We were visiting Hermann for our daughter’s wedding. The room was beautiful and help set the weekend for the family gathering. We would stay there again.

Amazing veiws of Hermann. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was okay.

We had an excellent time in Hermann and the Joseph Weinert room was clean and cozy!
4.7
The town is very scenic which added to the overall experience
4.7
Beautiful setting and unique cottages

I loved the cottage privacy of the property. I didn't like that it was a surprise. We had no idea that we wouldn't be in the main building in town or that the drive would be up such steep hills. It was a little scary!

Excellent stay! You must stay here when you are in Hermann!
4.7
It was a nice getaway, more private place to stay.

Very pretty room, clean and bed was super comfy. All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly.

The property itself is beautiful, unique, clean and comfortable. If you are a bicycle rider however, steer clear because the owner is hostile to bikers. If you are riding the KATY trail in summer and want to leave early, breakfast is not until 8:30 AM. We missed it because we left at 6:30 to beat the heat. As far as parking bikes overnight, a very nice general manager said we could bring them to our rooms or put them in the hallway. She was sternly overruled by the owner who made us keep our bikes in the "elevator room" in full view through the glass of passers-by and other guests. Two of the four bikes were $6000 new. When we asked to use a convenient spigot / hose at the TinMill Restuarant across the parking lot to rinse off dust, we were approved by the nice GM but once again the owner intercepted us and literally would not let us hold the hose to wash off our bikes - she had to control the hose and the process. I am not sure the owner is aware of the economic impact visiting bicycle riders have on the town of Hermann. One last thing. If the owner "offers" to lock up your bikes in a back room, politely decline because the first employee does not arrive on property to unlock the room until breakfast, which once again is later than the industry standard.

My husband and i enjoy the cottage rooms.. they are quiet and romantic. The decor and atmosphere is a dream for this girl! I love the slow pace and the relaxed feeling. We love walking everywhere and how peacful it is. Its a great place to spend an anniversary. Our favorite place to stay in Missouri.

We had a wonderful time! We were returning customers and for good train! The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming! The room was beautiful and quiet! The breakfast was delicious! If i had to say one negative was i was asked if we had dietary restrictions. We both do and i assumed because of our previous stay that the restrictions really meant something. We don't eat pork. Last time they were prepared and we had turkey bacon i believe it was. The first morning we were asked if we had dietary restriction but there was no options provided we were offered less foid because no options. So this morning we just didn't bother to say anything and ate around it. Of course this email detail is obviously to us not a reason to stay here again..next time we just won't mention it and work around it. We were very pleased with everything else!! Thank you for the great memories!! We will be back!!

Awesome stone cottage, beautifully and appropriately appointed to help us feel we stepped back in time to the 1800’s. We wanted to bring the bathroom shower back home with us. Only negatives were we couldn’t start the gas stove, nor was there a way to cover the window in the door to our room. Last, the breakfast service was wonderful, offering different breakfasts each morning. This will definitely be an annual tradition.
One note for midweek travelers to Hermann. Since the heavy tourist traffic is on the weekends, not all businesses are open on Tues-Wed or Wed-Thurs. Plan accordingly…

I wish I could give it 15 stars. We travel a lot and this is our new favorite. We stayed in one of the cottages on the hill. It was a large comfortable room. My only complaint is the chairs in the room were old and not comfortable. Everything else was exceptional. Great breakfast. Right in town so close to food, shopping and drinks. We enjoyed the quiet and the views that were beautiful. Parking is great and right next to you room. Our stay was so great we are already planning on returning next year.

Transfer service from registration to the private cottages is much needed. Golf cart, mini van, UTV, etc.

Love the shower. Nice place had a lot of hills though.

The property was beautiful sitting on the top of a hill looking over quaint Hermann. The breakfast in the Inn was delicious! Will definitely stay at the Hermannhof on my next visit!

We enjoyed our stay! We stayed at the Brahms and it was absolutely amazing. I fell in love with the cottage but couldn’t book a specific room directly on the Expedia app. I called the property and they helped me coordinate it. We really, really appreciate the front office lady. I wish I remembered her name. She was sooo helpful. She gave great recommendations and even had the hours of businesses around the hotel memorized. She was working her tail off. We have stayed in a lot of hotels/vacation rentals and this room just made you feel like you were in another world. Absolutely stunning. The Trolley in town is a must. We went in March so it wasn’t out of control wild, but I can see a younger me really enjoying the busy season :) We don’t really drink wine, but all of the wineries around town were super accommodating and really made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and the town in general. We will be back for sure!

The place / facility was just perfect. We planned to shop but got 2 coupons for free wine tasting and a beer sampling. Awesome small town.

Super nostalgic! Felt as if I was back in Germany. Clean, cozy, exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunately we stayed when temp was below zero. Room was in Theresa’s Garden in one of the cottages on the hill. Private entrance. Suite was furnished very nice with antique furniture and bathroom was top notch. A little cold first night because we could not get fireplace working. They sent staff after hours and once we got it working room was very comfortable despite -7 degrees outside. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. We will be back…in warmer times. Top notch Inn.
4.7
Our room was great, however our fireplace never worked and our refrigerator kept turning off. We had to leave and go to the main Inn to eat breakfast. The food was subpar and I felt like I could have got better food at IHOP. We stayed two nights and the second morning we didn’t eat because the food was bad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but I felt it was way overpriced for what we got.
