Our stay at the Pioneer Pocket Hotel was great! Check in and out was very easy. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a while. The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous hotel in a great location!

My daughter & I enjoyed our stay. We were at the ground floor location last year & it was a pleasant experience both times
3.0
The room was clean. The make out couch in suit was uncomfortable. The fact that there was no room service. Very little parking space or front desk was strange.
My experience bad at all, just very different.

It was an excellent stay. We stayed in the Black and Gold room and it was very clean. Tiffany was so helpful, kind and amazing. We really appreciate Tiffany. We will be coming back and staying here in the future.

Clean, well appointed, all needs met.

It was a nice enough room although over-prived for the offering. Both check-in and check-out were bizarre as they were both entirely through text. There is no staff at the "hotel". Although we were offered to "pre-check-in" online, I had no idea that they would check you in automatically (and check you out for that matter). The check-in instructions were a little confusing, as there is no one from the hotel there to greet you and you have to find your own way.
The room was oddly laid out, but it was very spacious, including the bathroom. (FYI. The living area looks nothing like the image to the left.) Parking was very inconvenient, as you park on one side of the hotel, walk to the from, then walk around a hallway, all to get to an elevator that is right next to where you parked in the first place.
It is nice enough, but I would not stay here again.

We stayed in the Windmill room. You really wouldnt know what room you were in besides the 4 pictures on the wall. Room and hotel was clean, beds were comfy. Only oomplaint was that got really warm in the room and the older windows lead to hearing all traffic all night like you were on street level. We ate at the Hotel restaurant and the service was good. Steak was far from great for the price but appetizers were good. We wanted to try coffee the two mornings but was told that it was not in the hotel and it was across the street which was a little miss leading so we traveled to J&B and had great service there. Overall, it was not a bad stay but it was not exactly what we were expecting. Not sure we would go out of the way to stay again. Still down town so you dont want to be walking around late and even in the morning, there was a skeetchy giy walking around and jumping the rails so be prepared like you would in any other downtown area. No close security around or police, not that its expected but little awkward downtown area and thinking you would walk a couple of blocks to a couple cool restaurants which there are a few really close that are worth checking out. Check-in was a breeze and they seemed great. Looks like they are trying their best but just a few issues if you want to feel safe. Would still be nice to have staff on site.

We loved it! Such a great space, it felt like home.

All electronic check-in, no staff and no desk. Bums in the parking lot and hanging near the vehicles create a slight safety concern.

Always the best stay in Lubbock!! Everything was wonderful!

Check in was very easy. First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was really nice. The ottoman at the foot of the bed had a BUNCH of stains all over it. GROSS. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. The TV didn't work half the time. Couldnt get the tv to change channels and it would lock up completely. Then I couldn't get it to turn on at all. Maybe just dead batteries in the remote??

Beds were super comfortable and rooms were extremely quiet and clean. We will stay here when stopping in Lubbock from now on.

It was awesome seeing how they turn a historic building into a hotel and condo with a brewery and restaurant at the main floor of the building! Would love too book here again!

I was unfamiliar with the check in process and initially missed the text. So, I was confused at first. I met someone from the Brewery and they explained the process.
Once I acclimated (5 minutes) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The third floor room was great. The facility was clean and updated. And the property had a cool vibe...

Its was very nice and quite we liked the look only problem the a/c did not blow it was a bit hot fan was on high but no air flow overall was good

If I had any feedback it would be that the on site restaurant requires reservations so that was a bummer. The brewery staff attached were awesome though and the food and drinks were excellent. And the shower in the windmill was snug for an admittedly small person.

Did not receive email with check in details as was indicated when booked room. Had to call hotel about it. Was told there were system issues, so would receive a text instead.
When trying to go up to my room, elevator would not work, so had to go up the stairs with all my luggage to 3rd floor. When got to my floor, found out that housekeeper was holding the elevator doors open with laundry bags, so guest were unable to utilize.
Room was decent-furniture was a bit worn and seat at end of bed was badly stained.
Parking was very close to front door of hotel which was convenient. Bed was comfortable.

Nice room; convenient location; easy parking; overall a very good value

The check-in process is digital which makes it very convenient. The room smelled very fresh & pleasant but was smaller than imagined. I would have appreciated access to an extra blanket. The mattress was very soft but the sheets were a poly-cotton blend and could have been better quality for the price of the room. The room is equipped with mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker. It was stocked with plenty of towels. Overall it was a nice stay and we would stay again.

Great little boutique hotel near downtown Lubbock! I loved that there's a nice restaurant and a brewery in the same building! Clean, comfortable beds, and many amenities.

I really liked the cleanliness of not only the room but the entire building. I enjoyed having a drink at the brewery in the lobby.

Appreciated the “extras” provided in the bathroom. Given that there is no support on site, I’m sure they will prove to be useful to some travelers. Enjoyed the restaurant, brewery and especially the live music!

The check in process over text and the door codes made this super convenient for my late night arrival. The room was spotless and had everything I needed.

We were comfortable with our stay. Very quiet and spacious. However, the hallway was not “smoke free”. We noticed it when we were back in our room for the night.

Hands down the most comfortable stay we have had in a hotel. Very clean and beautifully furnished. The brewery on the first floor was an added bonus.
