Very nice place to stay

no one mentioned the $32 parking, no one to help with the bags, $6.00 coffee, Resort fee $25.00 Little things that don't surprise you. I booked the Hyatt and was informed of all fees in advance. Would still have booked your hotel but wonder if next time there would be new fee and not be told. Richard

Right next to Legoland very family friendly

I liked how chill and easy it is.
The spa and pool area is kind of small

Amazing guy at the bar

We absolutely loved our stay can’t wait to return

Not organized, pretty place, but loud and full of lots of families.

Understaffed. Horrible service for breakfast. Please don't buy that option, just go your own way and pick something up elsewhere. We waited two hours, only waiters. Food was ehhh. Just don't do it. Rooms were average. Bed was hard and old. One of the worst beds I've slept in. Too pricey for what it is. Look somewhere else.
4.0
Upscale property with a cool vibe. HOWEVER, Don’t count on getting your room made unless you go find somebody from housekeeping specifically ask them to clean your room.

The check in experience was horrible. No greeting upon arrival at all, nobody offered to help us with our bags and we had many due to traveling with a child. The customer service experience throughout our stay lacked as a whole due to nobody greeting or being friendly. When we had questions about our stay they also didn’t know how to respond. The room itself had a weird smell in the bathroom of rust, the toilet was old, the bed was not comfortable to normal standards at all. It just felt cheap for the price of the hotel. Also didn’t like that there was a resort fee charge added each additional day not Included in the original price of the room. Overall I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone and we won’t be back ever again.

Our room has a broken thermostat, and the sink drain isn't working.

It was my birthday weekend and expected it to be a little more friendly and luxurious. I get to the counter and wanted to check in a bit early which was nice of them to allow me as i just drove 6 hours so i was happy about that. He checks me like its a motel 6. Not friendly asks me the reason for my stay twice. Hands me the keys and doesnt explain anything regarding parking, breakfast, the amenities where they are found. When i asked about parking and where to park for easier access to my room he was like oh we have underground parking. Doesnt explain that per night the fee is $30 and there is a 25 dollar urban destination charge that is $25/ per night. I have never heard of such a thing as not even breakfast is included. What am i paying for $25. Just disappointed with my stay as i was really looking to treating myself for my birthday.

First thing to note is that the Cassara shares facilities with another property. Seems like its set up more like a time share property and not a traditional hotel.
Good:
Proximity to Legoland - The property is adjacent to Legoland. Saw a number of families walking to the park. Didn't walk myself so not sure exactly how long it takes.
Pool - The Cassara has a large pool for lap swimming. The pool area also has a jacuzzi and several fire pits. There is also a kiddie pool located on the adjacent property. The adjacent property also has a fitness center.
Bad:
The hotel room - My main complaint is the room itself. Our room was completely dated. It smelled like one of those old Vegas rooms that use to allow smoking. The carpet also looks like its 30 years old. The bathroom is also very dated but everything worked OK. Our room was also very noisy. We were situated next to the parking lot and could hear everyone's conversations even though we were on the second floor.
Lack of restaurant - The hotel doesn't have any restaurants. There are tables in the lobby with limited food service but I wouldn't want to eat in the lobby with people passing by. With that said, we didn't eat there so not sure how the food is.

General business trip, expensive hotel for limited amenities

Property is beautiful and rooms were very clean. Staff were all very nice and helpful. The dining was a bit disappointing because the food took FOREVER to come out. Also would have been nice to have an outdoor dining option so we could enjoy the great view.

The pool was heated and my kids had a blast. Also the staff was very friendly and our room was clean. Can’t ask for more! Also only a 5 ish min drive to Legoland which was our purpose for being there :) highly recommend!

Wry convenient to get around the facility. Great that they have a children’s pool/play area. Would have liked more food choices.

overall this hotel was very beautiful and very clean but very confusing since they share parking as well as the venue with another hotel property. i will say there were two specific employees, i'm not sure of their names but the two ladies were absolutely no help and honestly unprofessional. After checking in the first lady gave us a room that was already occupied so we had to go and inform the front desk. We then speak to an employee named emily who did confirm there was a guest still checked in to our room. After we get the room situation handled and are on our way to our new room we do hear in the distance the first lady who helped us as well as Emily and another lady who was the manager speaking about our room situation and just speaking rudely about it. As they are getting closer the first lady who checked us in as well as the manager approach my boyfriend and myself and proceed to say we went to the wrong room (even though the employee Emily confirmed there were guest still in our room) and continue to make us feel uncomfortable and as if the mistake was ours. My boyfriend and myself stayed in our room majority of our stay to avoid the two. Regardless the worker emily and the male manager upfront were very nice, helpful, and very understanding

This property was fine. It was walkable to Legoland and had a family pool. However the cement around the family pool was VERY slippery. I lost track of how many times my child slipped. Sometimes they were being careless, but other times they were just walking. Also, my room was on the ground floor and was infested with tiny ants, we brought popcorn back from Legoland, and had to throw it away because within minutes it was crawling with ants. While it was a serviceable hotel, and close to our activities, it was not really worth the price.

In order to access my room reservation room at my 4 pm check-in, , I was required to wait 2 1/2 hours. Stated reason was that house cleaning had not been completed yet. Unfortunately, the room smelled of urine and had to keep windows and slider door open to minimize the odor. Communication with Lady at Front Desk was pleasant. Space of the 2 room corner unit 2238 was needed, so an alternate room selection was not available.

This is my second time staying there; overall, it's a great hotel. The reason I’m giving four stars is the bar pool service. The staff is not friendly at all, and their service is horrible.

Nice place. We had a room with a king bed and a separate room with two twins. It was clean and comfortable and the layout worked well for us.

We had two-day passes to Legoland across the street, so the location was perfect, but the resort was disappointing. The room wasn't as clean or well-maintained as we expect, and the bed wasn't comfortable. After the first night, my husband slept on the sofa. The food in the restaurant was generally quite good, but the service was lackadaisical to poor (with one or two welcome exceptions). The resort's idea of an "ocean view" isn't the same as ours; we had to crane our necks to see the water from our room. Next time we're planning a trip to this area, I'll explore other options.

THE STAY WAS GOOD BUT I WASN'T TO HAPPY WITH THE CHANGE FROM A KING TO A QUEEN ROOM. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY .

Nice facilities, but room was not ready on time.

I selected this hotel due to the playground but it was very dirty and lacked maintenance. The resort fee can be used as a food and beverage credit at the hotel bar restaurant, which is kind of nice but service was too slow.

We stayed here for 5 nights so we could go to Legoland with our toddler. What a lovely place. Front desk staff, bar staff, housekeeping - all lovely. The pool area is relaxing, and spacious. The whole hotel is immaculate and has nice decor throughout. If you have kids, there is a great playground and kids splash park away from the adult pool that will keep them busy. Happy hour starts at 3:30pm so make sure you try one of their awesome margaritas next to the pool. Legoland is about a 10min walk away.
Will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

I loved the hospitality and how clean it was! Beautiful views and so convenient having the restaurant next door!

very close to Legoland with a luxury type feeling at the resort!

I paid 270 for the night when inwould have done better at a doubletree. This hotel seemed to be luxurious online but in person it was not. I asked for a room with a decent view and was placed in front of the roof with air-conditioning generators loud and not pleasant to look at during my stay. I paid top dollar for nothing. Will not return

Very expensive to not even have complimentary coffee.
