Cozy little inn a short stretch down the street from the airport. My room was reasonably clean, but I did find a stain on one of my pillows. The staff was very friendly; the receptionist helped me carry one of my heavy checked bags up the stairs, and I had a fun conversation with one of the servers at the Indian restaurant downstairs. Speaking of the restaurant, definitely try it out if you're a fan of Indian food, because I thought it was good enough to go back again for lunch after I ate dinner there the night before. The walls of the inn are very thin; I could hear my neighbour chatting on the phone while I was trying to take a nap in the afternoon.

Glad that they keep a clerk there until the ferry arrives. It came in late. Had a reservation for a room and because other guests arrived before we did (unloading order of the ferry) I was asked to take a room with one bed instead of the room with two that I had already paid for. No compensation given, just a “thanks”

Arrived late and we were greeted by the manager, Bernie, who was so lovely. Super smooth and easy check in. First section of first floor did smell strongly of cigarette smoke but each hallway is separated by a door and the area we stayed did not smell like smoke. Room was large with a kitchenette and a comfortable bed.

The staff at the Airport Inn was friendly and accommodating. Though when you walk into the hall ways the smell of smoke was fairly prominate . The rooms do not have air conditioning which would be fine if you stayed there in the winter months. You definitely hear other traveller's in the hall way. For those that take the early morning ferry they allow you to go into the breakfast room the night before and help yourself to any breakfast items you would like. Which was great!

The Airport Inn was one of the better values in Port Hardy. Not the best location, but if you came by a vehicle, then not really a big deal. The onsite restaurant was very good.

Will not stay here again. Taps in both the tub and bathroom sink ran constantly. Room was marginally clean; balcony wasn’t clean at all. There was an ashtray full of cigarette butts (in a non-smoking room) from a previous guest. We stayed because of the price; we’ll spend the extra $ next time.

Bernie, the manager who checked us into the hotel was really good. Unfortunately the folks in the unit above us were noisy until about 12:45, mostly going in and out of their patio area to smoke. The smell wafts. There wasn’t much soundproofing between units and we heard a lot of other voices. It was, however, close to the ferry terminal exactly as advertised and relatively inexpensive, ok for one short night.

The airport inn was convenient after the long ferry ride from prince rupert. Ample clean towels and fresh clean sheets with good quality pillows. The building itself.is older and thus a bit musty - you can smell old cigarette smoke in parts of the building. The air conditioner in the room leaked and the fan in the bathroom was not working but it was a decent place to stay for convenience. Most important to me is staying in a clean hotle/motel room and it seemed to be very clean which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
