The hotel is centrally located and perfect for exploring the heart of Paris. The building was fully renovated 6 or so years ago, so the rooms are in excellent condition and while the hotel is small, it has all the on-site amenities you'd expect in a hotel of this category. We found the room cleaning services lacking. The hotel uses shampoo and soap dispensers attached to the bathroom walls. We discovered that the shampoo dispenser was empty and clearly was not checked by the cleaning staff. After striking out into town early in the day we returned to the hotel at 3PM for a rest to discover that our room had not been cleaned, causing us to have to sit in the lobby for 40 minutes while a cleaner was sent up to the room. We then found that while the room had been cleaned, we were lacking bath towels, which necessitated another call to the front desk. These are sorts of annoyances that you do not expect in a 5 star rated hotel.

The experience I had at this hotel was absolutely terrible. We were locked out of our room one evening because of the hotel issues with the door and the hotel did absolutely nothing for us. I was traveling with my sister who is extremely diabetic and needed her medication in our room and they explained that there was nothing they could do. It was the person on desk first evening and he had no idea how to handle this issue. He said there was no one who he could call or nothing he could do. I personally had to find a way to open the door on my own. This is completely inappropriate. When we went to the front desk in the morning asking for compensation for this, they explained there was nothing they could do because we booked through Expedia. At the price we paid for this hotel is beyond unacceptable. They did not care what so ever about about my sisters health condition. If I do not receive some sort of compensation I will never book through Expedia again.

Room a lot smaller then expected, not much space in bathroom; had yo have a couple items fixed the first night , which i dont appreciate having to deal with. curtains were NOT blackout as there was so much light coming in from both sides. Requested extra soap before i left, did not receive it. Requested to purchase soap/body cream in room, did Not receive any info. Room was nicely decorated and pleasant even if too small.

My wife and I we have an amazing experience, hotel room was great. Hotel location is convenient and easy to explore. Everyone was friendly, kind, professional, helpful to us. Highly recommend this hotel.

Gerald went above and beyond to cater to our family's needs, especially when it came to accommodating our vegetarian dietary preferences. Not only did he recommend outstanding vegetarian-friendly restaurants in the area, but he also took care of making reservations for us, ensuring that dining out was a hassle-free experience.
In addition to his expertise in gastronomy, Gerald proved to be an invaluable resource for arranging other aspects of our trip. From organizing reliable babysitters for our little ones to arranging taxi services for our excursions around the city, Gerald's attention to detail and professionalism were truly commendable.
Our accommodations at Hotel Bowmann were nothing short of luxurious. The rooms were elegantly appointed and provided a serene sanctuary after a day of exploring the bustling streets of Paris.

Gerald is not just a Golden Key concierge; he's a true gem with a good heart and a warm soul. His dedication to ensuring our stay was memorable went above and beyond any expectations. Gerald's expertise and thoughtful gestures added immense value to our trip.
On numerous occasions, Gerald effortlessly secured last-minute dinner reservations for us, always managing to secure the best tables in town. His attention to detail and knowledge of the local scene were impressive.

We enjoyed an absolutely perfect stay at Hotel Bowmann. Everyone there just could not have been nicer and more helpful, the rooms were very pretty, quiet, clean, and comfortable, the breakfast spread was generous, the property itself is gorgeous, and the location is terrific. The pool and spa areas needed a little bit of freshening up, but that is such a minor quibble because it's amazing to find an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room/sauna at all in a Parisian hotel. The pool is very large! We booked a "family room" which is two adjoining rooms in a wing each with one king bed. This was not cheap but it was very comfortable for our family's stay in Paris. Highly recommend this hotel.

Don't stay at the Bowmann unless you want all your whims catered to! Absolutely superior personalized service. Concergie Gerald is a whiz with recommendations and renovations and the whole staff treated us Royally. Spa and Pool area are top notch. Comfortable rooms, great location. A perfect stay 10/10

We had an fab stay at the hotel. It was the perfect location for us - away from busy noisy parts but still walking distance to all the shopping and attractions.

Staff were brilliant - special shout out to asma and Guy the butler.
Guy(pronounced Ghey) was fantastic, nothing was too much for him. He made my birthday very special. Got me a very delicious cake which was very sweet of him.
Shout out to Gerald at the concierge he was excellent, very well connected. He helped us to book the tickets for the attractions.
Overall the staff, location and experience of our stay was brilliant. You get what you pay for, a true 5 star experience.
Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Stayed for business.
After checking out they billed me for an item from the mini bar without checking or informing me. I had to call and they informed me they made a mistake.
As a five star and the 2x cost of the hotel per night compared to hotels with similar rooms, food and quality, this was unacceptable. You pay the 2x price for the “supreme service”. In this case they would have just taken £35 if I didn’t notice when checking bills a few days later. They refunded the cost after asking me to sort out an email with the details (more overheads) and sent me an email with an apology. If you are going to operate as the highest quality rated hotel at £400 per night, you cannot afford to make mistakes of any size, and if you do, an email apology does not cut it.
Similar quality hotel as the local 4* - would not class this as a 5* or stay ever again based on this experience. Poor show, 4* quality at best.

This is a fantastic hotel with great rooms and amenities. It's clean, modern and in a great location that is walking distance to many attractions. This hotel stands out because of the staff. Everyone who works here goes out of their way to make your stay incredible. I have never had this kind of service anywhere else let alone in Paris. Special thanks to the entire front desk staff, Guy and Omar in the restaurant.

We are a couple in our 60s and stayed 3 nights in October 2023. Pros: Clean, in a delightful french provincial design, nice spacious room, very high tech bathroom with heated floors, a bidet, large walk-in shower and USB plugs. Nicely updated. Friendly Staff. Cons: Communication Mishaps. Staff at the front desk did not know of any breakfast places nearby to recommend for a pastry but highly recommended a place about a 15 min walk but it was a macaroon place. Hotel should have nearby restaurants to recommend. I tried calling down to get a washcloth. After several tries and no answer, I went downstairs. The front desk said they didn't have them but would call housekeeping for more hand towels. Then housekeeping sent up washcloths but why didn't reception know? There was a concierge desk but I never saw anyone at it. Finally, we told the night receptionist we would need a taxi at 6:30 AM. This person did not relay the message. 6:30AM we went downstairs and nobody was at the front desk. A manager soon appeared and told us the receptionist was helping someone. After about 10 min we started to panic. This manager tried very hard to get us a taxi but no taxis were available. About 20 min later, the reception guy showed up for work. They both tried to call taxis but they were impossible to get at that time. Fortunately after many tries, my husband found an Uber. I would not stay here again due to the problems with reception.

With the exception of several wonderful staff members (Ramy at the front desk, Omar in the restaurant and the bellmen) our stay at the Bowmann was extremely disappointing. We booked the suite with the hot tub to treat ourselves (our father became ill on our trip and had to go to the hospital). When we arrived, the hot tub was empty and we were told it would be filled. After a few hours, it was partially filled and cold. After complaining, they said it would be fixed. It was not. The next day, we tried again. They said it had been fixed. It was not and we asked them to come see for themselves. When they did see that it was cold they were apologetic but said there was nothing they could do. We spent almost $5000 and were offered a discount of $139 when we checked out. Thankfully, hotels.com was able to refund us 10%. The worst part was that the hotel manager did not seem to even care about our situation or that we were disappointed by an experience that we had hoped would lift our spirits in a difficult time. Thank you to hotels.com for trying to make things right.

What I loved about the Bowmann Hotel: towel warmer, robes, bidet, heated floor, spacious shower, well lit mirror all this just for the bathroom. Spacious room for Paris, large TV, quiet area, great staff, delicious meals in restaurant, full bottle of wine, snacks, juices, mineral water all for free in mini fridge. Clean and beautiful atmosphere. Full gym and pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi all included. Cookies and candy and lemon water in lobby 24/7. Great working AC in rooms with thermostat. Stayed for 8 days and loved it.
