I can tell this was farbthe most terrible stay in Barcelona. Usually i like hostels with multiple beds no problem with that but this the worst. I cannot add photos i think there is a problem with the hotels.com site but i really wanted the shoe you guys that the pictures has nothing to do with the reality exept the lobby

The worst Experience of my whole life traveling. Was depress for me and my family. I never imagined that I going to be in a place like this. First, the room that they post on the advertising is not even close for the room that they gave me. Any room in a prisión have better conditions that that hole.The room was with bathroom and the told me that I have to share the bathroom with other peoples (ladies and gentlemen). One of the shower lock work didn,t work. NO HOT WATER IN ANY DAY AND ANY TIME TO TAKE SHOWER. We went to talk to the front desk person and they gave just excuu

I have stayed in hostels all over the world, and this is by far the worst one. There are two showers for 60 people, The showers were broken half the time I was there. The bathroom facilities were disgustingly dirty. The bathrooms are mixed, male and female, and no changing room from the shower. There are no locks on most the doors and there was no soap most the time. You could find trash everywhere and no toilet paper. In the room with 10 bunkbeds, there was only one outlet to share. The Last night I was supposed to stay I came home and my key didn’t work so I went downstairs to ask what was wrong and they said that they had to move me to a different room because they booked a party of 10. So they changed my bed and my room without any notice, I only found out because my key didn’t work. I tried to get the stuff I had left on my bed but then found the cleaning staff did not know where it was, including my shower things which left me without the ability to take a shower. The new room they put me did not have any lockers. I would absolutely not stay this hostel again. I will say that the kids running it are really nice people and they do their best with what they have. For the amount of money they charged I would expect at least the basics I’m not looking for luxury, but unfortunately they missed the mark on clean facility, room management, basic hygiene, and basic facilities. I recommend to stay elsewhere.

This property is not what I expected and is not worth the money. From the photos it looks much nicer but when we got there we were surprised. Despite being in a good area for tourists, the price of the room is far too high for what you get. There is no air conditioning, do not provide towels, nothing but a bed and bin in the room, the toilets are small, comfortable and the floors always wet from the showers. There was a kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge downstairs in the common space. There’s also a balcony which was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun. Overall I disagree with the price and think they need to upgrade a bit if they want to charge so much. Would not stay again. Thank you to the staff who were friendly

I am a solo traveller woman. I booked my reservation and came at 2:30PM to drop my stuff there. I asked the guy if I could come back to get the keys at 11PM because I had to go somewhere. He said no problem they are open 24H. I came back to get the keys and go to my room and at midnight after waiting for few people ahead of me, all looking super upset, another guy, which was by the way very disinterested and laid back told me that they “accidentally” gave my bed and that now they are in a overbooking , and that they had no bed for me. Left alone at midnight without a place to sleep in the middle of Barcelona. They didn’t try to help at all, they didn’t even seem sorry. Hospitality should never look like that. Disgusting!

Really nice staff but the property, mainly the bathrooms, are absolutely disgusting. The worst public bathrooms I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s also standard to provide towels for free which isn’t the case here.

The whole stay wasnt good had to book another hostel as it was that bad. I certainly will not be booking this again in the future. There was a odd smell that wouldnt go away as soon as i first walked into the room .Toliet door was damaged no lock. The beds were not stable. The bedsheets were filthy. I couldn't finish the stay in this one. I can say the hostel that i booked was 10 times better than this horrible one.

You get what you pay for - bed and dorm was clean, but the rest of the hostel left a lot to be desired. It felt very industrial, and the bathroom was hideous.

Nicely updated lobby and hallways; and excellent, helpful staff. While the bed was comfortable, the rooms could use a little love and the bathrooms were just okay. You can’t beat the location, though!

Staff seemed agitated all the time. Rooms were not air conditioned and there aren’t any outlets for in the rooms themselves except for a couple that had to be shared between 10 people. Wouldn’t recommend if you want a good launching point for your trip.

Not the most beauiful hostel you can find, but the staff makes up for the lack of charme of the structure. You must know how to adapt your self, but all are very friendly, kind, funny and do their best to help you in any situation. Very easygoing, no pretention to be a good hostel, but they act like friends with guests :) Cleaning every morning, bed are done and clean at arrival. They have towels if needed, washing machine and luggage deposit. Kitchen with old stuff that still do its job.

The location of the hostel is the only good thing about it. The rooms are jammed packed, hot and humid with 2 outlets at the most. I stayed in a 10 bed and it was unbearable. We had 2 outlets and both were used for the fans because it was so hot. The showers were very old and the water was either super hot or freezing no control of the temperature. The staff is nice but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Additionally, the name mentions it’s for youth and I was surprised to see older men in my room which is uncomfortable as a younger female.

Good location, right off La Rambla and Barrio Gotico, and across street from cheap grocery store (but far from station). Staff tries to be helpful, but reservations system is very slow, so one has to often wait long. They do have kitchen for guests (with only 1 cup), and according to sign posted , beverages are not allowed to be stored in refrigerator during hot Barcelona summer! Remove this sign and my rating would increase greatly.

Someone earlier in the reviews said it best, if you love rules then this is the place for you. I’ve never felt so cold and unwanted in a hostel, there’s no sense of backpacker or world explorer vibe here. The nonexistent kitchen means you are spending more to eat. And the rules about drinking & smoking immediately destroy any chance to talk with fellow travelers. I tried to take a phone call at 3am and sneak outside, but not happening here.
