Lovely property, very welcoming and attentive staff, comfortable bed, excellent room with balcony with a wonderful view, breakfast was superb! Staff met us on arrival and showed us around and even recommended a wonderful restaurant in Pompei for dinner. Note: Google maps sends you on a very round about route to get there. Try beginning your route once you are in the historic part of Pompeii. The route from there is quite simple.

Very nice villa
Helpful host
A little difficult to find the place by car since the road was blocked due to construction work.
Good breakfast

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Really close to downtown and the ruins. The room was clean. Nice breakfast.

The Villia Julia is a beautiful place. The room we had was very spacious with comfortable beds. The room was very clean and the bathroom had all the essentials. The property was very quite and secluded (definitely worth the drive up the hill). If you are visiting Pompeii I would definitely recommend this place. The breakfast was pretty good with the Italian staples (croissants, meat, and cheese) the orange juice was amazing though as it came straight from the Villia garden.

We loved staying at the Villa Linda! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Quaint little place with gated parking. One of our rooms had a huge balcony which was nice to drink wine on in the evenings. Perfect stay for our family.

Service was great. The manager/staff don't speak English but through the use of Google translate we got by. Very good people. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until 1am but owner/manager happily welcomed us. Breakfast and cappuccinos were excellent. Would stay again for sure.

Nice view of Mt Versuvius. Very close to Pompeii ruins, spent 5 hours exploring ruins. Close to downtown with lots of restaurants and local pastery shops.
Breakfast is elaborate with croissants, donuts, fresh boiled eggs and fresh fruits.
Paulutzo went out of his way to have breakfast and coffee ready by 7:30am since we had an early flight out of FCO Rome.

This was a very pleasant place. The host was outstanding. He welcomed us an hour later than we had intended, and made us coffee and a snack before bed. He did not speak English, but had a phone translator. The grounds are beautiful and have a wonderful view of Mt. Vesuvius.
The room was very clean. The bed was a bit hard, but we have found that most beds in Italy are harder than usual. The continental breakfast was fantastic.
One thing I would recommend if you are driving there is to get there when it is still light. We got turned around a bit and ended up knocking on the door of a private residence. Thankfully, they were very gracious and understanding.
I wish we could have stayed there longer.

I stayed at multiple locations all over Italy and this was my absolute favorite place I stayed. The hospitality and caring attitudes of the people made my stressful trip so amazing. If I ever come back to Italy this will be the place I reside.

Room was spacious and clean; breakfast included and owner made fresh cappucino for us. Free parking and nice patio for hanging out. Easy drive to the downtown of Pompeii and the ruins. The area around the hotel is not as rural and open country-side as we expected for "agri-turismo", the area was more developed with small fenced homes rather than farmland landscape. But despite that, we appreciated the location of the hotel for our motive of seeing the Pompeii and Herculaneum ruins (we had our own car). There were lots of restaurants in downtown Pompeii, about 10 minute drive, to choose from in the evening.

A family-run hotel close to the ruins of Pompeii, but far enough away to be quiet, peaceful and fresh.
Our family of four was greeted with a hearty, cheerful welcome. Pascale and his family took very good care of us.
The free breakfast is delicious and amazing, with local pastries still warm, fruit fresh off their own trees and espresso - made by the lady of the house, who is a marvel of energy and goodwill.
Everything was super clean, and was cleaned daily. The only downsides I can think of was that beds was a bit hard for this soft American, and the plumbing needs updating (but that was common for most of the moderately-priced hotels we stayed at in Italy).
We had a rental car, so we stayed several days, and were able to drive down the Amalfi Coast and swim in the free public beaches. There is one in Sorrento that was nice/safe for our children.
Villa Julia is a great option for a family on a budget. The gardens are lovely, and looks like everything is set up to host weddings. Mt. Vesuvius lurked above the citrus trees. We were able to "borrow" the Amalfi Coast during high season, without paying Sorrento prices. One of the friendliest places we stayed; and we were treated like family.

The hotel is not in the centre of town so walking is not that easy, but the owner Pasquale gave us lifts to and from town at very reasonable prices (the entrance to the ruins that is nearby was closed because it was out of season). Pasquale and his wife are a lovely couple and do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for them!

We had a bit of trouble finding this place and I really feel that expedia should give the hosts our email addresses so they can fine tune driving instructions and or check in procedures. The host was very pleasant and although not totally bilingual he had an app on his phone that helped immensely We enjoyed our stay there a lot and would come back.

Excelent Hotel, near to the town and every facility we needed. The best part was the staff that even though some of them didn't know how to speak english, they made their best effort to provide us with everything, tips, food, parking places, restorants, etc. Amazing breakfast and good parking space.

Small family run hotel. Very friendly and can't help you enough. I spoke no Italian but with the help of Google translation and them wanting to be as helpful as possible it was no problem.
Great Views of mount Versuvius Volcano, effectively you are 5 mins from the town centre in the Volcanoes back yard.
Not far from Pompai ruins and the town centre for restaurants and bars.
You do need a car to get the most from the region. It's about 30 min drive through tunnels and a coast road and you are at Sorrento, or Naples is the same distance in th other direction.

The hotel is located very close to Pompei Ruins. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend
