I would highly recommend Malaga Lodge to anyone who is planning on staying in Malaga. The place is about 15 minutes from the center, there are convenience stores nearby, restaurants, and there are a lot of places where you can park for free. We parked on the street just a few minutes from the Lodge. The place is well-organized, comfortable, and quiet. We shared a bathroom and toilet with 2 more rooms on the floor. I never felt that I was sharing it with someone. Whenever I needed it, it was available and super clean. The kitchen was perfectly organized too. Every room had its cabinet and a shelf in the fridge. So you could bring your food and store it. The lady was super helpful. We had 2 bookings. One from 1.6. to 2.6. and another from 2.6. to 6.6. and we wanted to skip check-out and check-in time because we had planned a trip to Ronda on the day of our first check-out. The lady organized everything for us, so we didn't have to wait for check-in and she moved all our belongings from our first room to another. Just a perfect stay!

Everything was excellent regarding the property, lovely and clean, comfortable and the kitchen was easy to use and well maintained. I have only given it 4 stars because I hadn’t been warned there would be loud construction noise from outside nearby, together with strong diesel type fumes otherwise I would have tried to book elsewhere. The noise started early in the morning and continued for much of the day, I couldn’t open the French windows because of the strong fumes. It is a pity because apart from that, everything was great.

This is great value. The property is well maintained and is located close to everything. That was what we were looking for inexpensive, clean and centrally located. We found parking a couple of streets away although there is parking near the guesthouse. Our GPS didn't understand that you can't get to the guesthouse via car. It is walk in only. We took the hop on hop off bus which is 50 meters away and that was a excellent option. A great little restaurant is just around the corner to the right.

Our stay at Malaga Lodge was absolutely perfect! The street/neighborhood that the guesthouse is in is very nice, quiet, and a perfect distance from the city center. The lodge itself is very clean and welcoming. It was wonderful having space in the fridge and the kitchen/dining room available for some of our meals. The hostess is lovely and kind. We cannot wait to come back to the Malaga Lodge!

Quiet in a more residential area, the communal places including kitchen and bathroom facilities were cleaned every day. The toilet and shower place is shared on each floor between two and three parties but it seemed everyone respected each other’s privacy.

Good stay, nice place. Quiet, good connection to the city center, but a bit far. So might need to spend a bit of money and time to get around. Nice little supermarket not far away, and the street is very quiet. Overall good experience, check-out time could be a bit later though.

It was a very nice establishment, small but very well run. Spotless and nice place to relax. Pity that I was only there for one night, very peaceful and quite, the only noise was the guests because living in such close proximity to each other being such a small place, noise from other guests was quite evident at times.

Good hotel, we stayed for 1 night. Comfortable bed, good air con ceiling fan and a lovely little balcony. Shared bathroom which meant you had to wait for your turn, but not a big deal. Everything was clean and the hostess very friendly.

Great budget place to stay - it’s on a little cute street and has all the amenities you need and is very clean. Although the bathroom is shared, it wasn’t an issue as there is a bathroom and toilet on every floor so we hardly saw anyone else. Kitchen has everything you need.

It was very clean and cozy to stay for two nights. The only thing is the distance from the center of the city. We had to walk to Picasso museum and the beach for about 20 minutes but not that bad. We love Malaga and recommend this place :)

Shared kitchen with some supplies already was great for breakfast. Handy to Hop on Hop off bus stop, local bus and supermarket. Walkable distance from all main historical spots.

While the location of the hostel was nice, and the place well looked after and clean, we did not receive the room we reserved. We reserved a double room and the order confirmed a double bed. We got a twin room and the staff said that was the only room available, and should we wish to we could put the beds together. As the order confirmed a double room, wed expect that either the staff prepare the room or inform us in advance of their room availability so visitors could make informed decisions on their stay. Also, the room was on the ground floor and not sound isolated so we could hear everything - people going in and out, talking in the kitchen and so on. To note however that we slept well. Its a nice place after all, but if we were to return we would ask for a room on a different floor and definitely confirm that what you order is what you get.

This accommodation is in a excellent position to explore the delights of Malaga , , it is close to an excellent bus service for when ur weary of walking , which u will become as Malaga is a delightful city to explore , narrow street ; lovely plazas , broad ,tree covered paths to the beach . The food and street music is delightful . The accommodation has a spotlessly clean kitchen / dining room with tea, coffee and bread provided ,this pleAsant environment will find u wanting to eat in it and to help u there is a supermarket close by where u can buy lovely butter ; a wide range of cheeses and cold meat to accompany the scrumptious bread .In the small fridge in the kitchen they keep marg and jam , if they have the strawberry jam , stock up on bread as the jam tastes like homemade strawberry jam . The only down side is that the room we had didn’t hv a comfy seat in it however the bed was comfortable , the room was spotless clean, like the rest of the accommodation.. I would go back to this accommodation again
