I absolutely loved this place I rented the large room with the balcony and highly recommend that one. It was very eclectic with all of the art that the owners have collected in no travels around the world. Karen and her team are incredibly thoughtful and make breakfast to order just let them know of any dietary needs ahead of time so she can be sure to stock it for you!
Very clean and had a really fun eclectic vibe to it with lots of color and I had a guest that stayed with me one night and they were blown away and said it was the coolest hotel they have ever seen in Cape Town and they are locals that are from here!
Is the oldest building on the block with a lot of other high rises around it so it has a charm that is unmatched in the waterfront region of Cape Town.
Impacted by the load shedding and They are prepared for brown out and blackouts but bring your own chargers as well.
There was a washing machine in the room which was really nice and they gave me some hangers and a rack to hang them on.
They helped me get a ride from the airport that was 400 rand and very affordable and reliable driver.
They kept the place very secure and safe with a honesty bar where you can grab what you need and write your name in the book based on trust. I really appreciate places like this They are very hard and rare to find and I really suggest people who are looking at some of the bigger hotels who reconsider and book here.
Can't wait to return.

A wonderful visit. Karen, the host, went over and above in making sure I was taken care of. I appreciated her and the staff very much. They had many ideas and options for tours in the area as well, and an excellent driver that showed up to drive me as needed. I will absolutely return and already rebooked.
