I like that there is a waterhold in front of the hide. Every day, our group will see a lot of animals especially elephants (lots of them) at the waterhold enjoying salt deposit. Each villa is nice. I got an upgrade to suite and really love it. I highly recommend booking the suite. I stayed in Villa no. 9, where it is located at the fence of the property. I can heard and feel elephants walked passby the Villa at night. Love love it. Staff is amazingly nice, professional and attentive. They made sure that we were comfortable but you dont really feel them hover around you. We were there in Winter but were comfortable in the room as they have electric blanket (there are no heaters in the room and it was cold even we were from NY). Munkey (the general manager) is funny. He really cares for animal. Our guide, Peter, is very good spotting animals. We saw elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetah etc. The coordinator worked directly with our driver to make sure that the pick-up and drop off was seamless and went without any problems. Thank you for taking good care of our group. Hope we can return in the future.

With wonderful experienced safari guide, we were so happy to see a lot of animals including very rare ones like painted dogs, cheetahs, lion hunting and so on.
And in the evening at the hide, many elephants came so close and I was just breathless!
Only one thing which I wished to be better was a wi-fi condition. But other experience was too good to cover that.

The place has a very good and convenient location close to the Hwange National Park. The best thing about it is a small water pond where elephants gather. I would suggest to go for the all-inclusive package as it means you can have as many safaris and park rides as you want and it is all included. The staff was very good. Their staff Jamie is fantastic, she was very welcoming and friendly and helped us organize our time at the lodge. Peter, our park driver, was also very good. We did not appreciate the bad information Ivory Lodge gave us regarding how to reach them - they advised us to fly from Harare to Bulawayo Airport, which we, unfortunately, did. Instead it would have been much faster/easier to fly from Harare to Victoria Falls Airport. When we realized this, it was too late to change our tickets and we lost considerable amount of time commuting. This was a big mistake on their park.

Ivory Lodge is perfectly situated off the main road and close to Hwange entrance. Ivory offers a personal and comfortable experience. The Hide is totally wonderful with elephants, giraffe, Cape buffalo etc within breathing distance. The Safari guide, Zebbade, was patient, very informative and tracked lion prints right to a kill site where we respectifuly observed the balance of nature. The staff and food were excellent and we enjoyed the luxury of dining with the other guests. The intimacy of this small Lodge give you a personal quality experience. We really loved the porridge with Baobab fruit. Thank you Colin and all the staff for a trip of a lifetime experience. Rosy and Audrey from the UK
