Family weekend visiting Thorpe park with friends

Booked a family room which was nicely equipped with bunk beds and king bed. The room was comfortable but was disappointed by the telly not being a smart tv (we couldn’t work out the chromecast feature). Also, rountrip shuttle tickets are expensive for 2 adults (27£) and direct pick up is only once per hour from heathrow (with very little info on where to get the shuttle from the airport- all the FAQs offered by radisson website is about parking. But, the pool is amazing and has long hours (6am-10pm).

Tv won’t cast with phone - so no streaming local news channels only - apparently Samsung TVs don’t like to cast with iPhones?? No shampoo or body wash in shower, fire alarm “accidentally” went off at 00:48 struggles to get back to sleep. No ice machines - no 24hr room service as advertised- basic room service Menu- no robes or slippers unless you book superior rooms - definitely our last time booking
Also NO shuttles lol - we can pay £7 each for ride share or book an Uber - ridiculous

Booked the hotel through hotels.com 8 hours before I needed the hotel rooms. 3 hrs later I got bumped off my flight and tried to cancel/ get refunded for the rooms I had reserved a few hours later. Never heard from the company

The lady that checked us in was probably the rudest person I’ve ever had contact with at a hotel. I asked a couple of questions and she answered, but her tone was so incredibly rude. I asked about getting to the airport in the morning. She gave me an incorrect answer. In the morning I found out we should have booked our transportation the night before. Luckily, the young lady working then was extremely helpful and made it work for us.

All good but bathroom had a strong odour. Staff were gracious and allowed me an extra hour to check out. Breakfast was great - lots of choice! Venue great- had late flight so appreciated the proximity on arrival.
A good experience overall

So the Hotel itself is reasonably nice and in a good location if you want to be close to Heathrow, BUT (and its a big BUT) it just missed the mark on Service. A few examples:
No Food other than room service after 23:00
No Food at all between 24:00 and 07:00
The Coffee Station in the lobby is not operational
The phone in our room didn't work
The TV in our room would randomly switch off
The HEAT in our room didn't work
The HEAT in our room was fixed (and still didn't work)
Our door fobs had to be re-set (both of them)
The room was NOISY, with conversations in the next room audible.
So, all in all the experience was "glitchy" at best and not what I have come to expect from a Radisson!

Air conditioning was great

Chic hotel. Easy access to the airport via Uber, we didn't use the shuttle, Uber was cheaper and faster.

After a 9 hour flight and then paying for a bus from Heathrow to here I was told that they couldn't find my booking. I showed them my reference and email confirmation but somehow they still couldn't find it. Instead of offering me a room they just told me to phone hotel.com who I booked with. Absolutely exhausted from my journey I just made my way home. They couldn't find me on their system and yet I've been told to write a review regarding my stay?! Very interesting.

First timer for this hotel and stayed based on a friends recommendation. Good call as easy to find, check in, good room, etc.
Only comment you need to know is if staying before a flight out of LHR and catching the shuttle bus to T2 or T3 you need card payment when you stagger onto the bus with your cases

Helpful reception guy who arranged to re freeze some ice packs for me - thanks

Check in took too long but everything else very nice. Bed a bit on firm side

Issue with maintenance noise on the roof and we were on the top floor. Woken up at 7AM to contractors working. When I asked to speak to a Duty Manager no one was available. Asked again for a Duty Manager at checkout, told someone would be 2 minutes, then 5 minutes, 10 minutes passed and I got tired of waiting. Extremely poor that when you want to speak to a manager no one is available.

This hotel is convenient and reasonably priced with the 222 bus stop just outside the car park making travel to Hounslow West Undergtound and then central London really easy. Every member of staff we interracted with was lovely. However, on arrival, the pool...one of the main reasons we booked the hotel (it was a wedding anniversary celebration) was close without notice. Also, the restaurant prices are ridiculously high and beer is up to £9 per pint and a glass of white wine as high as £16.50. Yep...unbelievable and a shame really. I know its London but come on guys.

Couldn't believe how bad the food was in this hotel. The restaurants are all bad with the Italian one being the worse of the bunch. I had to eat in both restaurants because the Italian potion was soo bad and small that I left there hungry.

Extremely impressed by this airport hotel. Style, comfort, food, cleanliness, cost. Everything was great! Will look for Radisson reds when i travel now and would even consider staying here and taking transport to city center as needed depending on reason for travel.

Just an overnight airport stop , but the room was really comfortable and quiet. , great comfy bed and linen , top class toilet and shower facilities. Easy access for T5. First class airport taxi booking service in foyer.

What can i say, woke up to no hot water, no apology, no explanation, after speaking to manager (assured i’d be compensated) ignored my follow ups then refused to hotel.com request for assistance. Absolutely no way to run a hotel.

Checkin was slow, it looked as though there wasn’t a reservation at first although I’d had numerous emails. It was resolved by a helpful person.

Transportation from the Bus at the hotel is not recommended, better Uber. Not to much difference in cost, but more comfortable… The check in kiosk is not working properly, easier the reception… good size room with the amenities needed…

In general all good. It was a very short stay before our departure.

Very comfortable overnight close to Heathrow for next morning flight. Quiet, large room for a good price.

Rooms are nice and spacious. I spent 2 nights and unfortunately tv didn't work during that time - there was some kind of problem with the chanels in the whole building.
The connection from terminal 5 is not the best - a shuttle bus service is once an hour.
Buffet breakfast was really good - something for everyone.

The property is a bit run downed and needs some TLC. otherwise location and staff are OK.

Very clean. Very Busy. No a/c or ventilation control. Not able to charge to the room from the inhouse bar/restaurant...very odd arrangement. Staff was very friendly. Food was good.

We were there for two nights before leaving for the states . We arrived on Friday evening around 8:30. Check in was ridiculously long took almost 25 min . They couldn’t find our booking in the beginning. We were told about the restaurant and bar. We had no tv service and when my husband called the desk they told him to cast it from our phones which never worked through our full 2 night stay . Luke warm water on Friday night and cold water the next AM this time he went down to the front desk and was told yeah it’s a problem nothing to do about it and blew him off . After checking out we went outside to wait on the pre booked hotel shuttle for the airport . Waited 15 min and went inside to asked where pick up was told out there a mini van . Ride was 21 min late and almost missed our flight window. The only upside to the stay was that we talked to housekeeping twice and both times the girls were very nice .

Waited over 2 hours for housekeeping to bring pillows, hairdryer and sugar. Room service food was cold sent it back and went to the bar area for food. Kettle was broken . TV only picked up 2 channels. Not at all like our stay 12 days ago.

Hotel was great but they insisted I hadn't paid in advance even with a dated receipt. Had to pull credit card records to prove payment through Hotels.com to prove payment. Also emailed and messaged hotel through Hotels.com before visit and never received an answer. I don't know if issue was hotel or 3rd party/Hotels.com but hotel staff great and stay was great.

Clean and spacious rooms and very nice staff. A five min ride to get to the hotel from the airport with shuttle bus.

Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get to spend as much time here as we planned. While the hotel looks great - the service and amenities could use some work. As soon as you enter, there’s a self-serve kiosk to check-in or you can wait to see someone at the front desk. Out of 7 ppl in front of me, only 1 of them had any success with the kiosk. It didn’t find mu reservation either so I had to go to the front desk. The room was better than expected but we immediately dropped our bags and went to eat at Filini. The restaurant is awful to put it nicely. Waited over 30 minutes for our server to introduce themselves. Waited an additional 60 minutes for our food to arrive. If we needed something we had to wave them down. They never came to check on us. Food was terrible and there was nothing Italian about it. Pizza, lasagna, tortellini, and veal were all poor quality. To make matters worse, the server added a 20% tip onto our bill without even asking us or telling us. If we ever go back to London, it certainly won’t be here. Go anywhere but here.

great location close to Heathrow.

Stayed before, this is a great location before a morning flight from Heathrow. It’s family friendly, the rooms are a good size for families and the breakfast is always good.
As per my last review, the “airport view” is an overstatement, they are rooms that face the airport but there is no view.
The check in queue was 35 minutes which was disappointing and why I would only rate as a 4 star.
