The hostel is near two major lines, you can go to the center of the city in15 minutes and the airport in 20 min.
There is a mini market downstairs that’s open 24/7.
Staff was nice and very diverse which made it a bit of a challenge communicating in English, French and even Swedish.
Other great idea was to place monitors so you can check screens throughout the hostel with schedules for transportation.
Breakfast was complementary for us but for 8€ you can skip that and buy something much better elsewhere.
What made our stay not so great, was the lack of consideration of other guests. By not cleaning after themselves when using the common kitchen and behave in a decent manner.
Or speaking way to loud after midnight in the common areas.

Compared to price the basic facilities worked well. Breakfast was sufficient. Like the name says, cheap and easy. Worked fine for me.

Hostel itself is a bit out of center so if you are tired during the day,you must travel approx.30 mins by tram back to hostel.Staff is very kind and helpful, i didn't stay in dorm rooms but double room with shared bedroom was good.you can use kitchen freely for cooking.toilets are probably smallest toilets i have seen,i hit my everywhere in toilets and showers.in double rooms floor, showers has transparent glasses,so for private showers you should go to other part of hostel.there is a book swap chance in hostel,so bring your book which you have finished to get a new one.activities are cool, there are game nights etc for socializing.but 8 euro breakfast seemed a bit expensive to me,if you want there is also supermarket downstairs,it works 24 hours.

All good.
In my opinion there should be rugs outside of the shower rooms and the kitchen, so water is not scattered all over the place.

Everything is on the rules. It's organised well. But what is lacking in some warmth between clerks and guests, which is made up for by the interaction between guests.
3.9
Cheap and functional

Great service at the reception. One of the cleanest hostels i ever visit, feels like they cleen 24h7.

It’s ok to stay for one night. The hostel team was very friendly and welcoming!
The bathrooms were really dirty and it was pretty closely so you couldn’t move sometimes.
You got some privacy in the room although there were a lot of people - but it’s gets very very hot at night.
3.9
No fan in room

A busy dormitory with lots of people, maybe not the cleanest nor most peaceful, but pretty much as good as could be expected from such. Served my need for one-night stop perfectly, and as an extra pleasure, there were pretty good shower and kitchen amenities, nice vintage-esque arcade and a bar, and happened to meet some friendly people there.

The stay was very good

Close to bus and tram. Mixup with a reservation and had to spend a night in a dorm with a very loud snorer

Loved this hostel! It’s easy to get there from the airport and it’s within walking distance to where Tuska festival is being held (the purpose of my trip). There a 24/7 supermarket right next to the hostel as well.
Room and bathroom were clean. Staff is really friendly. Had some trouble with the lock on my door and they were very helpful and quick to fix it.
The pillow on the bed could’ve been better but everything else was great! I would definitely stay here again!
3.9
Not bad if you’re in a pinch, the neighborhood is pretty far from anything you might need, and the refrigerators didn’t work.

Great hostel, definitely recommend. Easy to access all of Stockholm on the nearby tram

I had a bed in the 18-bed female room. The room had about 7 people in it when and when the lamps went off, everyone was quiet and you could sleep soundly.
3.9
The shared female room, where I was staying it was clean, simply & comfortable.
The hostel is just a few steps away from the bus & tram station, which you can use for the Center. Very important is that the public bus for the airport runs from there too.
The only thing, that I found “bad” were the showers. There was not a door but only a bath curtain, which make you feel uncomfortable while moving.

I recently stayed at the hostel and I have some mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the hostel’s location is ideal for exploring the city, conveniently situated near major attractions and public transportation options are excellent ( direct bus to the airport). Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, check-in process was smooth.
However, there were some downsides to my stay. The cleanliness of the hostel did not meet my expectations. Although the room decor was simple, which I didn’t mind, there was a thick layer of dust on the floor and on the locker cabinet giving the impression the room had not been cleaned properly for some time. A broken locks on a few of the bathroom stall doors were a significant concern for privacy.
Overall, the hostel has great potential, thanks to its excellent location and wonderful staff. I would suggest improvements to be made in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, adding some curtains to bunkbeds for privacy. I would consider staying here again as it is good value for your money and location is very convenient.

This is not what I was expected,
Hostel, renting trowels for 3 euro, selling slippers,
Breakfast, isn't a big buffet, just few things,
Example, jam, only one kind,
Juce in bottle,
Staff, are friendly, but I still remember, when one of the staff asked me if I have a breakfast coupon,
She was surly face, when I showed her my coupon, she smiled
Beds are so short between first and 2nd upstairs, you can't sit normal, should you, bend yourself,
Pillows are terrible, if don't add something underneath your head, it would be bad,
Anyway, I didn't think so I will back there,
Only if I see some changes in comments

Hosi and Cela very kind people they have good customer service.

Nice place to stay, even for a long time. The whole team is very welcoming. Most people are respectful of each other and the hostel has weekly activities. I definitely recommend it as the location is well surrounded by transport
3.9
The hostel is very basic, a bit worn and in need of reparations and improvements, but you get what you pay for. Considering the price, the value is ok and I would go back if I needed a budget option.
+The 18-person dorm was divided into smaller 2-4-bed nooks with walls, which improved privacy.
+In winter, during the week, it was pretty quiet. No loud parties and no queues to the bathrooms.
+Keycard access everywhere, including the lockers.
- The kitchen is ridiculously tiny for such a large number of guests. It's basically a short, narrow hallway no bigger than my own kitchen at home, and a handful of people is enough to make it so crowded that nobody else can fit in to use it anymore. Even with the hostel barely at 50% capacity, it was always crowded at dinnertime. I gave up on trying to use it during my stay.
- If your room is on the second floor, prepare for loud thumping sounds and vibrations against the ceiling from the third floor weight lifting gym. The noise started around 6 am and continued until late evening during my stay.
- The showers, taps and drains could use some TLC. Many taps leak, some drains are nearly clogged. The cheap shower curtains with stains, holes and mould make the 2nd floor bathroom look like a crime scene, even though otherwise it was clean enough.
- The beds creak, but this didn't bother me too much.

Was overall great

Kind staff. Reception at 2nd floor. Bed rooms, shower rooms and toilet at 2nd and 4th floor. Public kitchen 4th floor. Buffet beakfast service was good and worth. It will be better if everyone can clean by themselves after using the kitchen and not too loud after 11Pm.

Cama deixou a desejar, travesseiro ruim, colchão idem. The bed was not good, the pillow and mattress bad as well.
3.9
Easy check in. Twin room was tight but warm and clean. Shared bathroom which had plenty of facilities and clean. Shared kitchen seemed fine although I didn’t use it. Just needed somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights so was fine. Not fancy but seemed a good hostel.
3.9
It was clean, quite, good wifi service, and near to transportation, great stay :)

It is a good place to stay for one night. The kitchen seemed a little small for many people although i didnt need to use it there are many good dinner options around

This was my first experience with a hostel and I have to say it was very pleasant. The staff was friendly the place was clean, and as a solo female traveler I like me and my stuff was safe and secure.

Great stay and just like the name as good for budget traveler!

To much noise whole night cheap sleep management hot sign 11;00 pm no noise but still people were making noise slamming the door to get and get out even they did same with closet they didn’t care it is 02:00 am no manner , I felt never ever gonna go back in that cheap sleep hostel .

Staff were very helpful and friendly and the place was cleaned regularly. Transport links were just outside the door, alongside a supermarket.
Lovely little coffee shop close by in the wooden house district and excellent drinks and Russian dumplings at Pikku-Vallila round the corner. Would definitely recommend!
3.9
You should to improve to clean a little more bedrooms spaces
3.9
good hostel to stay, cosy and very friendly staff, the only problem was the state of the common kitchen. There were only 6 fires for several hundred guests and the sinks were had mold growing in the wood of the counters.
3.9
It has been a very good hostel, very complete and with all the amenities. Just the location is quite far from downtown.
3.9
Better than expected. It was affordable, the staff was nice and the availability of transit passes to go around Helsinki was very much appreciated.
That said, unfortunately the area surrounding the hostel does not have a lot of restaurants around, so you'd have to walk for about 15-20 mins to find an area that has a variety of restaurants.
3.9
This is a cheap place to stay, as the name implies. So I suppose it's not fair to expect too much. That said, it has a bit of a grungy feel to it, which made me uncomfortable. The bed was fine (clean), but whole place smelled a bit musty, and especially the bathroom, which is also the shower room (rows of toilet stalls on one side, shower stalls on the other). I enjoyed the breakfast, and it wasn't a bad price (by Finland prices). They do charge extra for a towel (3€ at the time of the review), so bring your own if you can. As their own pictures show, the beds do not have any curtains or other ways to make yourself not visible to others in the room. Each room (which can have lots of beds in it, depending on your booking) has a locked door that can only be opened from the outside by keycards belonging to those staying in the room, and that provides some sense of security and privacy. Lockers are available for storing valuables.
Overall, it was probably worth the cost. But I didn't enjoy the "vibe" of the place. If I'm back in Helsinki, I would see if I can find a cleaner, more appealing place to stay at.
3.9
We stayed in a private room and it was fine. The kitchen was too small/crowded to use.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
3.9
Taking into account that a hostel doesn't try to live up to the standards of a 5 star hotel, I really enjoyed my stay. I have rarely stayed in a Hostel which puts in so much effort with such good results, from staff friendliness, to cleanliness, to the key-card based locker system.
Obviously, if this were a five star Hotel, I would give a 0 star rating though... Other than staff friendliness and helpfullness which would still be excellent.
