I really enjoyed my stay. This isn’t a 5 star resort but it’s a great bargain for a highly enjoyable stay. The staff is friendly, property beautiful and well maintained, and on certain nights there is even live entertainment by the pool. The pier in back of the pool also makes for a beautiful evening walk. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Wonderful stay!

Property is good and convenient but kind of dated. Rooms are big but smell mushi. Didn't get housekeeping service on my 3 days stay.
5.0 / 5.0
The property is a little out the way so I suggest getting a rental car. Parking is free. WiFi is free. Housekeeping happens daily without request. Staff is so polite and accommodating.

Should include various tea options for those who are not coffee drinkers. And possible upgrade of audio-visual equipment.

Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Property was old and could use some updating but clean and well kept

It was comfortable and accommodating

I loved that I could step out on to the beach directly from my room
2.5 / 5.0
The room was clean except for the floor. We asked several times to clean it better but we always felt dirt under our bare feet. We didn't even go to the beach as we went there mostly to shop and visit the restaurants.
The coffee maker had 2 packs but no sugar or creamer.
The food was good but took a while to come out. The bar needs a MUCH LARGER VARIETY of liquor and beer. Especially more bourbon and local beers.

The stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Very peaceful and the food was great

The property was beautiful and a great location. The rooms were not very nice. Our toilet wobbled, there were missing lightbulbs, shoddy craftsmanship on the tiles, walls, fixtures etc. the paint on the doors was scratched up and the light switches were dirty. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable and there were no extra bed linens left for it.

A little out of the way but quiet. Restaurant was very good and reasonable price. Nice pool and beach.

The property is very nice. The room, the grounds, the pool, the Driftwood restaurant exceeded our expectations. Shuttle transportation to and from Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to, was very convenient. We had a wonderful vacation.

Overall very high marks. Food options were limited and not great. Staff is helpful and value is very good.

The floors were dirty. It was very low-budget construction. The shower had very low water pressure. They did not clean the rooms during our stay. Check in process was difficult bc they made several mistakes, moved us around 3 times and refused to at least give us a free upgrade. Food was decent, except their “fresh” catch of the day, which was wahoo, was stale.

Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Disappointed that shuttle service did not run on Sundays.

Liked how out the way the hotel was not in the middle of the rush. I liked the golf course next door and good view to look at in the AM. Good and drinks from the bar was good a little pricey but expected.

Quiet and clean; off the beaten path. Great staff! Great place to stay if you want to relax after a full day. Rooms where clean, food was good and the common areas are well maintained as well.

Not a good value. Very noisy. Limited menu. Beach was terrible.

This was a very reasonable option to visit they Cayman Islands. Clean rooms, nice staff, pretty quiet and empty. If you stay here I highly recommend you rent a car to get to the nicer beaches.

Was my first time in the Caymans, stayed 4 days, 2 of which were here, i left because the hotel's facilities and ALL amenities were CLOSED! I was lied to, unable to use ANY of them, and wasted 2 days. The hotel was clean, off the path which was fine, but do not list all types of fun activities or amenities you do not have. THEN, the hotel manager who was nice, or lied, said he could not refund due to me booking through hotels.com and to reach out to you. I just did, your customer service "Pablo" states he can not. This is absurd, and other than a free bagel & coffee from the restaurant that was NOT the hotel, you both are working together to justify inaccurate listings.

The resort was wonderful, off the beaten path and quiet. The private beach was a little disappointing because of the grass and seaweed in the water. Beaches on the ocean side of the island were much better. But if you just want a nice reasonably priced place to stay, Grand Caymanian Resort is perfect.

Its not a local resort. Its a holiday inn. I was flabbergasted when I showed up at the false advertising. Its nice for a holiday inn, but its still a holiday inn and I hate cheap chain hotels like that. The restaurant was great but the property location is just terrible. Taxis hate going on this part of the island because of all the potholes but luckily they have a free shuttle that takes you to the nice part of the island. The beach at this hotel is also disgusting. Just stop advertising this an anything but the holiday inn so people know what to expect.

The hotel was very clean, staff-friendly, and kind. However, I did not like the transportation of the towels, pillows and linens. On three different occasion I encountered the housekeeping staff transporting with pillows and towels in their hands. One had the pillow and sheets clutched under the arms, another had a stack of towels piled up against the neck and head, and the other piled up in hands. I would rather the sheets and towels be transported in a bin rather than wrapped against workers' bodies. Moreover, there is an elevator to transport them. I suggest that management get bins for transporting pillows, sheets, and towels from laundry rooms to bedrooms. That was my concern. Otherwise, I had a pleasant stay.

It was beautiful there and everyone was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at Grand Caymanian for a week with family. The property does not have great signage because it is attached or part of a holiday inn; so all you see are holiday inn signs. The restaurant/ bar on site is very good ! We loved Kim and Colin. Rooms are spacious and clean. Convenient parking on site if you rent a car (which we did). The hotel does offer free shuttle for nearby locations (like the supermarket or 7 mile beach) which must be booked at least an hour or more in advance. The grounds are well maintained and very pretty. The pool towels are so small though. They really should invest in better sized towels. The room
Had a nice balcony overlooking the property. There is a beautiful dock to walk out on and take great pictures and even swim off of. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Love that it was on a golf course.

Beautiful resort the only downside is that the beach is not swimmable, so you can hang out in the sun, tan and relax but not swim.
Rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond to make you feel super comfortable. Keep in mind there is only 1 restaurant on site which is pricey but they do offer a free shuttle bus from 10am to 5pm Monday thru Saturday to take you to Georgetown where are more options to eat.
Overall great experience

For those that are not so interested in the busy resorts on 7-mile beach, this is a great choice. The pool and restaurant/bar are situated in the center of the resort and look out to the bay - very nice. Our suite was clean and everything was in working order. The free shuttle was very helpful getting us to 7-mile beaches, downtown Georgetown for shopping and to areas to catch the island bus system.
