Overall, the hotel is really nice and it is a wonderful area. The only drawback is that I wasn’t crazy about the bed. It was a little too firm for me. But it was very clean, quiet, even with the hotel, being full and very close to nice restaurants and a movie theater and bowling alley. Tru by Hilton seems to be designed mostly for those who will not be in the room very much. Not really designed for comfort. I believe it’s designed for a quick stay. Not complaining. It was great for us, but I would stay someplace more comfortable and more roomy if I was going to stay for a longer period and be in the room more often.

Room was small and very minimalist, but still neat and clean. Walls were very thin, so that we could hear everything next door! Very very noisy all night long, people running up & down the hall, yelling at each other...there was a party/gathering in the parking lot with lots of loudness all night long. Breakfast was good, presented well, plenty of seating. We would probably use this hotel again if we were guaranteed a room at the end of the hall!

Nice clean, safe and quiet. Close enough to the university for convenient travel bit far enough away to avoid the noise and traffic.

It was close to campus and had a great coffee shop within walking campus. Staff was very nice and so friendly.

We really loved and enjoyed our stay here. I really enjoyed how clean it was and the shower was really great. We will stay here and only here if we ever return to Oxford.

The Tru seems to be the Best Western equivalent of Hilton, except not as comfortable. There's no dresser, no real closet, and the "furniture" looks like it came from Office Depot (in fact, I have bookshelves at home that look like this stuff). There was also a desk, in a corner, with ZERO lighting. Kind of makes it impossible to view this as a place that professionals can stay if they have work on the road to complete.

Loved this stay! In the last week I have stayed in Monroe for a conference, Little Rock for VA, and Oxford stay was phenomenal!!! Be back very soon and often since my 1st grandchild will be raised there.

What I didn’t like is the young kids who were in the room next to us that started slamming their room door over and over starting at 1 am each night several times and running the hallways because they were drunk. Called the front desk to let them know and she said her hands were tied on what to do because she did call their room but they didn’t stop. So since they woke my entire family up for the second night we left earlier than expected because it was just disrespectful. Other than that first night it was so quiet and great and is a really great hotel besides the noise from the college kids. A protocol should be in place for situations like that with the hotel employees so they can in force rules of noise control.

I did not receive housekeeping services. I asked front desk if this could be done and was told they all left for the day. Also, while very comfortable, my bed was made up with a fitted sheet, flat sheet, the a bed skirt, followed by a quilt. Not a comforter. A bed skirt?!?

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. This was a quick trip, just one night, but this hotel is always a pleasant stay at a reasonable price.

The hotel is not a luxury hotel, but it has great amenities and was very clean. The room was a little small, but had everything you need. Elevators are pretty fast and we did not have to wait long. There is a pool table and games in the lobby which is a nice touch. The only con for us was that we booked for 2 nights and there was only 2 bath towels. We like clean towels and we do not do room service every day. Overall, it is a great value and a nice hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

I travel a great deal with family and alone. I have stayed at a number of different hotels through Hotels.com. By far Tru is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I am now a member of the Hilton Rewards and when I travel I will be staying at a Tru.

really liked the hotel, clean and quiet. only complaint, the refrigerator in my room did not work.

Everything was great

New, clean & modern. It was kind of away from town & had to drive wherever we wanted to go but not far.

Room was clean and comfortable, didn't like the pillows, and there was only a little bit of body wash in the shower. Was very quiet and i did get a good night's rest. Would suggest a night light so i don't have to leave light on in bathroom. I like the concept of the shampoo, conditioner, body wash they have but i have arthritis in my hands and it makes it hard to squeeze to get the product out of the bottle. Staff was very nice . Weird that there was no one at the front desk when i checked out at 4 am just a box that says to put keycards in

This is a nice clean quiet hotel I felt very welcomed breakfast was great employees were very nice and always had smiles on their faces!!! Loved the shower I was looking for a microwave but it was down stairs in the lobby

Cold shower and front desk response was extremely upsetting. Hot water not working, but I had to take a shower and leave on time. Sunday morning desk person escalated the situation by claiming I yelled at her and was disrespectful. Truth is I assertively registered my complaint as well as anyone who is freezing cold out of a shower they paid premium rates for. She seemed more concerned w the respect she received and how people should be allowed to speak to her. In light of situation I said sorry you have to deal w me and I know you don’t control these situations, but this is no way to handle it on your end. She continued to argue w me saying I was yelling and disrespectful. I know how to register a complaint. My tone was not soft or nice, but it was not loud or disrespectful to anyone personally. Plumbing is in need of repair and it’s a known situation according to discussions w manager. I was not made aware prior to my cold shower, but I found out the hard way.

Extremely too loud in the rooms. You could hear everything going on all around you. From things being dropped on the floor to showers and tv.
