Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Food too was excellent.
We had a great time here.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at Island View Beachfront Resort. Peter was a great host and the staff were friendly and helpful. The customer service was exceptional. The property is set among beautifully maintained tropical gardens and our room looked out onto the beach. The atmosphere is very tranquil and serene which made for a very relaxing holiday. The Old Plantation Restaurant on site provided wonderful meals, drinks and service. Overall a memorable stay and would definitely recommend.

Check in fast with a personal greeting by Peter the owner. Most if not all rooms have ocean view. Diving on site.
Beach lounger’s. Excellent pool! Awesome staff! Personal in door and outdoor showers in cabanas.
Would definitely return.

Excellent, one of the finest restaurants in the area!

If you're looking for tranquility, this is it!! An amazing hotel. Service is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Water heater and air conditioning work excellent. The staff goes above and beyond. The Old Plantation restaurant at the hotel is excellent. Fresh ingredients and gorgeous scenery.
We flew into TAG and rented a car since the hotel is 2.5hrs away, but it is worth every minute. If you desire busy and bustling beach board walk this might not be for you, since its wonderfully secluded. Also, if you're wanting a full beach swimming experience, this one might not be for you. The beach is shallow which is common for the majority of the Bohol coastline. The hotel handsomely compensates for its virgin beaches with a beautiful infinity pool.
The hotel only accomodates a handfull of guests, which adds to the tranquil environment.
The only thing that suffered was the internet signal (data and wifi) in our room, but both can be accessed in the restaurant.
Would recommend this to all my family and friends

I have never rated a facility a 10....until now. The staff was far past excellent, there are no words for the level of service given to us. If you cannot totally relax here, you are most likely clinically dead. It is a 2-hour drive from the airport, and the beach is wonderful for us, but many most likely would not call this a beach. We loved the walk to the local town beach at low tide, great walk and well worth the trip, with many dining options available there. Our chef was world class, I am still in shock that she was not trained in some high-class culinary institute, but in fact is a local Filipina chef. Every different item we had were fabulous. the grounds were fantastic and recommend climbing the on-site tower for a breathtaking view. I cannot compliment this resort any higher, if you know how to chill...this is your place, period!

The road to the property is so bad.

The most friendly staff I met in the Philippines in 25 years. Thanks also to Peter

A wonderful relaxing experience a perfect get away without mass tourism and wonderful staff

Excellent property with onsite diving center, best restaurant in Anda, and fantastic staff. We extended our stay because we enjoyed our time at Island View Resort so much. Thank you to Peter and his team for making our time in Bohol so special.

The hotel of my dreams! I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to stay, and only wish I'd had longer. The room was FABULOUS, the beach felt like my own private paradise, the pool was lovely, the bar and restaurant excellent, the staff friendly and helpful... If you go to Anda and stay anywhere else you only have yourself to blame.

Our best accommodation in the Philippines! Amazing facilities, beach and peace. They offer kayaks to go a bit further on the beach. We found a magical snorkeling place around 500m to the right side of the hotel beach. You find a big rock and around that rock the snorkeling is magical! Bring your own mask.

We enjoyed our stay at the Island View Beach Resort very much. Lovely little resort with very clean and comfortable rooms especially the bed. Service and food at the old plantation restaurant was fantastic.

My wife is a Filipina so every few years we travel to the Philippines to visit her family in Luzon then to another island for vacation. Despite high reviews for previous resort selections, my wife and I have been disappointed with our selections for various reasons. Sometimes the resort does not meet our expectations and sometimes it’s the resort area. We were delighted to find that Island View exceeded our expectations. In fact, my wife had tears in her eyes when we left because she enjoyed her stay so much she didn’t want to leave. Me too.
The resort and Anda Province, where it is located, are beautiful. Combine that with first rate service and delicious meal options, we fell in love with the place. It’s apparent by the actions of the owner and staff that they want your stay to be special from the moment you arrive until you leave. We were greeted by the owner and about 1/2 dozen staff when we arrived and similarly bid farewell when we departed.
The staff are professional in that they are always dressed in clean pressed uniforms, polite, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are covered with palm trees, flowering plants, and ponds like the dragonfly pond. The rooms and restaurant face the sea and the view is spectacular. You can watch the sun rise over the sea during breakfast and set during dinner. We stayed in the The staff arranged for us to take The overall vibe of this resort is of peace an

Well where do I start - second time in Bohol. But this time I didn’t want to stay In panglao. We decided on island view because of the lovely reviews I read.
I’ve been to 57 countries and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. So This could be informative if you’re looking to book this hotel.
The property is immaculate. The rooms are very clean, house keeping cleans rooms daily. The pool is perfect!! It actually makes the hotel worth while. The beach is great if your looking to relax or snorkel or dive. The hotel has its own dive shop which is also immaculate, and professional. 2000 peso per dive (40 usd) not a bad deal.
The owner greeted us as soon as we walked in, he’s on the premises 24/7 which is nice because you can see he cares about his business.
If you’re a wine lover this is the place to be. Huge selection of wines. The restaurant is pretty good. As a chef myself you don’t expect much but the food was a 3 out of 5. I think the cooks need to learn how to season properly because everything was very bland.
The best sunset in all of Bohol. I’m convinced there’s no better sunset on the island then from this property. And probably one of the best in the Philippines. If you’re a sucker for a good sunrise and sunset because you get both here I would stay here.
The downside is the WiFi- very finicky on and off.
Downside is you are two hours away from Panglao and there is nothing to do in Anda.
Relax and Unwind

Quiet place, nice beach, infinity pool, free kayaking, good friendly staff. Excellent resort if you want quiet time together with family or loved ones. Restaurant food is decent. The American-style beef pot roast is a must try. Overall we had a good pleasant 3 night stay there.

Perfect secluded getaway resort with very friendly and helpful staff and excellent facilities. No complaints what so ever.

Loved that it's quiet and secluded. View is awesome. Resort offers a variety in food and drinks. Coffee is great! Staff are polite and offer service with a smile. Just wished we had more time to enjoy the place but we were in Bohol primarily to attend a fiesta.

A great place for couples to relax and genuinely release all tensions while enjoying good food. Beautiful location, probably the best pool I’ve used both for lengths and sitting and reading. Staff are outstanding

Awesome. The dive shop staff were super friendly, flexible with our needs, and helpful. Food was the best I've had in Bohol, and the rest of the staff were friendly. I will be back ASAP. Wifi worked well too.

The hotel location is superb, fronting onto a coral lagoon, with beautiful views from rooms, dining and bar areas. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The gardens are beautiful and a real surprise, with a lot of bird life. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu is well selected and delicious, with a good range of choices, including vegan, and fresh, locally caught, fish is an outstanding feature. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but was showing a few signs of wear and could do with some attention to detail to improve the standard to match the price tag.
4.8
Excellent and attentive service, awesome ambience. Quiet and nice little private white sandy beach. The blue sky and sea and wave sounds made all your worries go away, a little paradise on earth. You get what you pay for though we thought the coconut juice is a little bit pricy. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Highly recommended for those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday.

This place is a paradise. Probably the best hotel we have been in the Philippines. We only stayed for 4 days but we wish we could have stayed much longer.
The location is perfect, on a small, white sandy beach - that we basically had it all for ourselves. Sunsets are amazing. The staff is lovely, the food at the restaurant is delicious.
The hotel is quite and discrete, so it's great if you are looking for a place to relax.
Rooms are big, nicely decorated and clean. They have a patio and deck chairs in a lovely tropical garden.
We truly loved this place and couldn't recommend this enough.
They also organised snorkelling for us and that was great.
This place was a highlight of our trip and we'd love to come back one day! I'd recommend this to anyone travelling to the Philippines.
t's a hidden gem and we hope it will stay like this :)

Had an excellent few days at this resort in March. Service was extremely friendly at all levels, and made us feel welcome and well cared for, accommodating every request with a smile. Due to the small size and somewhat secluded location, the resort feels very private and quiet. Rooms are spacious and light, all with a private balcony. As seems to be the case in many hotels in the Philippines, bathroom amenities are limited. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and offers a wide range of delicious Filipino and international dishes. There's also an option of BBQ grilled seafood. The Beach isn't very wide (at high tide), but has nice white sand and offers some opportunities for easy snorkeling (Underwater shoes are recommended b/c of sea urchins). It's also possible to walk along the coast to Anda city at low tide. We also rented a scooter (600P/day) to explore the nearby area (rice terraces, cave pools etc).
Highly recommended for anybody seeking a more quiet resort experience.

Very small secluded resort, very quiet. Staff very helpful in all respects. Good choice of food. Forty mins walk into town or ten mins on tricycle. Room large with comfortable bed and very clean. Not for those wanting to be entertained. Excellent value, the best resort that we have stayed in, would definitly return.
