A wonderful modern but tasteful hotel in a great setting for the Alhambra. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Recommended .

The Aurea-Washington provided a great base for our short stay in Granada. I thought it might feel a little cold as part of a larger chain but it was lovely. Contemporary lines and fitout, and the room was a fair size (always a question with European hotel rooms which can be so tiny). Location is excellent being so close to the Alhambra; it is an easy walk down into the city, though at my age and level of fitness I preferred a bus back up the hill (or taxi). Though I managed to walk up twice in two days!

Fantastic hotel, the welcome and professionalism of the receptionist was really lovely. The rooms were beautiful with everything needed supplied. There was also a nice little rooftop pool and bar.

A good hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. Great location for La Alhambra and a walk into town. Breakfast very good. Pool and ‘gym’ a bit on the small side and a bit past their best. Probably more a 4 than 5 star property - but the room rate reflected that.

Great location to visit Alhambra . City bus stop right in front of the hotel to go to town center and other neighbourhoods (Albaicín ou Sacromonte ) . Room I had was well appointed but a bit small . Cleaning need improvement ( floor under the bed was very dusty) ...bathroom was well cleaned. Reception staff was friendly and responsive A good stay in all

Fantastic location, very helpful staff. Very convenient for visiting the palaces. I was able to valet park my rental car at the hotel and complete the tours.

A great choice if you are going to be visiting Alhambra in Granada… A short walk down the hill to the center of town. This hotel is amazing! Great rooftop pool/bar for relaxing in the afternoon.

This was a great hotel to stay in. However, if you plan on walking, be aware that this hotel is at THE TOP of Granada and everything else except for the Alhambra is down a very steeply graded "hill".

Only attraction is the Alhambra. Not within walking distance from town. Not good for walking around. Hilly area. Balcony is very small and enclosed by dirty glass.

Quiet. Perfect for a great night's sleep. Great value for breakfast and the best is how close it is to La Alhambra. Perfect for an early start of the day. 15-minute walk to downtown downhill. Do not underestimate the hills. Great exercise but not for all levels of fitness. The local bus stop is just a few meters away. The staff was very helpful in getting the tickets for La Alhambra at the last moment, informing the best ways and what not to miss.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean and pleasant to the eyes. Location was perfect next to the Alhambra and a couple of minute walk to the ticket office and just a quick taxi ride to the cathedral for $5 Euros. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The Aurea by W. i. is a beautiful hotel, close enough to the Alhambra to walk leisurely to it (about three minutes). It has beautiful surroundings and one could catch the City Bus tram directly across the street from it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We absolutely loved our stay!

When I stay at a hotel, there are certain non-negotiables: the bed has to be comfortable, and the room needs to be reasonably quiet. This room was quiet, no problem there, but the bed was terrible. I really don’t have any other complaints about the hotel, but if the bed feels like a board except near the edge of it, where it feels like you’re going to fall off of it because the mattress is poor, well, that’s a fail in my books. I gave it two stars because the rest of the hotel was fine, and the location very good, next to Alhambra. But if you don’t get a good sleep because of the bed, it defeats the purpose of the stay, doesn’t it?

Didn’t like instant Nescafé or lack of shower mat to avoid falling in slippery surface. TV controls awkward. Small beside tables. Breakfast buffet items all cold. Not what one would expect in a 5 star hotel.

Phone did not work in our bedroom. The toilet flush didn’t work but once reported that was resolved. We’d stayed at this hotel six years ago - the hotel bedrooms now look like they could do with an upgrade. The staff throughout were excellent and couldn’t do enough to help.

I stayed here second time. It is always perfect..friendly efficient staffs.great facility desayuno is decent for price. The best of all you are sleeping looking at Alhambra waking up listening to birds. 1 mins from the best resto.
