Cheap! Maybe deserves 4 stars for that but i was a bit put out by booking the wrong inn (two with very similar names nearby) and needing wait till 4pm to check in

Front desk staff were not welcoming in their attitude. As the hotel has 13 floors and only 2 small elevators, it took extra time to move to or from our room. Breakfast was good and the staff were professional. Other locations of Toyoko Inn around Sapporo station are more convenient, seem newer, and better staffed.

Not a standard Toyoko Inn as I think it was a different renovated under the Toyoko Inn brand. It has all the usual amenities for the chain though plus some neat extras (all-day coffee service, Hokkaido milk with breakfast, etc...) Very easy access from Sapporo Station. Turn right at the exit near the Starbucks and just walk straight for about 5 minutes.

My room was smaller than the other Toyoko Inn and a working desk was almost no space for a laptop computer and a chair. If you have a car, this hotel is not for you. But this hotel is very close to the train station and just in front of the university, very good location.

Staff service was satisfactory as always. But, I was told that the availability of my room was 4 pm due the booking was via the Expedia. Perhaps, Expedia should review this arrangement with the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel on two occasions. I found the hotel was in a handy place for transport and shopping. Comfortable rooms ok for one person . Breakfast was quite nice and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The location is pretty near to Sapporo JR station, approximately about 10 mins walk depending on your pace. The hotel is very decent. The room is small but is comfortable. The breakfast is pretty basic but is nice though.

It was a fair experience staying at this hotel. Just 5 mins walk away from JR Sapporo station north exit, it is very convenient. The hotel staff are most friendly and helpful, and have no problem with communicating in English.

The lady at the front desk told me I couldn't check in yet because it wasn't 4pm! She even knew I had waited at the lobby for over four hours, yet she insisted I had to wait for four more minutes. The hotel's complete lack of flexibility is unbelievable. The room is incredibly small.
