Great location and clean. There were coffee pods and a coffee maker provided. There was no oven/ cooker provided, just s microwave which created a different type of food experience!!!

This is really one of my worst experience, it is located behind a back door, entrance through a courtyard, you dont really feel safe. The 2 bedrooms are really small, the worst of all is the bathroom, its extremely tiny, the shower is totally blocked up really badly, felt so disgusting that the water built up covering your feet. The toilet is much higher than normal, I m 6ft, but found legs hanging in the air.The only reason I chose this apartment is because we could stay together as a family (and fooled by the pictures), there is not even a kitchen sink to wash basic kids stuff. The Apple TV remote was missing, the TV becomes useless. The property manager was not easily reachable, she was caught in meeting and could not pick call, was asked to email her. Refused to refund and let us move out.Last but not least, price was not cheap, there is not even the basic amenities there, really regret and should be better off booking 2 proper hotel rooms.

Esplanaden 46 is a great hidden gem - a nice-sized, apartment-style room on the edge of downtown. There were a couple of hiccups checking in, but those were due to the last-minute nature of the reservation (as it is managed remotely). It's a great spot and I hope to stay there again soon!

First, be aware this is NOT a hotel it's a private apartment on the ground floor or a building.
NO reception or anyone to help you, you are by your own; I say that from my own experience.
My husband and I were having problems with our email account, as we were already abroad. We call many times the owner, whom once in ten calls will pick up the phone, explained our situation and each time she didn't answer anything, not if she would be there to receive us or where to take the keys!
Her answer would be send me a text message! serious, she has no idea how intl calls or text works abroad. Or she would say, call Expedia. So, we did that also, many times. Expedia every time would inform us that everything was OK, and we just need to show up there, since Expedia was unable to talk to the owner as well. Once I had Expedia on my cell and Sophie, the owner on my husband's phone, and they couldn't communicate btwn themselves.
All the calls and stress added to our vacation was too much! Please know that we PREPAID our two nights, each night $ 400.00+!
I told Sophie many times, come and see our documents, see our passport, so for security you see it us, Nothing! She never came or apologize to us, completely disrespectful!
After waiting 3 hrs, tired on the street outside the building, a nice neighboor help us! She looked our docs, we gave Sophie's # and she called her. So, Sophie finally explained to her, the keys were just on the locked box outside the building in front the bikes.

We were away for the weekend with our 10 year old son, and was looking for some place central to stay.
The apartment was very local to the sigthseeing around the queens palace, Nyhavn and Strøget. we could walk around to everything.
The Apartment was a bit of a disappointment. Dirty carpet, plus it is very dark and have windows facing the smallest and darkest back yard full of construction mess and full view for other residents. There was a note about the construction work when we arrived, but had we known the extend of it, we would not have payed this much to spend the night here.

Very nice room, modern and clean. Extremely difficult to check in. No published phone numbers. After a long time with hotels.com representative we finally got connected. When we did they were very serviceminded and gave good help. Also the info we had on the room on hotels.com was wrong. Have since then been fixed. Do recommend it though. You need to be a family or friends that dont hide anything from each other, the sleeping rooms have open windows out to the main areas.
