they have a card system that opens the doors I found myself on the street 5 hours before my plane because the card no longer worked. I had to wake up the entire building to collect my belongings because no one was there to solve the problem. the horror

Great service from the staff and clean rooms and bathrooms. Noise level was also almost non-existent at night. Only negative had nothing to do with the hostel. There was a bit of construction in the area in front of the hostel but the hostel has no control over that.

Would recommend. Great spot to walk around to all the little neighbourhoods, the employees were very very friendly and helpful. I booked a solo room and it was beautiful and I was super impressed especially considering the price.

Bed is super comfy and the room was pretty clean and big. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Great facilities with a nice kitchen and free coffee and tea. Highly recommend!

It is a cheap place to sleep, and has a free coffee machine. Those are my only pros... They close the kitchen during peak morning hours and they clean the bathroom during peak morning hours when everyone is getting ready for the day, pretty silly to me. The room is very small and uncomfortable, not even able to open the door fully or stand in the room without being in the way. It's like a narrow hallway in a morgue, with such narrow entrances to the beds. Haven't experienced anything like it and hope not to again. There's also construction outside that blocks the sign and makes it impossible to find the entrance at the moment. Overall, it was a cheap room but I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. You could spend a bit more and find much better value.

Receptionist waited for my delayed late arrival @ 23:00. Her friend helped me with bags up to the 4th floor. Next day, receptionist gave me a map & I was able to navigate walk, metro, bus & train nicely. I was able to dry wet clothes out my window I loved the coffee machine. Guests were respectful & tidy. Good experience, especially with new friends gathering in my private room comfortably. Terrific bar next door, Canil showcases its own brew with other excellent choices, and with live music by 2 Brazilian guitarists/harmonica!

Our room was in the second building, not in the same building as the reception. We were lucky to have 5 rooms on our floor sharing 2 full bathrooms and a kitchen. No issues with waiting to use the bathrooms, which were very clean. Only issue was that our room was right above a bar, which was very loud when the live band was playing. Outside of the live band (i think just for weekend nights?), the noise from the bar isnt too bad. It is an old building, so soundproofing isnt great, we could hear every door slam and footstep. Heard from the other guests who stayed in the main building where the reception is that they werent too pleased with the noise levels, probably cause there were more people staying on that side. Also there seemed to be more rooms, but only 2 showers and 1 toilet for the floor.

It was comfortable. There are many high-end shops in the surrounding area, so you can walk home even at night. There was no elevator, so be careful if you have plans.

Very nice, very clean. I stayed in a single bed room - there was no air con so be prepared to use a very loud fan …. The other disadvantage is that some of the guests like to slam doors multiple times in the middle of the night. But other than that this is a pretty decent place, and I was really happy with the location as well.

Really nice hostel about a 25 minute walk from the centre. We stayed in a private double room; couldn’t fault it really. A small room but considering we were mostly out during the day it wasn’t an issue. Slightly annoying but out of the hostels control is that it was opposite a hospital and could be noisy but it was generally fine. The staff were lovely, and everything clean!

I recommend this hostel. Ideal location and central to the city. Make sure to che k out the conveniently placed Canil Brewery next door and the family run cafe where you get an espresso for 0.85c …unreal. Love Lisbon!

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. We had a private double room, which was spacious. There was no aircon, which might be a problem in the summer. Bathrooms were clean and never had to wait to use them. The rooms have high ceilings and was quite echoey, so found it quite loud, doors slamming etc. Be aware there is building work currently going on outside which woke us up one morning. Would stay again.

Our stay at Green Heart Hostel in Lisboa was NOT great. At first it seemed okay, but when we were chilling in our beds the first night my boyfriend looked at the floor and it was roaches. We got moved to another room that they called an " upgrade" because it had a balcony. Fast forward to the balcony being under construction and the workers coming at 9:00 AM waking us up. Last but not least, the second morning when we woke up in our new room it was FLEAS biting us. So don't come to this hostel if you don't want some extra pets.

Our stay was good value and everything was in line with our expectations. The shared bathroom was spacious and nearly always available. The room was also spacious and clean. We needed good WiFi as we had to work a few days, it never let us down.

I stayed four days in the hotel. the single room was very adequate and comfortable. the shared bath and toilet was clean. the hostel was quiet and peaceful. However, the street can be noisy since there is a hospital across the street and a bar under the apartment. However, generally, I strongly suggest you to stay because I had good times in the hostel.

Francesca was great english speaking very helpful and full of recommendations helped me figure out how to get out of the door it's a little tricky for someone from the States having never used the type of door lock before. I had a wonderful cup of hot chocolate upon my arrival and hot shower and nice comfy made bed to sleep in Thanks Green Hostel! Ate at the Cresca steakhouse pub next door and enjoyed my meal servers and clientele immensely. In a good location too.

As the pancakes are done and placed on the table they were cold when I was gonna eat. The internet worked well. Very good location for visiting (walking) touristic spots.

Well located and clean. My issue with this place is the lack of personal lighting and shelf space for each bunk bed. There's not even a chair or a hanger to put your stuff so people have no option but to leave their stuff all over the floor. Breakfast was included also. Was decent except the pancakes were cold and bland. Problem is this gets very boring after the first day and you cannot cook your own breakfast (scrambled eggs for instance) because they block the kitchen with their pancakes.

Is nice hostel and friendly Personal..just avoid the room next to breakfast room because is so loud around midnight and early morning..is not the fault from the hostel but the guests don't respect another guest and stay til late and make some noisy..but would be really helpful when they put a rules that's in public area must be quite starting from practically hours..

Nice breakfast provided. I love the pancakes and youghurt! Clean and spacious room and bathroom. You can also cook in the kitchen. One point to note is that there is no direct elevator to the room if you’re carrying heavy luggages. You might live in another building from the room you’re checking in!
