Close to everything with in Gloucester,the train station,Gloucester Quays and Cathedral ,The hotel was clean and all things were easy to use e.g tv, shower was large clean and easy to adjust temperature..A good stay .

Staff really helpful, informal and willing to help. Price excellent The location with windows facing the street were a bit of an inconvenience - the one negative.

Advertised as having parking, it doesn’t. The noise from the street through the night was ridiculous, my room overlooked the central bus stops.

To be honest, this is not a hotel. They are simply renting out very low standard rooms paint is coming off the walls the windows are thin as can be you have to listen to all the drunks and druggies outside constantly we were on the ground floor. You couldn’t open the curtains Was like a dungeon room bedding is very basic. The sheets don’t even cover the mattress protector which is completely worn out. The towels are very basic. The drain in the shower was blocked. We reported it on day one nothing was done. The location is fabulous so central to everything we needed expect the neighbours behind but you can ignore that if the hotel standard was better .

Very clean, smart and obviously recently refurbished. Friendly reception. New furniture, but very cramped. Double bed so close to wall in front that I scraped my shins four times in less than 24 hours. The television is mounted on the same wall, so avoiding the corners of the bed frame caused me twice to strike my shoulder on the lower corner of the TV. Shower room also smart, but hot water supply is extremely hot. We could not work out how to get any cold water from the shower and could only get it to range between too hot and scaldingly hot. We were on a tight schedule so had no time to mention this before we left.

A town centre hotel with potential but in need of refreshing.

Really nice and clean hotel with good service. Very centrally located but for that reason also some noise from the street. We really enjoyed this stay and will come back again.

Good bathroom, but poor mattress and linens. Also dirty carpet.

Very pleasant stay, greeted warmly by staff. Nice spacious room in a nice location in central Gloucester, very close to the train and bus stations.

The property is in a very central location and there were good facilities in the room which was a good size and very clean but we didn't find any other facilities in the hotel. However there are cafes, bars etc in easy walking distance.

Great accomodation for the price. Very clean, plenty of facilities in the room - including a microwave, wine glasses, crockery & cutlery. The beds were really comfy and the shower was lovely. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.

It was horrible, I was given a room on the top floor and the elevator was out of order! The room itself was very small and had no window except for a tiny skyhall. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it at all...

Great access to town and nearby amenities

It was a fab place. Will definitely be our place to stay from now on in gloucester. 5 stars on all departments. I dropped oncevto 4 star only because the bed was to soft for me. That us a matter of taste though and would not keep me away for future visits.

I loved the convenience of being between the train station and the commercial areas. Good, clean accommodations.

Compact,clean,excellent facilities

Good basic hotel excellent location, clean good staff, this was my third visit and i shall stay again.

1. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and less than five minutes from the bus and coach station. The hotel also has a 24 hour front desk. 2. We stayed there for a week and during the whole time and had no running hot water in the sink. The shower had hot water only. We complained to the front desk who said they would get maintenance to fix it. However they didn’t turn up during the whole week we were there to fix it. The front desk did nothing to keep us informed about what was going on. We had to go and ask them each day what the status was, and their response was always the same. We’ll get ask maintenance to come and fix it. . I am really disappointed that they didn’t care or actively try to resolve the issue or keep us informed about what was going on. In the end, we didn’t have hot water for our entire trip. So although they had a 24 hr front desk, I’m not sure what they did, because they were not able to actively follow up and address guests concerns. 3. Room service was spotty at best. They were supposed to clean the room everyday. Sometimes they came, sometimes they didn’t. When they did come, they did’t replace dirty dishes or towels, or straighten the room. They mostly came in and emptied the bins. In 7 days staying there, they only replaced dirty linen and dishes at most 2 times.

The location of this hotel is excellent and easy to find. Check in was straightforward and quick. The room itself was a good size and had a separate sitting area with a sofa, TV, fridge, kettle and microwave. There was a good choice of cutlery and glasses too. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet during the night. The only downside was the temperature which was boiling! I turned the radiators off but no windows opened so it made it feel a little stuffy. Overall very happy though and good value for money

Room was not cleaned very well. Staff gave wrong room and 2 people came into our room unannounced. Triple check your room reservation when checking in. Was not offered any remedy for the inconveniences.

Ideal location, spacious room, fab shower. No complaints

Hotel was clean and amenities were of fairly good standard could do with air conditioning but overall reasonable quality

It was in a decent location for what we were looking for. Extra fans would have been helpful to keep us cool during sleeping hours. Lost some food due to having the electric off when we were not in the room (room key has to be locked in the port and only 1 room key provided). Only purchase food for the next morning as you are returning would be my recommendation. Other than that, it was a good place to rest.

We had a one night stay which was very comfortable with a clean and modernised room but the view was not particularly inspiring. We had minimal but very polite interaction with the reception staff. The hotel was pretty good value and the location was convenient to the center and docks area. The one downside was there was no onsite parking despite the website saying there was. This was the entire reason we booked this hotel over the more characterful New Inn. So this was a little frustrating. Other than that, a good stay.

Hotel is a regular place we stay, staff helpful, we normally get a discount on the parking at the shopping centre , but the girl on reception, who said she had worked there for 7 years , knew nothing about it , very strange
