An older motel. Sink outside of toilet and shower area, a plus for us.
4.1
The room was clean. Had good amenities. The refrigerator was not the greatest you could turn it for 2 hrs then off for 8 hrs, no other choices. The lower level had a little plumbing issue but was handle in a reasonable amount of time. Over all I would stay here again.
4.1
Room was in poor condition. Bathroom sink was scared and dirty. Not worth price.
4.1
Room was very clean, maid service every day. Don’t park under the trees in the back, the birds “painted” my jeep overnight and could barely see through windshield and had to take it to car wash.
4.1
Long hair left in tub, on the floor and in drawer with towels. Only upside was they made bed up daily. Air conditioning quit working on second night. Short had a leak spraying out the wall. Ran out of regular coffee and no ice bucket was ever delivered.
4.1
Convenient location. Very good rooms with everything we need. Comfy bed.
4.1
The hotel is older, but very clean and comfortable, and within walking distance to food and shopping. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The air in our room was not working and they quickly moved us to another room.
4.1
4 night stay. Very convenient location. Value for mony. Very friendly staff.
4.1
The man who checked us in was there again the next morning and again the next night and morning. He was not the owner. A hard working gentleman, very nice, he made sure we got a ground floor room as requested.
4.1
Customer service was great and price was great but the AC to the room was terrible. Overall experience was good and the Moab Diner right next door was great! If you need a cooler room for a good sleep I would look else where. If you can stand a bit warmer room then you’re good!
4.1
It was a nice room for the price and parking near our room was easy
4.1
Could have used a light switch and an outlet by the bed, otherwise everything was good
4.1
Very clean for an older motel. Pet friendly and has a neat little sports equipment and doggy washing area. Located right next to a river/ walking path. Access to ice.
Expedia was a bit misleading - it mentioned breakfast provided.
We arrived at 4 am....an unexpected delay and they had an electronic kiosk serviced by a real person to check us in and create room keys. In the check in area that were extra toiletry supplies and information brochures.

This modest hotel is in downtown Moab, so lots of walkable dining/shopping. The room was large and clean, with all hard-surface floors. (which was good because the whole area is gritty with red sand). The hair dryer didn't work and the floor lamp had a burned out bulb. We stayed three nights, and the first day the maid did not come. When I went to the lobby to get fresh towells, I told them. The next day the room was cleaned and the hair dryer and lamp were fixed, so they did respond well to my requests. Clean-quiet-low priced.

upgrade room in a motel.

It was simple and clean. Good location. The AC worked, but made irregular noises.
4.1
The room was very clean and has microwave and fridge. The location was convenient to restaurants, gas station and stores, walkable to everything. There was ice machine too which was a bonus. We brought an ice cooler since we were going to Arches National Park. The only thing that could have made it a perfect stay was the coffee maker, it was broken. Other than that, ot was still an excellent stay!

Close downtown, quiet Nice room adorable and afordable price
4.1
Spacious room and clean. A/C was really working hard as daytime temperature was almost 100. Really our only issue was the noise of the A/C unit which ran continuous all night. Everything else was perfect.
We stayed one night at The Virginian Motel.
4.1
Incredible location. Property is a bit older but the rooms seem to have been remodeled well.
4.1
Nice big room
4.1
Shower not working properly. Very low pressure. Not in a pleasant location. No elevators.
4.1
Checkin was quick and easy
4.1
An older hotel that has been updated. We enjoyed it. It could’ve used a few more outlets, and I wished they would have raised the shower head during the remodel.
The virtual check-in was different, but worked well. We’d stay there again!

Everything was great, except for artificial intelligence being used in the office
4.1
Mostly comfortable and adequate

Best place to stay in Moab
4.1
Great hotel, with everything walkable distance, bike stand and connected to the bike path in Moab
4.1
Very reasonable price and great location
4.1
Our stay at the Virginian was good. You can tell it’s an older Motel that’s been updated. The bathtub resurfacing was peeling off and needs to be addressed but the room was clean and very convenient to downtown Moab. The kiosk check in was a little awkward but not too bad. Overall I would recommend a stay here.

nice and cozy stay, very convenient place
4.1
Perfect location to shopping and dining. Clean. Picnic area was non existent
4.1
I needed to cut my trip short and leave one night earlier than my reservation. I didn’t know about the 48 hour notice policy for making changes/ leaving early. The room had a “chiller” not a refrigerator as stated in the description. Know the change your reservation policy before booking.
4.1
The outside needs updating. The room was good for an overnight trip.

Thank you

Check in was a robot, AC in the unit didn’t work and window wouldn’t open.
4.1
Ideally located in the middle of town, most things are within easy walking distance. I have stayed here many times but not in about 7 years, it has been considerably updated and improved since I last stayed. Kind of pricey, but most motels in Moab are.
4.1
Plug ins did not work, including the internet plugins. Electric plugins besides not working were too few. Only working ones had all other hotel equipment using them.
4.1
Faucets in shower and sink didn’t work well and were partly broken
4.1
There was no staff to check you in except the screen with a woman from the Phillipines talking to you. I wanted to ask some questions about the area and she didn't know where the ice machine was! Very disappointed that there was no staff to talk to. Impersonal. Area felt unsafe out back.
Will not recommend this motel. Will also post to social media as paid over $200 and should of gone somewhere else for less money and more of a personal touch. Too bad
