Don’t get discouraged by the condition of the streets, you’ll be surprised when you enter the hotel, the staff are very nice and the hotel itself is clean and very comfortable and overall safe.

Lovely modern hotel. All the staff were nice and friendly except for the receptionist. Not friendly at all . Had an excellent breakfast (not included). Had to pay for the milk for our coffees lol.

We had a very pleasant stay. From the beginning of the Check-In process, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of our room was amazing, with daily housekeeping. We ate downstairs and the food was very good. When we needed to move around, the front desk would call a cab for us so we felt safe. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Overall we really liked the hotel and the staff were very friendly especially the front desk reception Nayela ( not sure of the spelling) But there a few minor quarks. 1 you have to pay for internet not cheap and we could not use the code they gave us for our iPads just on our phones. 2 it was to do with the washroom nice fixture but no room around the sink to put your cream, make up, or toothbrush and nice little shelf under the mirror would really help! The toilet is a dual flush toilet and that is great because you want to preserve water but there’s no pressure to flush so you have to do multiple flushes (3-4) especially if you go #2 so it really defeats the purpose of conserving water. Finally in the shower there is nowhere to put your shampoo, conditioner, razor or other stuff, it’s all on the floor and a little shelve would go a long way. Also a removal clothes line the shower would be so great because you need somewhere to hang your swim suit or other stuff. Again these are small stuff but sometimes it’s the small stuff that makes your stay extra special. Having said all the above we would definitely stay there again.

I like that it's off the beaten path.

Inside the hotel and grounds, swimming pool are super clean. The street and sidewalks are like the rest of the town. If you are OK with small Mexican towns with cobblestone streets and uneven sidewalks then you will love this hotel. The name is very fitting.

The hotel it self is beautiful, staff was very friendly. The only thing i feel needs improvement are the beds. They are very uncomfortable. Talking with other guests they said the same thing. The mattresses are so hard, it was difficult to get a good sleep.

Excellent hotel with a lovely warm pool.
I would suggest they set up a morning coffee station in the pool side bar that was never open for those of us that are up before the restaurant opens at 7:30

This hotel is small and the center of the hotel is the pool. It's a nice hotel, it's close to the ocean, and the center of the town is a few block walk.

Our stay at The Luxury Hotel Inn surprised us in all the best ways. We speak no Spanish and the front desk clerk was friendly and graciously helped us fill out the check-in forms which were in spanish. The remainder of the staff were also incredibly friendly and nice. The courtyard complete with pool and cabanas was meticulously maintained and created a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was very nice, clean and in good repair. The adjoining restaurant has the most amazing food, friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere. We routinely ate breakfast and early dinner there as it should be noted they closed at 3pm daily. We miss their omelettes and tacos already.
While roaming the streets of La Penita (which are in very poor condition) we were met by the most friendly people and greeted often by those we passed. Never did we feel that we were unsafe in any way. I would recommend crossing the bridge of life over to the beach at Guayabitos though as it is cleaner than the one just down the road from the hotel.

Nice hotel, helpful staff, a few maintenance issues, but overall good. The town was a bit sad and run down. The road to get to the hotel was one of the worst I have driven on in México.

The room was a nice size and the court yard and pool was very nice. There is hardly any bathroom counter so we had to keep our bathroom stuff in the bedroom closet but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The toilet seat was broken and when we told them, the guy at the front desk said yes he knew but didn’t seem to think they needed to fix it. Whatever, we survived it without falling off the toilet when it slipped to one side. The bed was a bit hard but that seems to be the case in pretty much every place we’ve stayed in in Mexico. The restaurant wasn’t open the first two nights but was open the day we were leaving so we went there for lunch before we left. It was very good. Our checkout was at 12:00 noon but we couldn’t get into our other place until 3:00 so they let us enjoy the pool until three. They said we could keep our suitcases in the front lobby but we just kept them with us at the pool. That was very nice of them.
All in all, the stay was nice and we’d probably stay there again if we needed to.

Location good. Restaurant was quite nice and good food. We left early due to constant sewer smell, especially in our room. Would not stay there again.

The property is very nice. However, we had a room across from the pool and the bar and it was extremely loud.
