Wanted to cancel as i found out the day before that this hotel was unsuutable for people with wheelchairs Once i discussed with my wife i tried to get a refund which was offered the same day andcwas refused. Reason. Ourcroom had been made up already. Pathetic excuse as i doubt rooms are only made up once they are booked.. NEVER GOING TO BOOK HERE AGAIN.

We loved staying at The Melegran... an amazing boutique hotel which made the stay in Rovinj feel really special. Really excellent room and location is brilliant, right in the centre. Great personal shuttle service from their car park outside the city boundary too.

The room was beautiful and the AC worked great! It seems they thought of every amenity. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast from the cafe down the street was a wonderful fresh buffet which had many choices. The shuttle from the parking lot was a godsend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Melegran! The staff are incredible, and it was nice to have the golf cart to take us with our bags to and from our car. We chose Rovinj As a central location to visit ancient sites in Pula and Porec. I can’t recommend Rovinj highly enough! It is a beautiful small town with friendly people and the sea there is great!

Room was extremely small. We had a change in travel plans due to issues with the outbound flight and they still charged for 2 nights. It was the most expensive place we booked and some understanding would have been appreciated. Still enjoyed the 1 night we stayed there but for the price we could have slept 1 night on a luxury yacht.

Lovely 4 night stay in Old Town of Rovinj. We stayed in a suite with a bed, pullout bed and kitchenette. It was very clean and the hotel staff were very accommodating! Our bus arrived late and the cart driver stayed late to bring us to the hotel - which I doubt we would have found on our own. They also took us the bus station for an early morning departure and provided a huge take out breakfast. You are staying within the Old Town where people still live and there are many restaurants - so it was not quiet - but this just added to the “old town” feel. Breakfast was provided at a restaurant very close to hotel and it was excellent!

Timmy was fantastic….after we booked on line with Expedia he called us within 5 minutes to confirm our arrival time and explain where to get picked up by the golf cart that drove us into the old city to the hotel. After he checked us in he ran our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to the beautiful room. Timmy made us the best aperol spritz of the entire vacation and help us with our ferry reservation that we had struggled with all day. He suggested watching sunset from the church on top of the hill and made us reservations and one of the best and most unique restaurants of our lives (La Puntalina)

This property was stunning. Stunning. STUNN-ING. We loved Rovinj, and the Melegran was centrally located and near everything we could want. The breakfast was wonderful, and quite varied. My mom unfortunately had a fall before we got to Rovinj, and so couldn't do too much walking on the steep and slippery streets, but the Melegran staff came to our rescue multiple times, so we didn't have to miss out on anything. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was.

Hotel is very convenient, close to the sea. Having to park 1/2 kilometer away from hotel is not ideal even though hotel provides golf cart pickup. Access to our room was also not ideal as the staircase is narrow and virtually vertical.

The staff was so helpful with transportation to and from the hotel. We had to leave 5am in the morning and they drove us to our connection as well as packed a thoughtful breakfast for us! In addition, the decor of the hotel was gorgeous. And the hotel is surrounded by fantastic restaurants. And as a nightcap, they have a cute small bar that you hang out. Made our visit to Rovinj extra special to stay here. Hope we can return soon.

A M A Z I N G !!! Highly recommend ! We travelled from the US. Long and exhausting flight, the hotel was so accommodating. Making the arrival so easy with pick up at a parking area and the accompanying directly to the lobby for check in. This is obviously a very small quaint hotel. Do not expect large rooms or room service or things of the genre. This is small, cozy, accommodating , local, charming and just perfect. You are in the heart of the town. Walking distance from everything. Definitely worth staying and would go back , hence high recommendation

We stayed here for 2 nights before catching the ferry over to Venice. I was so impressed with the accommodations. The staff was so helpful and kind, checking us in early as our room was already available despite it being peak season. I’ve forgotten his name, but the gentleman who helped take our luggage up to our room was always cheerful & answered any questions we had. The breakfast was lovely, a great array of options to choose from. We travelled to Croatia for a wedding & this was on the tail end of our trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I fell in love with Old Town. When I return, I would definitely consider staying here again.

My room was very tiny but it was great for me, this small hotel was a short walk from the ferry which I came on from Venice. It was clean and very quiet. So many restaurants and shops close by. I’m so glad I chose to stay there.

The Melegran is a very cute hotel option right in the center of Rovinj. The hotel staff is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room was small, but clean, modern, and well decorated. To those who are driving and need to park, contact the hotel ahead of time. The GPS will not lead you to an area to which you can drive. You will need to meet the hotel staff who will lead you to the parking area and then drive you in a mini car to the hotel.

Rovinj is simply beautiful and the Melegran is right in the old pedestrian part of town. Close to everything. Breakfast was excellent. They even packed a breakfast for a 3:30 am departure. The hotel took us by golf cart to the hotel.

The reviews for this property were so enthusiastic, I was worried about being disappointed, but I had a wonderful experience. Getting a lift from the parking lot into town (and back) was seamless, the hotel was darling and very well-appointed, the breakfast was delicious and generous, and the town itself was magical, with cobblestone streets, darling shops, lovely restaurants, and wonderful swimming opportunities. My stay was absolutely magical.

The hotel is nicely located. Additional parking had to be payed separately. We were really disappointed with the Room Nr.13. It's small, okay. Interior is cutely designed with free water (if they clean the room).AC Display could not be turned off during the night, it was glowing. One day the room was not cleaned while we attended the whole day at a wedding. (3pm to 3am). And now the biggest problem is the noise. For a 300$ room you cannot expect banging doors of the neighbors and people talking the whole morning Infront of the stairway. The biggest problem was the neighbor upstairs where you could hear every step. Not just a little bit you can symbolical speaking even hear them ripping apart toilet paper. The breakfast is in the restaurant located closely. That was good but a very small choice. Only thing here is the location, I would not pay this price again and would rather choose a "real" hotel or buy a cheaper Airbnb. As there are basically nothing there that justificates a Hotel. (Restaurant, Pool, normal noisy rooms) We left a day earlier, Ana (manager) told us after telling her we weren't happy with the room that there is only room 14 available, which according to her is even louder. We had to prepay the room which is also unusual, so now all comes together and it makes sense. Because after not able to offer anything in return we left with paying the full amount when we arrived. Could of returned half a night or a night, but didn't. ( We payed 4 nights)

Our stay at the Melegran was delightful! The property is even better than the pictures. The 2 rooms with their own en-suite bathrooms were beautifully appointed. The upstairs has a futon style couch that can be used as an extra bed. We loved hanging out on the terrace too. There is laundry service about 50 yards away that is convenient and reasonable. The old town where the hotel is located is idyllic. Lots of dining and shopping and very charming. We can’t wait to come back again!

We loved everything about Meligran: the superb location right in the heart of old town and close to everything, the beautiful room, the picture perfect view from our room overlooking the old town but most of all, the outstanding care and service by staff. From the moment you step your foot on the property you feel loved and very special in the way they welcome you and treat you throughout your stay. This is the most helpful hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff is beyond amazing and courteous. The location is in the heart of old town Rovinj which is stunning. My husband got sick and the restaurant for breakfast brought food up to our room for no charge. That is SERVICE! I would move in and make this my retirement home if I could. I wish we had stayed longer.This hotel is 5 stars for a much cheaper price. It is an absolute steal!!

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. OK, the rooms were "cozy," but nicely decorated and comfy. Everything was new and clean. The mattress was very good. The bathroom was a tad small but modern, and the towels were thick and luxurious. The staff was great and the location is perfect for sightseeing. A full breakfast (included), served at a nearly restaurant, is great, although you have to keep reminding the wait staff about your order. On the whole, one of the absolute nicest places I've every stayed at. 10 out of 10.
