Beautiful room. Very comfortable beds. Modern furnishings. View is amazing and check in easy and efficient. Staff very helpful on arrival. We were only able to stay one night but would have loved to stay longer. Definitely would come back if available. The area is know for its beauty and there are narrow stairs as it is built into the mountain, but there is also a winding road/path up to the residence so stairs can be minimized. There are two terraces to sit and enjoy the breathtaking view of the town and hills.

Don’t stay here!!! This place had good reviews on this site but I should’ve looked at Google. Incredibly terrible customer service at this place that has good potential.
This isn’t a real hotel. The staff communicated via WhatsApp which is fine. They sent me instructions on how to check in. However, it wasn’t very clear on how to actually get to the place itself. Once we finally arrived, we got the key from a lockbox. However; it was a generic skeleton key and incredibly difficult to use. We got in the suite and hotels.com sends their usual “how was check-in” email. I answer honestly. They must’ve notified the staff because I then got rude messages on WhatsApp threatening to evict me for leaving a negative “review”. Couldn’t believe it.

We don’t understand some of the poor reviews of this place. We had a magical stay in the junior suite. We canceled all our dinner reservations to have dinner on the balcony all nights. You can’t get a better balcony and sunset view in Manarola. Yes, it is of course some steps and steep hills to walk but that is the case for all hotels in Cinque Terre, and it is honestly not that bad. It’s only like 2-3 floors. The people that have pointed out this as a problem have clearly not done their research on where they are going.
Check in was easy. The owner will message you on hotels.com the day or a few days before and ask to write you on WhatsApp where he will send you information about self check in.
We, a couple in our thirties from Sweden, will definitely come back.

The view alone at this property from the balcony is worth the cost! My husband and I stayed in La Spezia and booked one night in Manarola at this property. We took in the breathtaking sunset from the balcony and then watched a lightning storm off in the distance under the stars. A memorable stay for sure!

The check-in process was a nightmare and the staff was incredibly rude. There is no lobby or staff that work physically on the property. We booked through Orbitz. Received a message the day prior asking for our contact information so we could receive the check-in code to get our room keys. I responded through Orbitz as there was no other email provided. I never heard back, so for several hours prior to our arrival I tried to call, no less than 5 times. We were placed on hold for > 10 minutes at a time, then the call would drop. Got to the property could not get into our room, no staff was there, tried calling again with no success. Called Orbitz, who also struggled to get in touch with anyone for > 20 minutes. Finally they were able to get in touch with someone who was so rude, yelled at the Orbitz agent and then hung up the phone. Orbitz called to offer to cancel our reservation and help us find new accommodations. While they were searching for other hotels, I finally received a phone call from the hotel. The gentleman, who would not give me his name despite my asking, was exceptionally rude to me. I explained we had been trying to reach him for quite some time. He told me "stop being hysterical, that's my problem, not his." He went on to tell me that he "doesn't care if we had to end up sleeping on the streets."
We were finally able to get in after multiple more phone calls and texts, but I was so disappointed with their customer service.

Great location great view

Such a beautiful terrace! The room was gorgeous and comfortable. Suggestions for improvement considering the price: we were only given 1 bathrobe, the terrace should have an umbrella already setup, the room needs a kettle for making tea and ideally a mini-fridge and microwave. We loved our stay and would still highly recommend.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the bed was very comfortable. Locking the door and using the A/C were very confusing. It would have been nice to receive more detailed instructions from the staff, who are not on site. They responded quickly via WhatsApp but were not very friendly or helpful. They provided a wine key that was missing a corkscrew, so when we tried to enjoy a bottle of wine at sunset, we had to walk to a nearby restaurant to ask them to open it. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they ignored that part of my message. For the price, I expected more attention to detail and a much more welcoming and helpful staff.

View was fantastic, little down side the walk from the parking to the condo!

My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite and were blown away by the incredible views from our private terrace. It was the perfect getaway and wish we stayed more than two nights because it really was so beautiful and relaxing.

The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Well worth the walk up the steep hill.
The bed is super comfortable and the balcony is the best thing ever.
On the downside, the shower is extremely small and very slippery to get out of, given that water sprays all over the entrance.
The wifi is very patchy when sitting on the balcony but is good inside the room.

The terrace is very large and the best view in Manarola, and the breakfast is very nice. The room is small, it's odd to have a bathroom with a toilet open to the rest of the room (glass partition), and there were small ants everywhere. We arrived on a hot day in late April and the heat radiator was on, it took some time for confusing instructions from staff via what's app texts to turn it off and although AC is advertised it is not turned on until sometime in May. It's like an airbnb in that there is no on-site staff and it's in an apt bldg, yet it's like a hotel in that they charge for coffee, water, etc. that is in the room.

The area, entry way, building isn’t lit. Very dark.

More strenuous climbing than most cities, but doable for us 74 year olds. Great views from room. Bed and linens are both good.

Wonderful stunning view and very cute apartment.
Great location, comfortable bed, nice hot tub, epic deck.
Could use a refrigerator or ice machine to chill some wine but honestly the view is to die for.

The place is amazing, a very nice view and a very modern room. The car park is 10 minutes walk.

Based on the location of the unit it would be best to advise your guests as some will have luggage, offer bag assistance facilities even with an additional charge. Upon arrival the television did not work not one came to resolve the problem we were advised a lady would come the following day. When we saw the cleaning lady she had no clue how to fix it and no one else came to assist and no one check if the problem was resolved. The refrigerator there is an absolute waste of time as it is filled with your drinks and cannot even facility a guest bottled water. The room needs a proper size refrigerator and a microwave. I paid for two nights and only stayed one and ended up having to pay to stay elsewhere. I am very disappointed as this was our honeymoon.

Great location and views. Be sure to bring your own water bottles and coffee or be prepared to pay for in room amenities. Walk from nearby parking was very convenient and room was very clean. Bring a flashlight as walkway up to room even during the day has insufficient lighting.

The property was beautiful, it was the most amazing view and most comfortable stay we had in our trip to Italy. The walk to the hotel is worth it. Keep in mind that if you stay during Orange weather warning period all shops close so you will need to find food in another city. That said this place is still worth it !

Immaculate mod room and bath and the stunning balcony vista make the climb worthwhile.

Million dollar view. Pay very close attention to directions and location. And, if you do not want to carry or pull bags up and down hills and up and down MANY flights of stairs either hire the baggage service or stay somewhere else. That said, once you get to the room, you will not be disappointed. Room 212 offers a beautiful view and is down the hill from the train station the quaint town of Manarola. The property is in Manarola, not Riomaggiore. Riomaggiore is one train stop away. We personally thought Manarola was more quiet and quaint than Riomaggiore so were happy about the location. Again, only challenge with this property is accessibility. As long as you have a plan in advance, it will not be an issue.

There were a lot of stairs with luggage but we managed. Loved the patios and the views were breathtaking. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was amazing.

It is a mountain village, so expect steps to be climbed. Quite a few of them. The place itself was modern, clean, and with a breathtaking view. Contact was via messaging service, so a working phone is advisable. Enrico was friendly and a situation of need helpful way above expected. Strong recommendation.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was fabulous. The view from the balcony was just amazing and food options nearby are awesome as well.

Fantastic property with an amazing view! The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided great directions for finding the building and going through self check-in.

Loved the view, the cleanliness of the room. I would have liked a small fridge to store some food that we bought, instead if a small fridge full of drinks to purchase. Also the website says the hotel is located in Riomaggiore when it is in Manarola - caused confusion.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The honeymoon suite room was incredible and the view was second to none. We extended our stay by a night because we did not want to leave. Yes, parking is outside town, but that’s for everyone. The stairs are a lot, but we found shortcuts up some other paths to reach the room. The room itself is worth the effort. The huge balcony patio is incredible and we enjoyed spectacular sunsets each night. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

Great location. The view was beautiful!

The most beautiful room with the absolutely best view. While this isn’t a traditional hotel (self check in etc) it was a really comfortable stay with a very responsive manager. We had a few issues with Wi-Fi and coffe but the manager quickly offered solutions and fixed both issues. They even let us keep our bags there until 1pm on check out day. The balcony is small, but very comfortable for 2 people to sit for a glass of wine.

I want to start off by saying that the views are gorgeous! But first, you have to make it there. We knew ahead of time that we would not be able to park on-site, but we were unclear as to where to park. We figured that out. The hike to get to the place from the parking lot with all of your luggage is not easy. First, you go down cobblestone hills, then you go up and climb stairs, and then you have to climb a few flights of stairs inside before you are finally there. I am recovering from my fourth foot surgery (two on each foot) and was only three months out, so this was very hard for me. I knew there would be some climbing or walking but I didn't realize how hard it would be. I tried later to go down and explore the town, but made it down one flight of very steep, wide stairs and knew I couldn't go on. I was thankful for the nice patio and the views that I could enjoy from my room and also the deep jacuzzi, although that was also a challenge to get into as well! Overall, it was nice, but I don't recommend anyone with any medical issues to book this place.

Enrico didn't like that I gave push back about sending all of our sensitive personal info including passport photos over social media, so he canceled our reservation as we got on the train to Riomaggiore, leaving us without a place to stay.

Beautiful views, disappointing experience…the views are absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, the experience was not. We arrived and realized the key card did not work. Luckily, the housekeeper was still there and was able to let us into our room. She informed us that there would be workers painting outside our room the next day. This was the first time we learned of this work. The next morning, we woke up to loud construction and men on scaffolding right outside our window. Considering this was listed as a “luxury” stay, this was unacceptable. Our entire morning was interrupted and we had no privacy. When we reached out to management, we received a casual response. Overall, despite the view we would not recommend this location based on this experience.

Location in town was good. View was limited in our unit but was OK. Breakfast was wonderful & served to our room promptly at 8:30 each morning. Accommodations were a little tight but not at all uncomfortable. WiFi service was very good.Major inconvenience is lack of parking and need to manage luggage on steep streets and steps for long distances. Would not recommend this property to anyone with any mobility or cardiac issues.

Nice and clean room and premises. The only challenge is accessing it ... it’s a steep walk up of around 10 mins.
