We enjoyed our stay here, the lobby and main area is modern and comfortable and has entertainment (fusball and table tennis)
The budget room was slightly underwhelming and basic but the beds were comfortable and the shower good
Staff were friendly and helpful
The area was a bit of a walk to the city with not many interesting places to stop along the way so would recommend taking a bus straight to the city

Functional and clean. Great location and bike hire was fantastic

No proper chair in place,
no kettle or coffee on offer.
Very basic layout for the money

The hotel is located about ten minutes away from Gent Dampoort train station. The facility is modern and squeaky clean. Although the hotel is close to a business park and a busy roundabout, you barely hear any noise from your room. Moreover, the presence of rental bikes helped me given that public transit in Gent is disappointing. For ten Euros a day (plus a fifty Euros safety deposit), I managed to visit all of Gent's major attractions with a rental bike from the hotel thanks to Gent's bike infrastructures.

Very conveniently close to the center of Gent and especially the restaurant that’s available.

Well designed, open, interesting. Lots of work spaces in the "lobby". Car chargers in the garage. Very pleasant and interestingly lively.

The hotel has a quirky reception that is lovely and modern . Although the bedrooms are small , the beds are comfortable for a good sleep at night , after spending busy days sightseeing !

I like the outdoor seatings and public toilets as well as easy access to the canal sidewalk. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent contemporary hotel, close to local train station and bordering a scenic canal which can be accessed by courtyard from the communal area.

The hotel is OK, but too far away from everything. The rooms are small as all Ibis budget rooms are and that’s OK. Yet, the triple room is way too small. Our room was not cleaned every day and that was of. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good.
8.0
Everything was good but we did not get breakfast included and paid for it separately each day. For us, there was not enough variety to justify paying 15 euros per person.

Very good standart and budget

A really lovely modern and clean hotel with superbly friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the location of the hotel was also very good with it being only a 10 min walk away from the main town centre. Would recommend and would use a again

It was very minimalist. All very neat & tidy

We spent a night overthere its for resting after long drive its a good choice if you only need an hotel at the city but there are too much student and business people i think they choose this hotel regularly.
İts a good price/performance hotel .
By the way they are making a delicious pizza!

Clean, modern and welcoming. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had everything there to make it a great stay, whether for a business event, a couples break or a family weekend. Brilliant!
Great location for Ghent Damport station and a 20 minute walk to the old town. Value for money

Area around the property was a little sketchy, but super walkable to the city center and inside the hotel was amazing

A comfortable hotel close to the city centre in Ghent. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. For the price, I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Great location, easy walk from train station with wheelie bags, and walk to town attractions. Our room was small but ideal as a place to put head down after big day walking. The staff were always friendly and always staff cleaning the main areas of hotel. The gym is small but adequate - cost euro 5 to use. The breakfasts seemed very popular and good value judging by the amount of people dining there from early in morning. All in all a really good budget hotel. The only negative is that there are roadworks happening outside so a little noisy and dirty but we were advised of that in an email prior to our arrival Would stay again if I re-visited Ghent. Dystopian Prison Complex Vibes
In an industrial area surrounded by construction, there are facial recognition cameras everywhere scanning everything. They are cashless meaning they want to charge your card for everything including city tax which is a hassle for international folks who dont want extra service fees to pay €3,5 for city tax, and they charge for everything from luggage storage (€2/hour) to hot water, paper cups, there are no free beverages or snacks or anything, no water no coffee no tea. the gym costs and extra €5 etc. all doors and elevators require card scanning, and there are so many doors, some doors are broken bathrooms out of order etc. Staff is somewhat rude. Window view is of industrial construction and window cleaners looking inti your room etc. It is very far from eveything one must either order a taxi or hike through construction to reach busses

We had a great time playing games borrowed from the lobby games library. The hitel creates a very social atmosphere that we really liked. We could have used a couple more amenities in the room such as a glass to have a drink of water to take medications and there was not a chair to sit on or a bench to place our suitcase.

For a budget hotel, this place was very clean, modern and had good service. City center is a 15 walk away so this is a really good deal and a good place to stay if you want to save some dollars.

I chose this place due to its proximity to the train station. The walk to the town wasn’t so bad at 20 minutes walk. The place looks new and nicely decorated.
There were a few “bad” things about this place:
# 1 : there was no luggage room. You had to leave whatever luggage that you don’t want to carry around to -1 locker room to which you had to pay € 2.00 each. We had to € 4.00 total as one of the luggage wouldn’t fit and left it with the front desk.
# 2 : the garbage in the bathroom was full upon coming into the room. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaner especially the shower.

Nice shower, comfortable bed, quiet room.
Cashless place, I would prefer if they would accept cash for coffee or the bar. I should have read everything and will in the future!

The rooms are too small
The common area on the ground floor Is reallt good

The only thing I did not like was the airconditioning in the lobby. That was a bit to cold.
