The room was so cute! The little extra room to be used as kitchen and desk and vanity was adorable. Loved the decor!

If you have a classic car, this is a perfect place. Old school "motor hotel" with parking right outside the door

Family owned with wonderful guest service. Pet-friendly. Family-friendly. Well stocked with ice in the machines. Lovely room decor with a positive vibe and charming amenities you wouldn’t expect at a motel. Love the retro fridge! We will definitely stay at the Sands Motel again.

Cute little motel in the nice part of the city. Nothing close to fancy but good for the money. Lady at the reception was nice.

It was late and we wanted to stay somewhere quieter and less expensive than Vegas. I was so grateful she let us check in at 11:30 pm after a long day in Bryce Canyon.
The madmen 50 motif was cool, plenty of plugs. Cute separate kitchen was great. Firm wonderful king bed. Actually way better than our Vegas room at the gold nugget /Carson tower

Very roomy and clean rooms with attention to all the details. They even had bumpers on the bed legs so you wouldn't hurt your toes if you stubbed them. We really liked the kitchen area with the retro fridge and microwave. It was a great place to spend the night.

Great Little Old Fashion Motel. Love it :-)

Great little place to stay at. Easy walk to food/bars/coffee shop. My only con would be it's slightly noisy, but I would happily stay here again.

Great little hotel with an updated look in the rooms while keeping its' 1960's exterior look.
8.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed the nostalgic 70's 80's look. The room and surrounding area was clean and quiet, located close proximity to restaurants and bars. In the morning, 6am, the barking dogs and rude people beeping their horns was annoying. Also the A/C /Heater fan was noisy at all levels. All told I would stay here again.

My last stay was better. My room this stay wasn’t great. The TV had problems and the toilet bowl was loose. The shower head was way too low to enjoy a good shower. All that said, I will probably try them again in the future.

Quiet and local.

Our room was large! A king bed didn’t crowd it. The kitchen area with a mini frig with separate freezer, coffee pot and a microwave came in handy. The room has been redone with new carpet and flooring. The rooms were quiet with no noise from other rooms. But given that this is a motel with direct access from the lot (nice to be able to pull right into your own space and unload into the suite without stairs or walking a distance), there was some traffic noise from both the street and lot. It got quiet after 10 and wasn't an issue for us, but if you had a small kid trying to sleep early, it might be. The bathroom is small, but clean and functionable. Would definitely stay again if traveling in the area.

The hotel is clean, quiet and safe. The staff is amazing! They're very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated, that is the only downside.

Super cute motel. Seems newly renovated. Felt safe outside and clean inside.

Very cool, comfortable place, but since it's a motel, the mornings are noisy. Also, there was no shampoo (good thing to know ahead of time).
