Across from the centro market and very well situated.Clean and relatively quiet.

The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The room is on the small side, but still enough space for your belongings to be spread out. It's pretty quiet at night, always felt safe. It's walking distance to everything!

The staff was very friendly and helpful which really made me enjoy my stay even more. It was also near two supermarkets which made things more convenient.

Internet never worked and TV didn’t work either. Very noisy in the morning and evening. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Good location in front of Mercado de Comidas. Basic hotel. Nothing fancy.

Overall good stay. Difficulty with wifi access. Very hot in room even with the fam provided.

The rooms are very small with no window. The fan did not work so they gave me a portable fan that had to blow right on you to feel it. Very stuffy. This is a typical $10 a night room that they charged me $44 per night. Very bad value

I reserved for my husband and I paid for it but when he checked in they told him to pay again because the pay wasn't in the system.

I got there at around 9pm, there was a bar next door with loud music. nowhere to get food, the nice girl at the reception told me about a taco stand 2 or 3 blocks away. Tacos were not that good but I was hungry, neighborhood was ok. Room was small and clean, took a while for hot water to come out of the shower. Bed was ok, left early (4am) because of a flight and the taxi was already waiting for me.

A great room in Centro! The bed was very comfortable and we loved being able to watch the street around the market from the balcony and the rooftop terrace. The staff was friendly and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The hotel is in a very convenient location, we were able to walk basically everywhere we wanted to go in Oaxaca City.

liked the location which was across the street from the famous mercado of meats. you just walk outside the hotel and take 30 steps and you are there at the mercado.
what sucks is that next door is a bar and they stay up late in till the night , playing loud music till the sun comes up.

I have stayed twice. Once before Covid and just now again. The place was updated some. It could use fresh paint in areas like stairwells. The beds were hard. It was quiet and the roof top patio is great. The location is super and front desk staff very helpful.

Everything great didn’t even missed the air conditioning, the fan work great 👍,,

The location of the hotel is great if you like to eat in mercados. The Mercado 20 de Noviembre is right across the street. The room is small but very clean. Abundant hot water. The bar next door makes for noisy evenings especially if you are near the front of the hotel.

I'm not picky but this room was very hot, no A/C, only a fan. So it was not pleasent at all.

So we needed a bed toilet and shower for the night and it met those needs. Room was very clean. Our tv didn’t work but we were only there a few hours. Room was small but not a problem for us. The biggest drawback was the room was hot and you cannot really open windows and maintain privacy.

Very disappointing, I’m sorry to say. At the very least, we wanted internet access in our room and HOT WATER. Check-in was a little weird as we had to remind them twice we needed a key. We stayed on the top floor and shared a common area that had only two chairs and a small table (there is plenty of space to occupy more guests but it’s taken up with a lot of construction materials and waste). The TV was situated in a corner above the bed (awkward). But, ONE positive: I asked for a king size bed and it was comfortable.

The place is fine perhaps reflecting what you get for the money. The rooms are very small, much smaller than they appear online. But the location is great ...Just across the street from the market in a few blocks from the Zócalo

Great staff and location, but we stayed at a room next to the street and were completely unable to sleep because of the noise. We left after 1 night

You get what you pay for... staff are very nice but this might as well be a hostel... rooms are very hot no AC and beds are made out of stone

The room and hotel was incredibly clean - couldn’t have asked for more there. The bed was fine, nice and firm. But unfortunately those are the only positives.
The room I was in was off the street. It gets beautiful light during the day... and night. The room was literally never dark. There are no blinds or drapes to protect the room from the intense sunlight at 6:30am-9am, this turns the room into an oven during this time. Also the street light is at the level of the window so that lit up the room all night as well.
The room was also incredibly noisy from the bar below and the parades that happen nearly every day (no exaggeration- our guide said there’s at least 1 parade in the city every day- because there’s no permitting process- you just do one if you want.) the noise goes on all night, super loud parade music with non stop drumming. On our last night the parade finished at 11:30pm, but the bar noise only finished around 3am. I didn’t get any sleep before my 4:30am taxi pick up.
I suppose you can overcome some of this with a room farther from the street. I almost went this route, but those rooms are super dark with one 1 crappy lamp and they felt depressing. I opted for ear plugs and a mask which worked okay well all but the last night. Also, the WiFi only works if you’re on the first floor or you’re right above the front desk on the second floor.
If your Spanish is poor, you’ll have a hard time, the staff doesn’t speak English.

The staff is very helpful. They helped us get around town, gave us local tips, and booked tours for us. The rooms are very clean. Kind of a tight fit but great for people traveling together who dont mind close proximity. The location makes it really easy to get around town, although it can get noisy because of the busy street. Bring ear plugs and eye masks if youre a light sleeper.

The bed was very comfortable and there was free coffee. The bathroom had been redone and there was hot water.
However, there was wifi only in the lobby, not in the room or terrace. The location is in the market area, which I don’t like.

Ask for the room on the top floor near terrace. This rooms are brighter than those on the lower floors and more quiet. On the top floor is also big beautiful terrace with lounges.
