It was a at home feeling. Helpful and friendly people. Didn't understand the check-in . Better direction needed to get there from train. Arlene Kornowske

We stayed on the 3rd floor. The space is clean and beautiful. It worked well for our family of 5. It was conveniently located to walk to pick up groceries for meals. It gets nice light in all the rooms. The only issue I had with this location is that when it came to pay the bill, there were a number of charges that were added on and not made clear when booking online.

This a fantastic, unique property. If you like old and interesting buildings with an eclectic mix of antique furniture this is the one. The beds were so comfortable and the whole place so clean. The owner was so helpful, little touches such as some food items, chocolates and fresh flowers just added to the experience. There is a coop and a couple of patisseries within two minutes walk. We were only staying one night on our way home from Italy but we all wish it could have been longer. We are a family of 5 and stayed in the duplex rooms which were incredibly spacious with a fantastic kitchen. Self catering here would be a pleasure if you were staying longer.

A memorable stay! Mme Regula the owner did everything to see that we were comfortable and happy. The hotel is tastefully furnished with antiques from the region and fresh flowers adorn the rooms, all of which make you feel like real guests in someone's home. The entire staff is polite and professional. Very centrally located. We will be back!

Newly refurbished. Very comfortable and will be able to cook your own. Recommended and I will be back for sure.

Friendly staff and a good central location. There are shared kitchen facilities and my room had its own kitchenette with some basic supplies provided which was really useful.

Not sure what to praise first. If the perfect communication which allowed us to arrive long after the standard weekend check-in hours, or the extremely nice lady who - despite being disturbed by the former - guided us through everything what the facility has to offer with a genuine enthusiasm, or the fact that there was much more than one would expect from simple "Studio, 1 Bedroom with free wifi and parking" label. Small yet fully equipped kitchen, variety of supplies that could be simply turned into a rich and tasty breakfast, vouchers for free entrance to the number of local museums and darn, even a free public transport voucher valid for both check-in and check-out days! In this light, the fact that the whole property was really good looking, both the public spaces and the rooms were decorated by lots of lovely old props while the functional part of the thing was secured by a sleek and modern appliances and the flower on the table was real (!) and beautiful somehow just matches the whole impression. If I'll ever happen to stay around Le Locle again, there will be no other option for an accommodation.

Nice little hotel in Le Locle featuring studio suites of varying degree of size. The suite I stayed in had a kitchen/dining area, bedroom and a full bathroom. With the exception of the bed which I found pleasant, the rest of the furnishings were a little spartan but quite adequate for what I needed. Breakfast is not provided but there are several bakeries within a very short walk and two small groceries also for any items you may require. The building also features a communal kitchen which appears to have adequate appliances and utensils and is kept clean.
The staff member that met me upon check in was very friendly and helpful and explained everything about my stay, reception is not 24 hours but there is a phone number just in case.
The town of Le Locle is quite small but there a few choices for restaurants with some reasonable food options. It is a quiet place which feels quite safe day and night. The railway station is about five minutes from the hotel and you can reach Le Chaux de Fonds, the nearest large town, in under 10 minutes by train.
Not much in the way of things to do in the town but it is a nice place for some peace and quiet or as a base for exploring the region.
All in all a pleasant stay and I would say well worth looking at if you need accommodation in this area.
