Staff was terrific. Facility was very old, units very small. Decent breakfast.

Vintage is the word I would use. The staff are kind and helpful.

About the best thing I can say for the room is it was sleepable. Two things stand out to me and why I give it a poor rating. First, the towels were literally sandpaper. Yah, they absorbed the residual wetness as I came out of the shower, but beyond that, they have to be the worst towels I've ever experienced in a hotel room. Second, (and this has to do with convenience) the wall sockets were worn out. We couldn't get any of our recharging devices to stay in the wall.
If the hotel management/maintenance improved just a few little things, it would have been a decent stay. As far as it goes, I can say I was at least able to sleep. Sheets were clean. Bed wasn't the best, but I was able to sleep on it. For the price, I'd say you could probably do better, but one of the problems was this was peak tourist season, so costs for all of the accomodations in Libby were highly priced. There are definitely better places in Libby, but they weren't going to be cheap either.

It's an older hotel, but it was ok for one night. Loved our greeting with Shadow, and the cookies were phenomenal!
4.4
The bed was very soft, too soft.
4.4
The staff were all exceptioally polite and prfessional. Everything was clean.
Only down side was the lack of outlets for electronics and lighting in the room could have been better.
4.4
Very nice place good breakfast
4.4
Even though there were plenty of outlets, when you plugged something in, it fell right back out. So it was hard to keep phones charged
4.4
Friendly staff, great breakfast hours, quite rooms, walking distance to multiple dinning options
4.4
We have stayed here muliple times and has always been a pleasant place to rest.
4.4
Very nice room and staff. Really quiet.
4.4
The front desk staff friendly, free water and coffee bar. The breakfast was average for free breakfast. The room was clean and the place located in close proximity to restaurants and golf course.
4.4
The hotel its self just seemed outdated. We hated that they used brown towels. Other than that it seemed okey. The breakfast is pretty bare. I would just go to antlers next to them.
4.4
Ok for last min desperate accommodation ...
Beds need an update, towels are rare" a/c is tepid at best... breakfast is minimal, etc....
For the price .. move along'

I really wanted to have something great to say about this place after reading other reviews. I knew I was staying at a budget friendly place, not the Ritz. However, upon arrival & checking in I was greeted by the young man and a sign about the dog, the large dog. No problem, I love dogs. However, the dog was tied up in the office and while checking in, all you could see was the huge piles of dog crap on the floor of the office! DOG CRAP
I proceed to get checked in for my 2-night stay, trying to put the vision of the office behind me.
I get to my room, open the door and am hit with the hot, moist smell of wet dog , it was clear they shampooed the carpet as it was wet, it was 96 degrees, and the room air was damp with the smell of dog mess. I do not mind dogs, but this was to the point of being unlivable.
Since there was no window to open, I propped the door to the hall open in aide in airing out the room.
I went for a walk, came back and started to look for another place to stay, It was late, so I grabbed my pillow and blanket from the car. I stayed one of my two nights. I packed up and left the next morning. Dog friendly is fine, but this was too much. My room should have never been given to a guest to stay. And I love dogs, but please walk your dog if he will be greeting guests, as to have to stand there looking and piles of dog poop while one checks in, well, it is unacceptable. If looking for a place to stay in Libby, MT, there are other choices, they MUST be better.

We have stayed here many times before and will again. The breakfast is very nice as is the 24 hour coffee. It is kid and dog friendly. Within walking distance of restaurants (if they are open) and a grocery store.
4.4
Didn't spend time there much as I was site seeing but staff was great. Showed up and smoke detector was beeping but manager came and replaced battery immediately. Would definitely stay there again. Manager also recommended a great little drive thru coffee shop called "Bearly Awake"

This an older hotel but is very clean. The breakfast offered had the usual items but on a smaller scale. Breakfast hours were 6:00-11:00 so there was no rush to finish. The only problem was the lack outlets to plug in phones. We had to use the surge protector on the tv across the room.
4.4
Simple, clean, bed was comfortable. Self serve and heat up on breakfast but enough there to have a meal. Would stay here again.

It’s an old motel with bare necessities.

It’s an excellent place to stay for the price . Very clean and well organized.

We stay here during hunting season and will keep coming back. The staff is great, and it’s awesome to have continental breakfast all hours since we are up so early to hunt in the mornings. My only complaint is that not all rooms have been updated yet, so one year we’ll have a nicer, newer room, and another year an old room stuck in the 80s. :) These things do take time and money, but sometimes it’s a little frustrating since pricing is the same regardless, and the difference is pretty noticeable. Still, I feel it’s a great place to stay for the amenities, location, and comfortability!

Room was nice as well as the staff and the 24/7 breakfast bar is a great option.
