Nice simple well located hotel for East Shinjuku. Friendly staff, small but comfortable rooms. Great value.

My room smelled like a dirty sock, to the point that I couldn't sleep because of the smell. I had to run to Daiso for fabric refresher and use the entire thing on the tiny room. I recommend for the GM to have the carpets cleaned thoroughly ASAP. Gross feet + Tokyo humidity = gross smells. Also I was disappointed the breakfast that came with my booking wasa coffee, 2 mini croissants and a large spoonful of potato salad. I don't really recommend this hotel unless you really want or need to have LGBTQ+ friendly. The cafe staff members were wonderful.

Modern and clean! Loved the stay at Hotel Cen. Plus the staff were all so nice!

The staff are all really amazing. They’re all really willing to assist with any questions you might have.

Friendly staff. Room was expectedly small but served its purpose. Breakfast was simple but good. The bar was lovely to hang out in. Dryer in laundry was average but signage tells you this.

Staff were very helpful and printed tickets we needed at no cost and happily.

Great shower (it's definitely small though) with proper pressure and nice and firm mattress - what more you need from your hotel in Tokyo? Excellent staff - helpful and speaks English.

Very clean and modern, in an ethnic neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great location in busy Shinjuku, but down a quiet street for good sleep. Friendly staff, clean, modern room, no complaints!

Nice little gem in the big city of Tokyo. I liked very much the design of the hotel and the rooms. Well done, not the typical "Tokyo Standard" where all hotel rooms look quite the same.

nice attitude and the room is clean. The location is quite convenient.

The hotel is new. But the room is too small. Too narrow for 2 people... Hotel is around 7 mins walk from JR station. Not closes to the metro.
Close to Korean restaurants.

The staff was courteous and helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. The layout of the room was thoughtful and made good use of the space. Bedding was comfortable and the room quiet.

They respond quickly to my queries and requests. The bed was good and firm including firm pillows that i requested. A good night sleep is so essential for a traveller. Location was excellent. Not too near the busy shinjuku station and not too far for us to walk to the shinjuku station. Staff ever so friendly and welcoming. A very good experience for me.

Excellent place in the heart of shinjuku. Great terrace to enjoy a coffee and everything you need in the rooms

Staff were kind and professional. The building is brand new, having opened just last month. Stayed for four nights and had no issues.
The attached cafe was fine, but nothing special. Good for a convenient meal if you’re starving, but it’s in one of the most diverse neighborhoods of Shinjuku, so live a little.
Check out the balcony, accessible by the staircase outside the front entrance. Good view of the street below and a great place to unwind. The laundry room is right next to it. One of the washers was broken (How? It’s brand new), but I didn’t run into problems doing laundry there. As a bonus, it has AC.
The hotel isn’t too close to the heart of Shinjuku, but it’s got plenty of nightlife close by, and Shinjuku Station is a 15 minute walk away. The neighborhood doesn’t feel touristy, for better or for worse, so keep that in mind before you book a room. Personally I was a fan, though you may not be.
