This was my 1st experience with Onsen Bathe. I wanted to try a similar hotel in Vancouver, BC, CAN. This was by far one of my favorite hotel experiences and I extended an extra day since I wanted to try all of the amenities! The Onsen Bathe Pool was so relaxing and fortunate to have the pool area all to myself on each visit morning and evenings. This is a must amenity once checked in to your reservation! The Sake Bar was informative on the imported sake from Japan. I recommend having a flight to taste a range of sake, rice wine, so you know the variety that is offered. If you are wine connoisseur, this is a different beverage all its own! If you are not used to Asian hotels, the slight difference is the heater is above you. And the most excellent part that I found so so beneficial was no phones only a tablet and the bathroom has a bidet to try and a separate full soaking tube and rain shower head with a separate hand held. Some bidets come with an air dryer but this one you still had to use a towel to dry after use but a heated toilet seat is every person's dream toilet! I tried all the amenities. The gift shop is a taste of Tokyo and Portland, Oregon. There were gifts and momentos including sundries in case you forgot to pack some important toiletries not available in the bathroom already. I was just about to buy the whole store but I know I will return and bring some friends along with us. My first purchase was a bottle of sake for Thanksgiving so everyone could enjoy it!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom felt luxurious. (I am now convinced I need a bidet.) I did not take advantage of the onsen, but I wish I had. The japanese breakfast at the Waterfalls restaurant was delicious.

Next time I visit again I will stay at the hotel.

Friendly staff, clean, decent location.
Probably the nicest $130 hotel I've stayed in.

The Asian influence was fun but they didn’t have hangers to hang coats, etc. on, even though there was a space for this. Our communication pad did not work and they didn’t seem too concerned about it (there is no phone in room). Room was clean and comfy. We didn’t eat there, very, very pricy but lots of restaurants near by. Really good location too.

Absolutely lovely hotel with very tranquil ambience and kind, attentive staff. I give it my highest recommendation.

We loved staying here! Lobby and rooms are clean, rooms are a great size, and easy parking. Was not able to take advantage of the onsen. The entrance to the hotel is a little weird.
Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new, beds comfortable and down comforter was thick and warm. Bathrooms super clean and rain shower option was a plus. This is a hidden gem and will be our go to hotel when visiting.

Our stay at the Cedartree was incredible. The hotel is amenity packed, the staff are polite, and the environment is cozy. Sam helped us check in seamlessly, and we would certainly stay here again.

Such a cool hotel. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The amenaties like the Koi fish pond and Onsen bath made this stay unique and fun. The price was lower than many other hotels.

Japanese style is beautiful and while I do appreciate the authenticity, I was disappointed that there was no Pool/hot tub and the Japanese style baths are male female, clothes optional as traditionally they are but I don’t think it will be enjoyed much. And to take a bath with strangers is not sanitary. Absolutely beautiful room and amenities food drink etc and beds are very good

I came here for a weekend away from the kids, and it was magnificent! I chose Cedartree because of the deep soaking tubs in all of their rooms, and I took full advantage of that feature. I also checked out the Onsen bath, and it was so relaxing. The sake bar downstairs was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I stayed in a deluxe room because I wanted the couch, but I was curious to know what the other differences between the deluxe and standard rooms were, so I asked a staff member if he could let me see an unoccupied standard room. They're very similar, but I noticed that the soaking tub in the standard room is shorter, and it has only has a ledge on one side of the tub, so if you're like me and bring a special tray table for the bath, you'll want to get the deluxe room.
I read other reviews saying that the fridges in the rooms are super small, so I didn't bring much that needed to stay cold. I do wish the mini fridge was a little bit bigger, but it is tall enough to fit a bottle of wine, and that was my main concern.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I plan to stay there again.

We chose the hotel because of the proximity to our kid’s soccer tournament. We had to arrive late because of a later game. The welcome desk was friendly, the room was clean, but the staff at the restaurant was spectacular. The restaurant sat us even arriving at 9:30pm, the staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious. We were so thankful to have a great place to eat and stay for a very long weekend.
