we had no heat in our room, maintenance came to fix it , heat work for 1 hr and then shut off , we then had no heat all night , in morning called desk, again couldn’t fix heat & wanted us to go to another room, no offers to assist us with our baggage , front desk supervisor didn’t seem to care at all , she was then confused what room to put us into , very unsympathetic to my husband is elderly & mobility is compromised with other heath problems , i had to keep asking her “ , can we get some help to move , can someone come with a cart “She had a flat affect / disingenuous , she didn’t seem to listen at all, finally after numerous times of explaining we could use some help to move all the bags items from room to room she then got a cart & then was confused to what room to put us in & then gives us the swipe card to another room & the swipe card doesn’t work , therefore havimg to leave my unwell husband standing alone in hallway while i had to take elevator down to the desk to tell the swipe cards she gave us don’t work , she then reprograms them , so i go back up to the room & am late for my meeting & go to take a shower only to find out the shampoo dispenser all are empty! it was not a pleasant stay , not once did anyone apologize or anything , this was second time we experienced no heat in the room and sleeping in our winter coats for the night in past 2 yrs , this is the hotel i usually stay at due to business i have to do in RedDeer and my contract work at Joffree,

Great new updates since the property switched ownership. One thing I didn’t realize upon booking is that there are no bath tubs in the king rooms. Disappointing. Concierge room amenities are excellent. Food is great. A short walk down the promenade & you’re at the brand new casino. Really enjoy it here.

We always stay here when in Red Deer. Staff is excellent, the facility is very good even if it’s getting on in years. The Club Room service is great! Comfy beds, beautiful views to the west and fabulous toiletries. I asked if I could buy some of the shampoo/conditioner but will have to find it online. It was that good! We always enjoy staying here.

Everything went well during our stay. Our room have a nice view and the staff are very helpful.My only concern during our stay is the noise we heard everytime the elevator operates. We can still heard it in our room and it bother's me and my kids during our sleep.

Not sure if it was the AC or something else, but there was a loud noise that made it hard to sleep. Sounded kind of like a fan but made the mirror on the wall vibrate all night. The TV had TERRIBLE clarity and very few channels compared to most hotels. The parking was limited, had to drive around for a bit to finally find something and then walked quite a ways to the front reception. The only EV charging was strictly for Tesla’s only which was disappointing. The bed was very comfy though.

Check in was awkward as there wasn't anyone at the front desk. Then the guy who walked up argued with the girl who was getting a drink and walked up shortly after that he would check us in. I asked if breakfast was included because i thought that was the package i booked and he stated No they dont have a breakfast that is included with rooms...well we went up to our room and did a scan and found out that for $14 more we could have gotten breakfast and access to the club room...Thats what i thought i booked. When we came back down with inquiries he said they dont do upgrades, and would "maybe" ask a manager but changed policies a month ago...The girl said yeah we do for $40. He shushed her rudely and said no to me...at that point I walked away...It was almost like he was mad at me for booking with Hotels.com...weird

Was busy while we were there but was very quiet in the rooms and floors. Lots of food options and casino is brand new. Has a good buffet on the weekends for only 20 dollars. Club level rooms are nice shower is big. The club level room breakfast was okay nornal stuff like bacon sausage and eggs. Could have more option after hours only pop and juice after 9pm available.

the room was very nice , staff where smiley and friendly .i felt safe there . but the steak restaurant was a sorry ass place . when you order your steak nothing comes with it , every thing else is side , but they dont have baked potatoes or salads , it was the worst dinning exp. in a long time . im never going back to it again

Booked a room atbthis property through Expedia. Room wasnt available when i showed for check in. They dont guarantee rooms booked through Expedia. And said if you wanted that exact room, you shouldve booked through the hotel, not expedia. I wasnt impressed at all. At 10pm at night you just want to sleep. Waiting managers approval on a refund. Ill update this again if i actually hear back from the hotel. Tyoical fashion, hitel blames Expedia, and Expedia blames the hotel. If the room wont be held, both oarties shouldnt advertise it as being available.
