The property seemed nice and clean. Check in was at 3 but wasn’t able to check in until later due to the room being cleaned while others were checking in with no issue. The room was VERY nice, with a full size fridge, stove top, microwave, and dishwasher the place was like home. Only complaint was the AC unit. Although the temp was set to 65-71 the room would not cool and was at a constant 82-84. Great staff, great appearance. Very recommended.

Beautiful place to stay

This hotel is not as advertised. It is advertised as having ADA accessible roll in showers but it doesn't. It is in a terrible area, not well cared for, or cleaned. The staff is rude bordering on hostile. And when we asked about a shower chair for the roll in shower they first offered us a patio chair and then flipped out on us. The finally allowed us to cancel but took 4 days to process refund. They also took a $150 incidental charge and another $127 on top of hotel charge which left us out $800 until refunded processed. Total mess.

The only complaint I saw was the bedding the blanket had a stain on it. It was quickly replaced, but I did not notice a hole and someone lip stick on sheet until later in the day. Rather than the bedding the hotel was kept clean.

Didnt get an chance to stay due to an unknown charge unable to be applied without my knowledge or consent unless present during checkin which charge was tried before checkin

The place was dirty. The carpet looks like it was never change from day 1 of being built let alone vacuumed. The whole place smelled like arm pit. The area outside was very scary. If I could have got my money back before checking in I would have. The all around area is not a very safe place. They only have a picture of the front of the hotel. I see why now. On the other side of the street is a manufacturing company. I’m not sure what was worse the weed smell or arm pit. I asked for an extra blanket and the lady at the front desk said she had to wait for security to get there. Hours has passed by and it was 10:00pm and we had to go back down to the front desk. I looked at her and she said yes can I help you. Really forgot that fast. Bed felt like it had 5 layers of sheets on it that it was rippled and not flat when you laid on the bed. Whatever they used to clean the place smelled bad. They had disinfected spray on the window ledge. I would never stay at that hotel ever again. Behind the hotel made me feel like I was In the deepest part of Philly. The person that rated this hotel an 8 must know the owner or someone that works there, that or they were blind and couldn’t smell. It I could rate it I would rate it a -0

The area around the property doesn't look or feel very safe, I do believe the staff and property do a good job at making the location safe despite the surrounding area, we arrived late every night but once I got onto the property we felt safe.

Nice chill laid back vibe and the rooms are great

Modest but very well equipped hotel with comfortable, clean large rooms and friendly staff. Lending area for games, movies, and kitchen appliances. Large dog run area in back of hotel. Industrial area near a factory. Excellent value for money!

Very enjoyable stay

Very good place

The hotel has an incidental fee greater than the room rental rate that they charged and while saying that it would automatically be credited upon check out, it has been almost three weeks and three separate phone calls to...still await the refund. The staff take no responsibility to rectify this. Shameful that a Candlewood Suites hotel has such horrible customer service at this site.

Lovely hotel. I didn't want to stay in the heart of the city so this location was a perfect option. Quiet and safe. Well maintained and easy to get to. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

My room had bugs all over the place including my bed. I have video proof as well. I went to the front desk for a room change. I received attitude from the staff.. as if I was complaining for an upgrade or something. I received no apologies ( I know they didn’t do it personally) however an apology would have been nice for the inconvenience. The new room had no bug but was just as dirty. Stains on the sheets, fixtures falling off the wall in the bathroom. Holes and stains on the walls… a lot of little things that adds up to too much. I have to end my stay early. And of course I didn’t receive a refund. Never staying there again.

Excellent visit

Not like the pictures. But considering the area and and the state penitentiary across the street. Hotel is better than ok. A little aged is my term. AC works but was awful in my room. Either too cold or too hot all night on the bed. That was awful. Area around hotel is not very safe

The property is always clean. Love the free washing machines. The staff is nice and courteous for the most part. My last visit the reception on the TVs was the worst but i dealt with it. All in all an ok stay.

The reception is bright and inviting, the check-in was easy and friendly. The room is very smart with a fully working mini kitchen. This is how a motel should be.

I was surprised how quickly I was able to get a room. The staff was very accommodating.

Excellent hotel! Very clean just arrive early as the parking is limited but there is parking on the street directly behind the hotel after unloading

Staff was rude and had an infestation of ants in my room. When I spoke with the staff about it seemed as though it wasn’t an issue. I wasn’t even offered a different room. Will not stay again.

Room was not Ready at 8:30pm I had to pay $150 Deposit after Room was pay for already 🙃 have to wait 3 or 4 Business days to get my Deposit back!!

Hotel was nice. However as a construction worker I can tell where corners were cut in assembly. It’s the minor details that scream the most such as worn out furniture or half caulking the tub and toilet. Staff was amazing. Greeted everytime through each interaction and was willing to help with anything that I needed. Room cleanliness was a 5.5/10. The kitchen area was clean but the carpet was not vacuumed and nor was the bathroom floor adequately swept and mopped. Again the furniture was also worn the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The vents on the air conditioner were also dirty and by dirty I mean there were cigarette butts and etc in them which stopped me from even turning it on bc who would want that type of air circulating. Overall stay was a 6.5/10. For the price of $865, I couldn’t complain about much like I said it’s just minor details and a little more housekeeping that would’ve boosted it for me.
