An unexpected drive up to Newport landed us here … a little off the path of Newport but not too far and walkway from the crowds.
So serene and beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again

It's a beautiful location. Can walk or ride the complimentary bikes to the beach. Very quiet and tranquil. Staff was very nice. Nice free breakfast.

We have been visiting the Stone House annually for the last several years. We always look forward to our stay and every year it is better than anticipated. We can’t wait to return next year if not sooner.

Lovely place to rest & relax. Surrounding beautiful. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our home away from home. Only thing is, a bit of a schlepp to be a tourist in nearby Newport

We absolutely loved our stay. For those who are looking for bustling activities and a wide selection of upscale restaurants, Stone House is not for you. If you are looking for a serene, peaceful, and quiet time with an amazing staff this is for you. Stone House will truly clear your mind and appreciate nature.

Amazing huge modern room with walk in shower, deep tub, couch, fireplace, and closet space for a convention. But why would you allow the bed to be substandard?! It's the most important item!

Beautiful stone house, in a very quiet, waterfront setting. We stayed in a room in the Barn, which was very spacious and updated. Only stayed one night.
Internet was very spotty in that area and we kept losing connections while driving to the property and going out for the evening.
Continental breakfast was served, but we did not partake.
Overall a nice place, but definitely not worth the price that we paid.

Super nice stuff. Loved the fire place and smores in the evenings with the kids. Having bicycles at the property was a big plus as we could ride down to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stone House Inn

Great short stay and wished it was longer. Amazing room that has a lovely view. The staff really has a genuine love for this property, it showed through the attention and care. A nice little walk to a private beach and a short drive to a cute Cheese shop. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Idyllic is the word we use to describe this stay. The entire area is beautiful and the hotel and staff are great. We stayed in a room in the ‘barn’ which was entirely huge and enormous. The walk to the beaches is easy and worthwhile. The only possible con to recognize is the distance to sites like Newport, Westport, or even most restaurants since the hotel has a limited summer menu. However that distance also provides many benefits. We say this hotel is highly recommended.

Peaceful and quiet and slow and romantic. Would definitely stay again. We had a few hiccups. My biggest regret was not bringing our own beach chairs. At the price we paid my thought was that there would be no way that we wouldn’t have access to them, however they ran out and the two left were broken. Highly recommend they go to Costco and stock up on the 2/80 Tommy Bahama deal asap. Enjoyed the fire each night, smores. Looking forward to going in winter and hiding in a room with the huge soaking tub, glass of wine, fireplace.

The hotel was extremely charming, staff couldn’t have been more helpful and they offer a nice fairly large buffet for breakfast. Great place to stay if visiting Little Compton area.

Beautiful property but isolated area. Restaurant are 15-20mins away and property offering for food was very limited.

The Stone House Inn is a quaint inn with beauty and history, service and scenery. We went for a couple of days and couldn’t say enough about our stay. We stayed in the main house and our room overlooked the pond. The suite was large and the attendants were incredible. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The area is quiet- little cell service and just perfect for escaping life for a little while. We will absolutely be back.

The room was lovely & staff very nice. The areais secluded and gorgeous.
Be aware that the on site restaurant is not open in the summer.

One of the best properties i have ever stayed in. The main building has the unique historic charm. We stayed in a king suite, which is the renovated barn. It is very luxurious with huge bathroom. The breakfast options are limited, but they are freshly made. It is the view from the balcony which is worth paying the big bucks. Definitely visiting there again

We loved our stay at the Stone House. The bedrooms were very spacious, clean, the view to the waterfront was stunning.
It does not feel like staying at a hotel, feels more like staying at a cozy, fancy home, perfectly connected with nature.
They also had continental breakfast, which I was not expecting. It was just perfect, because they have freshly made pastries, coffee, fruits. Then you can go and drink your coffee on the dinning room, or a cozy studio right next door which is open for everybody or outdoors.
It was great. Highly recommend to pick this destination.
Thank you very much!

This was a very peaceful, beautiful spot and just a short walk to a very beautiful beach. Our fireplace didn't function the entirety of our stay which was a disappointment because that was one of the amenities that made us book in the first place.
