that’s probably chemicals, it looks murky
2. Firmer mattress option on beds

Pool water was murky, breakfast was frozen solid and a non working microwave was provided. Also they charge you for parking.

Great location if you are coming to visit UIUC. The studio has fridge and microwave. Breakfast included. Personnel was very nice and welcoming.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Wonderful fire pit to relax and chat!

Not impressed.. Our room was dirty with dust piles where it had obviously not been cleaned for a while. Greasy hand marks on the doors. Bathroom door was also broken. Also our tv had been broken, with the cord ripped off the back. Elevators looked like they had been vandalized. Pool water was very cloudy and the pool wasn’t very big.

Couldn’t get into the pool on arrival. Closed early and large group were in when we got there and loud. I got up early and swam at 6:15. Water was great and staff brought towels after I called there were none.
Room was clean and comfy. Loved the counter space and room size. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t amazing and no conditioner but thankfully I had some in my suitcase.
Kitchen area allowed us to clean our water bottles and not have to eat off of styrofoam or paper.
Breakfast was just good. Not horrible but the orange juice was watery. Good enough that everyone found something to eat so no stops for food until lunch.
Would return if in the area again.

We like to stay at Home 2 Suites when on the road for their amenities (kitchen and extra space). This location had this but was well used including the beds. The kitchen was stocked poorly (no liquid dish soap, no serving spoons, no stove top only microwave, one sharp knife and one fork) I was able to get a few of these items from the front desk but would think it should be already in my room. On top of this, we had to pay $6 to park. Seriously?

Nice place for quick overnight. Furniture and carpet need to be cleaned.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the beds in my room were extremely uncomfortable. We only had a few channels on the television. Overall, i was not satisfied with my stay and probably would not go back.

Close to campus with lots of dining options within a short walk. Grocery store is next door.

Hotel had really friendly staff, but beds and pillows were so uncomfortable!!! Also. You put a great blind to block the light from outside, but the switches were all lit up when you turn all the lights off, so kind of goes against the logic of a dark room.
Also. The bed linens were so cheap and didn’t even fit the beds. Two people in the bed, it was terrible. Couldn’t even stay comfortable.
Shower (room 204)…please fix the shower head. It was totally out and exposed piping. Just saying.

The facility shows some age, only one elevator.
No water in the exercise room, no washcloths

Great family friendly hotel. We were there for 2 nights for a volleyball tournament. It was in a safe area and close to the University of Illinois.
4.0
Very nice room. Staff was courteous and friendly. Too much noise from partying college students.
2.5
This hotel is very well set up for long term guests! Has a warm and inviting indoor pool. The public space is well furnished and comfortably spread out. Great grocery market with an outstanding deli and salad bar short walking distance.
