We transferred to different rooms over the course that we stayed there due to different issues. The only good thing about this hotel are the staff.

For the price paid, it was THE BEST hotel I have stayed at in the Philippines. Real American comfortable mattress! Real American feel pillows. Heavy thick comfortable comforter and blanket. Freezing cold air conditioner. Water so hot you can’t fully open. Useable excellent cable tv, with English option. HBO! Kettle. 2 glasses, coffee cups. Complimentary tooth paste and brushes/nice smelling soap. Large towels. Excellent shower space. Great for disabled or handicapped individuals (bench) large shower head and also wand. Bidet Shopping/grocery (save more) in the same building. Palawan money changer downstairs. (Although valrica gives better exchange rates) Near Florida bus terminal. 50 yard walk. McDonald’s and kfc within stone throw. 7/11 beside Florida liner. (Super convenient location) tricycle or taxi on site. Refrigerator and freezer available for use but not in room. The negatives, it was little flying bug season… non biting though. Internet wasn’t working for our stay but it was due to an auto accident (uncontrollable) finally 500 push key deposit.!!! Absolutely, worth expedias price, or even walk in price for that matter! Loved my stay!

I have been to many islands and hotels in the Philippines. I am an experienced traveler here! Other than the internet not functioning this was the BEST hotel I have stayed in at a $26 usd price! Things you absolutely don’t get in a Manila hotel! A quilted thick blanket. Kettle, hot water shower, super soft king bed (great mattress) large room, security and police EVERYWHERE! SAFE… not like Manila where you NEED to be on guard EVERY public place to protect your phone or gold. Snatchers are rampant because they work in coordination with the barangay (police) for payment…. Santiago is a really nice town! You are safe here and the police are respectable! They also treat foreigners equal.- meaning not dual prices for foreigners vs locals. Completely recommend this hotel….. best I’ve seen at a lower end price! If you are near Santiago… don’t miss this jewel! OVERLY satisfied!!! It’s about time Expedia! You have done very poorly lately! Very poorly!

The first room had no window. I moved rooms. The entire floor (all rooms) had just been treated with insecticide. I could not breathe and starting coughing. My throat burned. The staff told me to wait a few hours and it would pass. I immediately checked out and went to another hotel. “Non refundable”. It was better to lose the money than endanger my health.

First time here and will continue to stay here in the future. Check in was smooth and easy, and very professional. There’s a 500 pesos deposit for key and will be return upon check out. There is a list of available breakfast if it’s included in your stay. I chose spamsilog, it’s basically spam and eggs, portion is good and tasteful. They bring the food to your room. I only took photos of the food because the room photos are the same as the website. There is a 24 hour security as well. Parking during the day can be tough, just tell the Secuirty you’re checking in and he would most likely have you park next to the hotel. After 8 or 9pm the parking lot is wide open. The room itself is nice and spacious. There are no windows so leave the ac on for air circulation, it could get stuffy in there. The bed was very comfortable, I passed out once I hit the pillow. The tv reception is great with plenty of channels. The WiFi is good but not sure if it will slow down during the day, I just notice it’s fast early in the morning. There is a door bell for every room so don’t be alarm when you hear it.Nearby is a SaveMore grocery store attached to a small mall. There is a money changer as well if you need that. The exchange rate is higher than the one inside SaveMore, (you’re welcome). There’s a McDonald’s inside the mall and there’s a 24hour McDonald’s at the corner (can’t miss it) for those who have late night cravings. A newly built KFC (yay) and if you keep walking along the side of KFC
