I like that this location is perfect. The WiFi stopped working after our first nights stay, but other than that the room was comfortable and clean. Room also need an iron and hairdryer. The main entrance/ lobby can also use a facelift, but great staff and great location.

The hotel is in a commercial normal building where they have certain rooms on levels 4 and 6, the restaurant is on floor 6, open 24/7, but food is only from 08-11 for breakfast. Very small rooms, however it was clean, so no worries.

The hotel is located on a busy street with lots of places buy clothing. Just a few short minutes away are restaurant. Although there are lots of cars and honking, the hotel rooms are relatively quiet.
The only downsides experienced was there is no maid service everyday, so I had to ask for new towels each day. Also, the wall AC was going in and out.

This hotel is an absolute bargain for the price; don't expect anything fancy - it is suited more for backpackers and those on a tight budget. It is located in the heart of Cairo and is extremely convenient; if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay then this is not the place as it is located on the main high street.
The hotel is located on the 4th and 6th floor of an old apartment block. The apartment block is very old and could do with a revamp. The lobby area of the hotel is on the 4th floor and some rooms are also located here; the lobby is very dark and needs better lighting.
We stayed on the 6th floor which was much newer and had a nice kitchen area. The rooms are very big with high ceilings and they are clean.
The most frustrating thing about the hotel were the en-suite bathrooms. Water was unpredictable and sometimes did not work which was very annoying.
Staff were extremely friendly, had a smile and were always willing to help - you can't go wrong with the price...

Good place in general but the elevator is very old. Good housekeeping. The doors of the rooms are not soundproof or lightproof

The hotel is in a very old building, perhaps millenary, and the signs are horrible, there is not even a hotel identification on the facade. The reception is on the fourth floor and the room is on the sixth, but the elevator is very, very old and dangerous.

You get what you pay for. Initially when I got there I wanted to leave immediately. The place looked a little decrepit and scary. There was a guy sleeping in a room as I arrived. The lift looked like it came out of the 1920s. There’s no shower curtains. I was glad I brought my own soap because the one they gave you was the size you wash your hands with. I’m glad I sleep hard because my room was facing the street so I heard the honking of horns until about 12am every night. The bed was extremely hard a plus for my bad back. Breakfast was served daily from 8-11am. Everyday you received eggs, bread, cheese, jam, cucumber salad, and coffee or tea. Overall, the stay was ok and the staff was friendly and attentive.

It was our worst experience in Egypt. We booked the taxi transfer through the hotel and they moved us to a different hotel/different room without prior notice.
It is only once we arrived in front of another hotel late at night the owner gave us a call to say that we had to change room… and location ! It was so late that we did not have any other choice that to accept.
The room was not at all like in the pictures, much lower quality, very noisy and a bit dirty. We had to take our breakfast on our bed in the morning because there was no room in the hotel to have breakfast. No excuse from the hotel manager, no discount. It looks like they are practicing overbooking and do not care about their customers : I would not recommend to anyone.

Amazing

The hotel is in a good location, it is in the middle of downtown, which is convenient for everything including transportation and food venues to dine out. The rooms and the bath room are clean and the guys on the reception desk are very friendly and helpful. The Hoel is inside of the six floor of an old building. The entrance and the hall way of the building is very dirty, depressing and a bit scary. The hotel needs to make an effort to clean it up and make it a little presentable. Also the pillows and the mattress are as hard as a rock.

The building is 180 years old according to them, the hotel is on the 4th and 6th floors. It is located on the busy Talaat Harb street, downtown, which is a great location except for the heavy traffic. The elevator is about 70 years old, with double doors that need to be manually closed for the elevator to move.Wifi signal in the rooms is bad and no safety box.
