Staff were really good and friendly, breakfast was good, room was clean and serviced daily. Only issue was the surrounding area, littered with needles on the streets, prostitutes and shady-looking characters - no fault of the hotel or staff. Security was also good at the hotel, despite the surrounding area we felt safe enough.
4.2
Really fashionable hotel in an area that isn't very nice in the evenings. Great services from nice people. You can see the room and thre hotel on youtube under karlmarkinternational.

Being transparent here. Next to hotel there are people doing drugs and zombie like. I jumped my father in a Taxi to another hotel. When making the claim hotel staff was not flexible, witch is a much as important as transparency.

Nice place in Athens, 10 min walk from main sites.
4.2
This boutique hotel was awesome. The staff were very good. Breakfast was good. The room was good. The area is not the best but i felt very safe in the hotel.
4.2
The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. However the location is located in a very bad part of town with prostitution, garbage and people shooting drugs next door. Don’t know how it got rated 4 stars because to me it was more like 2 to 3 stars hotel.
4.2
The hotel was nice, the service excellent and our room spacious and very comfortable. It is very close to a major subway station from where we walked all over Athens. The free breakfast provided both hot and cold choices and was filling. BUT, the noise level from the traffic and people enjoying themselves in this neighborhood were was very high. We were on the third floor with closed windows and air conditioning on and I still couldn’t sleep well due to the noise. My husband slept through it all as he isn’t sensitive to it.
4.2
Surrounding areas are dirty and not so safe
4.2
The hotel is in a very unsafe area of Athens with people using drugs openly on the streets and with homeless people sleeping on the street very close to the hotel.
You need to ring a bell to enter the hotel even during the day!
The area is loud in the evening due to drug users arguing or fighting.
Staff are great and very helpful.
Nice hotel with great staff but in the wrong neighbourhood. Always read the reviews before booking!
4.2
The hotel is in a very bad area of Athens, with prostitutes and drug dealers around. Sleeping at night is difficult and the surroundings quite bad. In tge room you have to keep the roller blind down which makes it dismal and dark...
4.2
Very friendly staff , great breakfast. All was perfect !
4.2
Outside the hotel it was very noise at night
4.2
If you want to walk among the homeless and drug atticks then this is the place to go. Extremely unsafe neighborhood. The odor of stale urine is everywhere by the hotel, and the litter is not so good.
4.2
All the staffs are super friendly. Rooms are comfortable and it is conveniently located near the Hondo Center which is where the hop on hop off busses are. Yes, it is in a sketchy area but as long as you pay attention, then you will be fine.
4.2
Hotel facilities are top, staff, room cleaness very good.
Location terrible, once you step out the front door street is very dirty and it is invaded by drug addicts and homeless people. They never bothered us but took a lot away from.your stay.
4.2
Very friendly staff and overall totally acceptable room if you ignore the thin windows and extremely noisy environment. The whole area around is sketchy at best - dangerous at worst. Many homeless people, open drug consumption and prostitution just across the street.
4.2
The location is convenient but dirty. The interior is new and clean. It’s a good choice if you don’t mind the street.
4.2
Located in an area with many homeless people

Extremely helpful and friendly staff! The hotel itself is very nice and like an oasis - in a challeniging surrounding (street persons, prostitutes). However, we had in fact no problems. It is near Omonia station which makes the location as a good starting point to explore Athens and its surroundings, as many one-day-journeys start at Omonia. And the hotel staff is really a highlight!
4.2
Nice breakfast offered but a bit much noisy and dirty around neighborhood.
4.2
Although I like the hotel, staff and breakfast. The daily walk to the hotel was sketchy at best. It's the most well kept building the seedy neighborhood. It was walkable to most tourist sites but the surrounding environment was not pleasant to walk in day or night. Just being honest.
4.2
The room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast could be richer.
4.2
This place was amazing. The staff is super friendly and courteous. They have free breakfast and parking lot is next to the hotel. A small fee for parking.
4.2
The staff was good.
Poor breakfast.
The location was very bad.
4.2
A nice place to stay, safe and with nice people.

The hotel it’s really good ! Nice and clean . The installations are good !
4.2
Spacious clean room and friendly staff. Great location!

They made us feel right at home, like we were part of the family. We absolutely loved staying there and when we return to Athens we would stay there again. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so beautiful. Kim Gilbert

Tins surprisingly has larger than the normal rooms that we’ve stayed in Athens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a 4 min walk from Omonia station. I’m very particular about showers and they had a rain shower head instead of a handheld ones. For taller people like me this is a plus. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and actually room size was great. Room slippers, shower gel and shampoo was provided which for some is a plus. All in all we enjoyed our short stay at Tins Boutique Suites!
4.2
Hotel was very good, service was excellent, including lunches. The only downside for us as a family with 2 kids was the location. Otherwise everything was spot on. Thank you crew for a good service
4.2
Situated in run down area.
Difficult to fond somewhere suitable to eat.
Siutable for a one night stay.
Noisy street at night.
4.2
Pros: clean hotel
Cons: in a bad neighborhood, staff not knowledgeable
4.2
Hotel was ok, but it was in a very bad location that felt not very safe. Prostitutes were waiting clients in front of the hotel. The noise felt from the room was high.
4.2
Great customer service, nice room, very safe! If you want to watch something on the TV, do remember to bring adapters to connect to it as it only had local channels. Otherwise, great stay :)
4.2
The hotel is great. The area around is a little sketchy with hookers across the street most of the time. The hotel is completely safe though and no one bothered us on the 6 minute walk from the metro at 1 am so even though the area looks bad we had no issues
4.2
Very nice little hotel. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
The neigbourhood is not at all nice, but it is easy to get to other areas. Close to metro, and to Athen's great sights!
4.2
Okay! The staff here are literally amazing! So kind! So helpful! So resourceful! They have cute quirks like a compliment book! The check in lady walked us to our room and gave us a packet of places to go and eat! Very kind folks. The hotel itself is okay- comfortable, definitely 3 star and nothing fancy. Unfortunately the area around this hotel is so bad! There is prostitution right outside and on the day of check in my family and I witnessed someone shooting up drugs right outside. I remember, feeling scared that I would step on a needle or get robbed. I don’t think this is the place for a single traveler. The area in which the hotel is located, is quite sketchy and dangerous but once you get like 10 minutes away from the hotel, you’re in a okay spot. Near a train station!
