Very pleasant guest house/ hotel. But beware of Hotel.com pictures they are misleading. It appeared the room had private outside sitting area (and jacuzzi) It had neither and little natural light.

Beautiful boutique hotel with original details (wood floors, high ceilings etc) set around two courtyards and indoor/outdoor restaurant. The bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed the soaking tub in the beautiful spacious bathroom. Lovely pool (unheated) which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use and apparently two hot tubs you can reserve (they were full during our stay). The Aloe restaurant is nice and stays open pretty late which is helpful if you’re doing an astronomy tour. The staff were very friendly and arranged a packed breakfast for us when we had to check out early to catch a flight. We regret we only had one night here and would certainly return!

Of all the accommodations we rented during our 3 weeks in Chile, this was the only one that contacted us to prepare for our arrival. Upon arrival, the person at the reception offered us a tour of our room and then the accommodation, which is sensational. It was clearly going to be the best of our stay.
One of the reasons we also chose this accommodation was the Aloe restaurant, which had vegan options on their menu. We were hungry and went straight to the restaurant, but unfortunately, there weren’t real vegan options. There was either cheese or eggs used for the bread. The waitress was very kind and honest with us and replaced the bread with rice cakes.
We used the laundry service. Impeccable.
We used the pool and we were alone.
The reception always helped us with our questions with a smile.

The property is gorgeous, with inner courtyard gardens, pool, roof top hot-tubs and even massage! The meals were excellent and the staff friendly and communicative. The rooms , comfortable and the beds/bedding perfect for sleep. The bar, small, but well stocked and great place to get familiar with pisco sours!

Very nice little hotel with excellent restaurant. The proprietor is very helpful and speaks excellent English. We highly recommend this hotel. It is great place to stay for a day trip to the beautiful Elqui Valley.

Increíble, muy acogedor, remodelado recientemente. Perfecta mezcla entre algo moderno y autóctono. 100% recomendado, volveríamos de todas maneras.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. The recent renovation has been done with such an attention to detail and stunning designer fabrics and fixtures. Beds are very comfortable and the restaurant is also fabulous for both breakfast and dinner. Both courtyards are beautiful and Diego gave us great history about the property and area in perfect English. He is a fun story teller! One room had air conditioning and the other did not. We truly wished we could have stayed another night. Highly recommend.

Very nice historic hotel. The positives included the big bed, nice bathroom, decent breakfast, good pool area and nice courtyard area. The staff were excellent - spoke great English too which was a bonus for us. Nice quiet location in Vicuña. The main negative was the lack of air conditioning despite it being advertised as included. Only half of the rooms (the pool view rooms) seem to have working air con so our room, whilst very nice, was uncomfortably hot. A fan was provided which helped. I would give it a perfect score if there was air con.

This Hotel has a lot of potential, located a few blocks from the main square avoiding excess of street noise. A super well done renovation of a colonial house -unfortunately, not common in Chile- keeping the original architecture adding new paint, beautiful lightning and a new construction in the patio for new rooms and jacuzzis. Local cactus and trees for great common area with pool. There's a restaurant (ALÓE) with a short but well prepared menu and cocktails, maybe this was the highlight here. Our room (13) had a balcony, nice comfy bed and a weird but cozy shower room. Such a big bathtub but not enough water pressure to deliver as should be, can be understable regarding the drought in the area but inconsistent when having jacuzzis and swimming pool.Regarding the cleaningness, poor. Could be much better, there was dust and hair, here and there. Even a “araña de rincon” appeared, enough.

This was our favorite place to stay of the trip. The unique courtyard and adjoining restaurant were lovely. I would stay here again.
