It is important to realise that this hotel offers basic but good value accommodation right in the heart of the Medina. It is more like a hostel than a hotel so if you book knowing that you won’t be disappointed.
Rooms are small, basic but perfectly adequate for what you need.
I stayed here on two occasions, once in a room with a private bathroom and once in a room with shared bathroom.
You cannot beat the location, right in the heart of the medina just off one of the main souk streets. The WiFi was good although be aware it may not stretch to all of the rooms. It has a nice roof terrace with good views across to the main Mosque.
The staff were fantastic, really helpful, and nothing was too much hassle for them.
I had already booked my trips prior to arrival but if you haven’t they will be able to help you find good trips at a good rate. At the same time as I had already booked mine they didn’t try and push tours on me at all.
One improvement I would make is in relation to the private room I stayed in I would recommend they look to reseal the electric sockets into the wall as that was a bit off putting.
Overall though a great budget option for people staying in Marrakech and I would definitely stay here again.

Cheap and cheerful and near main sites. Lots of eating options.

Lovely clean rooms with rooftop terrace. Very safe and in the heart of marrakech near the famous Jma El Fnaa square so no need for buses or taxis to the souks and square

From the moment we arrived we were happily greeted by the staff member at the bureau, he shook my hand wished us Good Morning and took our details with a smile on his face. He then showed us to our room and made sure we had access to the WiFi, he then told us where all the facilities were and how to access the roof terrace.
The room itself is what you get. I paid £11 a night for this accommodation. The room shows its age, the bed is a bit hard and there is only one plug socket. I paid £11 a night for this room and it was purely a base for our stay here in Marrakesh and for that it was brilliant.
Noise carries through the building, and it seems to be a favourite for backpackers and those also looking for a cheap stay for a night or two, so do bare in mind that you can hear every conversation going on outside in the foyer and there was also a dawn’s chorus of nesting birds every morning up on the rooftop terrace - which I didn’t mind.
Upon leaving our stay here at Hotel Aday, again the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Making us aware of the late check out time, calling a taxi for us to the airport which was a fixed price of 100 MAD. The staff member who checked us out even took us out to meet the driver!
Overall, great stay at this Riad. Some fixtures could do with updating and one of the toilet doors doesn’t fully lock but again - £11 a night!
Honestly would book again if I was passing through Marrakesh!

Basic rooms but clean and very safe. The property location is convenient for exploring the city. The taxi from the airport dropped us off within a five minute walk. We got there very late (after midnight) and the managers were extremely helpful and responsive to calls and texts.

We only used the Raid for a few hours to store our suitcases, we would never stay in a place like this, best suited for backpackers, especially since you have to share a bathroom.

The location is good for walking around the market square and accessing restaurants. There is no A/C and noise travels as though it is in your room. The property needs maintenance; you have to hold the shower head as the fixture is broken, door handles are falling off. There was one plug in the room but so far from anything your phone just dangled while charging. Often no toilet paper available; no clean towels.

You get what you pay for kinda. I travelld in winter and the room was on the ground floor, right infront of the lobby. All the noise from the lobby could be heard in the room through the late hours. The room had no heating provided and because the rooms are made of tiles, the room was basically an ice-box! I'd give the place a 7/10 but my experience was definitely a 5/10

We booked in advance but upon arrival the owner told us that it was full and we were accommodated in Hotel Amal next door. The room there was about the same, small sized 8m2 with a sink but enough for one night before heading to the airport. Since all rooms face into the hallway, you can hear people walking and talking downstairs. The owner of Hotel Aday however is very friendly and helpful. He also offered to print our boarding passes which was great. Both hotels are very central and good value for the price compared to what other hotels charge in the area. The alleyways to get to the hotel can seem intimidating at first, but they are totally safe even at night.

The hotel is in a good location and seemed clean, and the staff member was friendly. Unfortunately I was not able to stay as they did not allow my bike in the room or offer a secure place to lock my bike inside. I found a different hotel across the street which had no problem allowing my bike inside.

Excellent location, mins from Jamaa Fna, look for Les Premiere Restaurant and Snack Toubkal (fab breakfast 2.30 dirham), alley in between, go down for a min taking a right when u see a sign for Hotel Essoursia. Hotel Aday is to the left down this second alley. Really quiet. Had room 15, family room with sink for 25.10euro a night(2adults, 3 kids). Shared bathroom but no issues at all. We stayed here two nights as wanted to experience the Medina/square. Our hotel, Labranda Rose Aqua Park, a four star hotel, for the other 12 nights we are in Marrakesh hadn't such a warm welcome, in fact a stressful check in and no WiFi in the rooms. Hotel Aday WiFi was excellent. Room was warm but a lovely warm. Had been looking forward to enjoying the roof terrace but unfortunately no views n no real family seating. Snack Adam a pizza place is fab on the alleyway (two pizzas, four chips and large water 8euro) and a little shop next door for drinks/milk. We brought a travel kettle for own tea/coffee. This is a great value budget hotel so be realistic in expectations, its spotless clean and safe and beautiful decorated doors.

I originally booked a single room with a shared bathroom. The single room was essentially a tiny jail cell in the foyer of the hotel. It would have been horribly noisy and stuffy. I say "would" as I paid the extra upon arrival and got a larger room with a window and bathroom which was very nice. Great location and clean.

No hot water the first two days (but do-able). Bring your own roll of toilet paper. Very friendly staff, 5 min walk to main square. Free wifi. Would stay there again.

The location is Right in the middle of the medina, so if thats what you want, perfect. If you want a unique experience, and are feeling adventurous, sure go for it. Its probably a lot like a lot of the other low budget riads in the area. It was fine, but if you want to have the comfort of a normal, tourist hotel, book something in the new town. Its really not bad or dirty or anything. But its more run down and a very very small room. My room had just enough space for a double bed crammed next to the wall, and a tiny sink. Nothing bad about it and if you want the experience, and are in a budget, go for it. But if youre in a vacation and want a nice place to relax and put your feet up, this is not the place to come.

The hotel was fine. It was in a perfect location right in the medina. I went in January and there was no heating whatsoever and we were freezing cold unless we were under the blankets. The wifi was verrrry poor. The host was very awesome and very helpful though.

Simple budget accommodations inside the Marrakech medina. Internet was good, room clean but very small & basic. Staff is friendly and provides recommendations for exploring the city and a map on request. If youre used to backpacker style accommodations, this is a decent spot for exploring Marrakech.
