Resort is very nice and well taken care of! Got upgraded to ocean view room unexpectedly which was awesome! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beach was great! There were 2 pools, bigger one was much smaller than what the pictures made it seem. Although a family resort, felt more like a couples resort, we got weird eyes the whole time as our kids played in the pool. My only actual complaint was the last night we were there, there was a wedding and a sweet 16 party. 3:00am-4:00 had grown men screaming in their rooms and the 16 year old group running up and down the halls banging on the walls. Called front desk and all I got was “yeah there was a wedding”. Overall: hotel was great. Clean, friendly/helpful staff - free cookies everyday at 5:00 were SO good. Complaints were small pool (more of a couple resort vibe) and not controlling or caring about obnoxious behavior in the wee hours of the morning.

Beautiful resort! Very clean. Staff was friendly. It was right on the beach. They provide 2 beach chairs. Complimentary bike rental as well. Can’t wait to plan my next trip here!!

The food quality lacked tremendously. There should be an adult pool area only. Too many children running around at both pools unsupervised. Beach area was rocking ans not inviting. Hotel needs live entertainment.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was all very kind and helpful. Everything felt new. The service outside for towels and chairs was so convenient. We had lovely stay.

The food was great, room was ok. Not a fan of barn door bathrooms (also missing a vent/fan). It was somewhat loud hearing other guests in the halls and above. Beach was nice but chairs were old with no cushion. Also charging 25 for an umbrella is a bit much… most staff were kind but some seemed disgruntled or something. Communication was pretty decent. Valet folks were nice but charging us more per day than a visitor was odd it should just be included… food at the drift was all great, the steak was awesome. Drinks were ok, bit small and not as strong for the price. Not sure why beach drinks were nearly double. Biggest issue was renting out the ocean pool to a private event while we pay for access to those areas…. I dont pay for others to reserve for private events. Was quite annoyed with that. The pantry of water and cookies was a huge plus. No need to bring water but we did not realizing that was available. Could have saved a trip for those. Decent stay but probably not returning. Just not a fan of the private events and business folks everywhere. Wanted a nice beach resort relaxing place vs that. But it was enjoyable for the most part. Cleaning staff were very nice. Towels not always fully clean though. Some had stains…

I have been to Drift restaurant several times but this time I thought my husband and I would stay a few nights. We had a lovely ocean front room. But the bugs were so bad we couldn’t hang out on the balcony long. Our room was very used so a few touch ups needed to be done and painted. The air conditioning blasts right on your face when you are laying in bed so that was uncomfortable and a throw blanket would have been nice. The staff we experienced all around the property was very nice. I do feel like for the price of the rooms and the resort fees you should not have to pay extra for a beach cabana or umbrella, I was very happy my husband and I had our umbrella in the car.

Im a fan of this resort. This is not the first time we stayed there, BUT this time, it was not a pleasant stay. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and unfortunately the A/C in the room was not working properly. We went out for dinner came back and the room was warm. I tried lowering the temperature but the compressor would not kick in... the fan was on, but it wasn't getting cold. I went to the front desk and couldn't find anybody. I then called the front desk and they asked me if I had the balcony door closed and the A/C wouldn't work with the door opened. I obviously had the door closed and the thermostat down to 62 but the room was still warm. This was at midnight, and we were tired, they eventually said they would give us a new room, but at that point we just wanted to sleep. Next morning I had asked for a late check out and they said ok, but then i got a text message stating check out was at 11. I then again asked for late check out and the text message stated they were unable to give us late check out. So we packed our bags and headed down to the front desk. At the front desk they said they had me down for late check out, but we were already packed and ready to leave. Poor communication. All we were offered was a drink voucher after spending $390 for one night. Not very happy. This resort is amazing, but this time it was not a pleasant stay. Disappointed

I fell in love with this property it’s everything I was looking for quite beautiful great food and the staff was excellent. I even got to see a baby turtle go into the ocean. I am coming back I already booked again.

Loved the pool at night, and the ability to take a stall on the beach in the morning. The room was nice, but had not been mopped well and the bathroom had some spots. The bathroom door had no lock and no exhaust fan. Rastaurant food was ok but sitting outside was a mistake as the table was dirty and water was served in plastic cups.

Resort claims to be pet friendly however failed to tell us that there would be a $100 charge per dog per day. We unhappily paid Only to receive a text notification while we were having coffee downstairs that if our dog barked, one more time, we would be asked to leave without refund. Our dogs Rarely bark. They were never left alone at night only long enough for us to go down and have coffee And if anything they Bar wants, which could’ve only been heard from the hallway as the rooms are well insulated for sound. We checked out early and found a place that was truly pet friendly!

I was charged twice with no regard. Heather was extremely nasty and hung up on me. Very disappointed by the new ownership and staff as a local resident who frequently stayed at this beautiful facility. Not to mention to notice of the electricity looking as if it was working until you realize there was no light in the bathroom and the stay had to end early due to heat exhaustion inside the facility. Worse birthday ever!!!

Hotel was very nice. Grounds, beach, pool area are all very nice. Staff is profession, polite and accommodating. However there was a power outage at 4am and there were no lights in the the bathroom and no A/C in the hotel restaurant. Upon check out at 11 we told them that we were unable to shower in our room because of this. They credited the people in front of us the resort fee-$40. We were not given that same courtesy and denied after we asked for it by a very busy front desk worker. We understand that they had no control of this weather related incident, but we also were charged for accommodations that were unavailable to us.

This is a beautiful property with many amenities. It's very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly & accommodating. They have a little kitchen area on each floor where they stock water and ice packets free to guests. They put free muffins, breakfast bars & fruit there in the a.m. & freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. The restaurant is excellent. You can dine there or order food to pick up or have deivered. They really cater to their guests' convenience. It was a lovely experience.
