First time staying at the Ivydene
Very welcoming reception upon arrival
Easy check in
Very spacious, clean and fresh room
Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time
Only gripe would be we prefer a firmer matress but you can't have everything in life 😂
Will definitely book again as we are always in skegvegas

Disappointing from the start. 2 spaces only to park & empty but was told couldn't park t here. Was told we're on top floor so explained not poss. & was changed to first floor but room very small, shower trickled & barely warm. Bed most uncomfortable. Petty over breakfast. We left after 2 sleepless nights instead of 4. Will not be returning.

Very clean and friendly but room was very small and bathroom was the size of a cupboard and you had to sit on the toilet sideways.

Very clean and nicely decorated but our attic room was very small and restricted by the sloping ceiling. The breakfast was good and we found the place very good value for the price we paid. The location is perfect for access to beach and amenities.

This is a really good little b&b, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room we was put in was a little small but it wasn't uncomfortable. Parking was a little sparse with only 4 spaces but there is car parks only a few minutes walk away.
The center of skegness is just a short walk away. The facilities at the ivydene are excellent the breakfast was really good with the option to upgrade to a large for just £1.50 we were only waiting a couple of minutes before it was on the table, the owner does this all on her own, she is such a lovely lady, thank you very much for a lovely weekend. We will certainly consider staying there again when we next visit.

It was just amazing. Melina is the perfect host. Very friendly. Food amazing. Very covid safe, so felt really comfortable there. Bedroom lovely, not too big, ample room for both of us. Close to main areas, but enjoyed the walking that we did. Didn't use the car at all as we were so close to everything. Thoroughly recommend the Ivydene

The welcome was pleasant. The room was very small and the beds was underneath the stairs which made it very difficult to get in and out of. We rang the guest house the day before our arrival to let them know it would be about 8pm when we will be arriving as we was coming from Manchester and had to wait for the children to finish school we arrived at the guest house at 8.10pm put our bags in the room and went down for a bar snack as the kids was hungry only to be told the kitchen shut 5 minutes ago but could buy crisp and a drink at the bar as we was tired we did buy crisps and a drink each which cost us almost £20 for the 4 of us......would we go here again or recommend it to anyone.........NO

Business trip for me so what is needed is something in the room to balance the computer on and good wifi . The wifi was excellent but there was no where to place the laptop. As most clients would be on holiday though generally speaking this would not be a concern. The owners were accommodating but hopefully I won't be working in Skegness again

The hottest bank holiday in a long time. Skegness was a hive of activity with a great family atmosphere.
The clean beach was packed with all age groups, but not uncomfortable. There was a great buzz around all the attractions.on the seafront.
The theatre and bowling facilities were excellent and great for all age groups and ages.
We found a great bar called Wolfies that served great food upstairs in a very busy ba/restaurant.
