Perfect hotel on nice location close to the old city. Excellent service, I had to change my travel plans and check out two days earlier. The receptionist told me he would try to change my booking with the booking agency. That worked and I was compensated for the two days. All in all, perfect hotel with complementary coffee and cookies every day, very kind staff and nice room and shower. Excellent value for money. Recommend!

We had an excellent experience at the property. Staff work amazing and friendly. Very helpful. Just a nice day. Thank you

An acceptable place to stay, conveniently located next to the old city and the Norman area - But do not expect anything exceptional ...

Great hotel with good location to surrounding areas. Good breakfadt buffet, great Chef who single handingly cooks everyones meals.

Staff was great. Would have loved to have been able to engage w them more; just a little more English would made a world of difference. Great location. B'fast wasn't that good, but would definitely recommend and is budget friendly.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are spaceous and clean. The stafff is great. There is a dispensary right out the door, there’s a bakery in the corner. All the important places are reachable by Grab (Uber in Thailand) not more than a 5-10 min ride. For less than 90 BHT. Will stay here again. Love Chiang Mai!!!

Icon Park Hotel was an excellent choice to stay during our family visit to Chiang Mai. The rooms were great and very spacious, and everything worked as intended. The star of the show was Chef Kesorn. The only cook that prepared all of the made to order breakfast entrees and dishes during our breakfast meals. She knocked it out of the park. Quick and quality meals made my stay the best. Chef Kesorn was the main reason I booked an additional two days at Icon Park instead of moving to another hotel. I will definitely stay again if ever in Chiang Mai. Chef Kesorn deserves a raise Icon Park management.

Great location with a Buddhist temple a few doors down, just in case you were looking for a place to go meditate. While the staff make a stellar effort to do what they can for me, but becomes limited by they're in this position with their hands toed because they don't speak English. I don't even know if I should expect such. When I was just taking a stroll down the boulevard, maybe a block, I'm walking into a long row of eateries, Native Thai smiles, joyful and welcoming cooking away, a haven for those who like to have adventurous eating experiences and discover great and varied delights. Was eating a lot of Phad Thai along with a 24 oz Singha beer every night I was there and it was hot. The staff were very helping in getting taxi arrangements set up, great system, again with smiles on their faces.

Overall is great with CP value…if the room will turn on the air conditioner before we can will be the best.

First of all the girls at front desk speak very little English with no help for guest’s questions. The hotel and room full of old smell. Shower area molded spots. The bath towel very old. I paid same amount of money stayed in another hotel near Nimman Road, it’s 10 times better. I was very regret to change and give this hotel a try. The reviews about this hotel is untrue.

I and my wife had a great stay here. The location was convenient and the staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was super clean. The only problem with the room was the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it in the morning!

The location is great for food and entertainment right in front of the hotel you have KFC And Pizza Hut and cafes.

Single pane windows did not block out the karaoke going on behind the hotel every night until 12am.
Doors are not sealed, all hallway noise comes through into rooms as if there was no barrier.
Doors are heavy so walls shake when neighbours lose their door. Woke up several times in the middle of the night.
Thin walls, heard neighbouring guests arguing for hours.
Gecko came into our room through the gap under the unsealed doors.
Ants infested washroom sink. Woke up to dozens of ants all over sink, soap, anything left out.
Towels are old, ripped with holes.
All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately due to lack of any noise insulation, our experience was poor.

Great location, very clean with very helpful staff

Very clean and large rooms. Modern decor and minimalistic.
Great staff and manager at front desk very helpful. Used hotel laundry services which were very good but a little pricey with a minimun weight requirement.
They have water heaters so was tough having a hot shower. Need to replace towels in general.
Overal all a pleasant stay and would stay there again.

I would have given a higher rating except the first 2 nights my room was on the front side of the hotel and there is a bar just in front. There was a band playing every night until midnight, it was loud. The noise was enough that watching Television was diffucult, sleeping, very difficult.I was then moved to a room across the on the back side of hotel and all was good.

Front staffs are not excited to serve and greet clients when checking in and did not offer to help the luggage. Light switches are hard to find, Bathroom towels can be cleaner and newer, there is no outlet for hair blower in the bathroom and hair blower is hidden on top of the safe box ( it’s hard to find ) , there are dirty stains on the tv stand areas. The one and only Elevator is dirty. I will not come back again !

EXTREMELY noisy property with a front desk that again (as is so oftgen in overated Thailand) uses their excuse of limited English skiils (even when the guest speaks Thai) as an excuse to not answer guest questions or inquiries. Please select another property in Chiang Mai other than this property.

Property not that great and breakfast very weak

Well situated.
But the noise from the bar in front of the hotel could be a bit annoying

This is far from a 4 star hotel- pros: nice pillows
Cons: check-in was late without even an apology. But I bet if you check out late they will charge you. Sheets were dirty, linen was old and some even had holes, the room is old and even the hangers were broken…Room is not sound-proof, the manager told me there will be singing but didn’t tell me it was a whole band with bass playing all night. And they knew it was an issue, yet they don’t have ear plugs (how is this supposed to be hospitable). Breakfast was not worth the pay, some of the “hot” dishes were cold…breakfast was from 6:30-10:00 and I came at 8. Food was already cold, especially the fried rice. The staff was acting as if they didn’t want you to be there. One of the staff literally just gave me my key card without even a single word…not even a hello? In summary, I would not stay here again.

The Icon is one of the strangest hotels I have stayed at, it appears to be a renovated mall or office tower. Overall, the building and room are clean. In fact. Our room was quite spacious with a nice bathroom and waterfall shower.
The breakfast was fresh but lacking as the menu stayed the same every day. A change in fruits or hot food would have been nice.
The rooftop bar is completely closed down and should be noted on the listing. It’s also not in the same building, it’s across the street. The views were the main reason I stayed at the hotel, I was very disappointed to find the rooftop was shut down.
Across from the hotel is a busy bar that goes to midnight. It can be incredibly loud! Request a room on the back of the hotel or you will deal with that noise every night until midnight.

Check-in and check-out were fast. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms and very large beds. We hated the shower. The water changed from scalding hot to cold. Very difficult to control the shower water temperature. The shower drain was so slow we had to constantly shut off the water during the shower to wait for it to drain, so it would not flood into the bathroom and toilet area. The shower wasted a lot of our time. We were located near the bar across the street. Very loud music every night during bed time.

clean quiet basic room near everything .

All the staff were helpful for my (modest) requests and they booked a tour for me. Didn't try the breakfast. Comfy bed, decent size room. Easy to reach from the airport (taxi, Grab). Not far to walk into the old town area if you don't mind the heat. Only annoyance was that I couldn't borrow an iron and board (they send out laundry elsewhere) but that's minor.

The property is definitely not 4star hotel.
It is not clean. Condition is old.
I would rate it 3star hotel.

When you walk through the corridor, you wouldn’t know that you were in a hotel. Odd interior design. Rooms have a Japanese feel. Bed is on the ground (no bed base) but be area is raised. Possibly add some lighting for the vanity in the bathroom. There is none there now. Ligthstrip at bedhead needs to be replaced.

Good hotel with a 24 hour KFC right out front. We got in pretty late and it was nice and easy to get a quick bite at KFC. There is also a night market just down the road that offers lots of food options.
4.0 / 5.0
Easy to get to places. Loud music outside at night.
3.0 / 5.0
Overall, my stay was alright! I really liked the room but it was extremely noisy. Be prepared for nightly live music right outside until 12 am! I found that the hotel staff was nice but not very well informed on activities and attractions. I had asked to book an activity through them and they said the activity wasn’t available. I ended up booking it myself online but was a bit annoyed when I got there and other people had booked through their hotels and paid significantly less than I did. It wasn’t a big deal though…perhaps just a mistake on their part.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you intend on being out late every night and aren’t an early sleeper like myself!

Nice hotel.

This seemed like one of the more modern hotels in Chiang Mai so it felt very welcoming. Everything was up to standard with AC, made beds, very large rooms. Only reason for not a 5 star review was that it can get noisy at night with the bar outside.

Really enjoyed our stay at icon park but were very disappointed when they lost our 200 baht deposit when going to check out. Not okay
