I am a Doctor have been to 56 countries and this has been by far the WORST hotel experience ever. While the employees are VERY VERY nice people, the owner seems to do nothing to upkeep the hotel. I had NO HOT WATER, NO AIR CONDITIONING and NO TV. The locks on the door are ancient so anyone can get into your room with a credit card to steal your items. Bugs everywhere and the chef used sink water to make food when that is dangerous and can cause H Pylori! The corridor has rain mildew and BIG holes in the ceiling which again can cause mold sickness. Toilet did not flush well and sink water smells like rotten eggs. What REALLY got me was how the owner tried to shake me down for extra money! She said they did me a “favor” putting me in THAT room and if i am to stay there I need to pay more money! I just said, “no i will not do that this place is not worth that”. Its a dangerous place and a health hazard; I left and found another hotel. I had to spend double the money but its better than getting sick. However, the hotel employees ARE SUPER NICE AND I WISH THEY WOULD FIND A BETTER PLACE TO WORK— I have NO complaints about her employees they do a GREAT job with their attitude. One young man even apologized to me which i thought was sincere and was much appreciated. Take my advice: DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO! The owner should find the funds to RENOVATE and then i am sure it would be nice due to location. She has ignored upkeep and health standards.

The owners sister of the hotel is a delightful and charming woman. One that you want to just be around because of her aura. Yet she must have a superpower that sucks all of the charm from her staff. The staff is the rudest, most arogant people in the world. Multiple times has a particular staff member upset me to the point of tears.
Earlier in the morning I had extended my stay by a couple of days, when i approached reception about 11:30 am the receptionist greeted me with "why are you so late!"
It would be helpful if reception had a way to see the online bookings. Also, it would be helpful if English was spoken as the mass majority of the guests are from abroad.
