Very clean, it gets to job done.

Great little place for the price. Bit difficult to find on Google maps
Also check out is 10am not 11am like most places.
Cute, but basic and as expected
Good location
No coffee in room

The room was a little worn, but clean and very spacious for Japan. It was well worth the price, especially considering comparable hotels in Tokyo. The location was excellent and staff was friendly and helpful.

Good stay, Great location. The room was small but you can manage. Toilet had all the bells and whistles. A/C worked well. Bed was low to the floor but after a long day of discovering Tokyo you won’t mind! M/Red line train is two blocks down and connects you to a lot of tourists locations. Shinjuku and Golden Gai are walking distance. Yes, we would stay here again. P.S. grab Al Pastor tacos at the corner Taco spot, right across from the hotel. Thank me later.

No suitable spaces for luguage and poor arrangement of spaces

Clean, just enough space , comfortable. Easy walk to all that is shinduku

If you’re like me and all you need is a bed and shower in a convenient location, you’ll love it. After checking in I had zero interaction with the staff, but I’m fine with that. If you need a lot of assistance I don’t know how it’ll go. The room was clean and the location is super convenient for getting around.

Great, quirky accommodation in a very nice neighbourhood. The Udon across the road is awesome.

Location is close to the station and opposite a family mart so very convenient.
Rooms are small which is expected but we're very aware because the bed took the whole width but you need to walk on the bed to get to the fridge and table. Some extra hooks and small shelves around would be really useful and a small table so it doesn't feel like you are living on the floor.

We absolutely loved bookteabed!
Checkin process was simple.
The room was quite spacious, enough space to walk as well as have two to three open suitcases on the floor. They provide a little mini fridge, a tv, and a heater.
The bed is really comfortable, mattress and pillows are on the firmer side, the bed is on the floor Japanese style. Really spacious bed for two people, between a full and queen size bed.
The bathroom is spacious, the toilet is a bidet, they provide spare toothbrushes and razors, and towels and robes.
The shower includes shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water was very hot (if you want it to be).
Check out was at 10:00 a.m.
They held our bags after check out at no additional cost so we could continue to explore the city before our flight.
The Shinjuku Gyoemmae is a two min walk from the hotel and connects to everywhere in Tokyo.
There's a family Mart across the street open 24/7 where you can buy meals, snacks, water for about 120 yen.
Lots of restaurants and other shops nearby to buy basic necessities.
If you are looking for cheap coffee and a quick breakfast (think croissant), Lawsons is just down the road.

Excellent value, clean comfortable and stylish. The area was nice and quiet and near a really nice park but also close to a train station so we’ll connected. Really enjoyed our stay here. It was my first time to Japan and I can’t wait to go back.

Great hotel situated near Shinjuku garden and wonderful location to explore Tokyo. Room is simple and well laid out, clean and comfortable. Good service from staff throughout, and easy walk from nearby metro station.

Quiet and quaint. Not flashy, but a really nice business hotel.

The bed is the most comfortable.

The place is good, very clean and cosy.

Very cost effective, small, simple and clean, 1 min walk to subway station, no elevator use after 10pm so be ready to get in some steps on the stairs. I stayed on the 5th floor of this 6 story building. Didn’t mind the stairs at all but it is very very narrow on the ground level (there was a fridge blocking the stairs partially). I’d stay there again tho for the price.

This is a really cute hotel with a bustling cafe on the 1st floor. I really enjoyed my stay here!

The only minor complaint is that the bed was a litte hard for both of us, but overall the stay was excellent. The hotel is located only a short walk from Shinjuku gyoen station. Interesting book cafe.

Great location. Close to public transportation and a healthy walking distance from shopping and restaurants. There was supposedly a common area with some amenities but I never found out what that was. I'm not sure if there was any washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom felt spacious but maybe I was used to smaller spaces after being in Japan for a week. There was plenty of space to walk around the bed and there is a closet with hangers to put away your luggage. The bed was pretty clean but there was one day that I saw a spot on the sheets that made me question if the sheets had been washed before checked in (we opted out of housekeeping during our stay). The front desk staff was nice. There is a small space to hold your luggage which is kind of awkward because it can overflow quickly.
My only concern was the lock and outlets. They almost seem like a fire hazard because the lock looks unconventional and not intuitive so I would definitely fumble with it if there was an emergency in the middle of the night. Our plugs got really warm after some use and they aren't in very convenient spots (behind the headboard or at chest-level without a table to rest the appliance on underneath).
